View 2 RepliesAfter opening Bridge CS6 (and using mini Bridge), there are no thumbnails showing. I've pointed Bridge to just one folder with less than 5 photos in it and it cannot even display them. I'm running a recent Mac Pro with 16GB RAM and kick graphics card.

View 26 Replies View RelatedI have already tried deleting the folder and rebooting the computer, I have tried creating a new user account, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the entire package and I cannot get Mini Bridge to work at all. It just keeps going to "Mini Bridge waiting for Bridge CS6..." and then never finds anything. I am having this issue on both my Macbook Pro Retina 15 and my MacBook Pro 13 (Early 2011 model). I also made sure that both Macbooks are fully updated as well as all CS6 software titles.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI currently have CS5 extended installed on a desktop (xp 32 bit) and a laptop (Win7 64 bit) all files are up to date. When I start Photoshop create a new file, start mini bridge to select the file I want to copy and paste into my new file. I select the file,it opens in Photoshop I press these key strokes (control-A; control-C), move to the file to be copied to and press control-V. The file may or may not be copied. Even pressing control-V several times. You can press edit; paste and still nothing happens. But press edit; paste special; the file will be copied into the file. If the file is copied on the first try go back and select a different file and repeat the process. To get the file pasted into the document I; created a new layer; control-V; file is copied to a layer. If I create a new layer then turn off this layer press: control-V the file can also be copied to a layer. All of the above is when I start mini bridge to navigate to the files.
Now close Photoshop and Bridge. Restart Photoshop start Big Bridge (not mini bridge)! Create a new file; use Big Bridge to navigate to the file you want to copy into the new document, files opens into Photoshop enter the keyboard short cut or tool bar to select the file, copy the file. Now switch to the file to be pasted into press;control-V or select; file; paste; now everything's works. Try this process with different files to be pasted into the new document and it works flawless every time.
Just downloaded PS6 and when I try to open a pic from the mini bridge by pressing O it opens in Windows Live Photo Gallery instead od PS.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running CS5.5 on a MacBookPro. When I try to use Mini Bridge the little gray panel opens up but there is no "browse files" button, I can't open settings, I can't search, I can't do anything with it! Bridge works works just fine. I am including a screen shot of my MB window to show what I am seeing. I have tried everything I could think of including restarting Bridge and PS. Is there something else I need to try other than a complete reinstall of the App, which I will not do just to get MB to work.

My old laptop tried to self-destruct, so I was forced to move a huge amount of art files to a new laptop. Now, I have no thumbnails in Photoshop (PS3 using XP Professional) and oddly enough, it appears that often entire folders and files aren't showing up when they're actually there. The only thing I'm seeing is the PSD logo. .tifs, .jpgs, and other formats aren't even showing up as being on the disk.
I've gone through all settings that I know of and can't seen to find the 'fix'.
I have a large single catalogue of photos. Some of the thumbnails in the library are now appearing greyed out. I think they were all there a few days ago, and since then the only things I have done are upload more images, cull those I did not want and backup the catalogue. I do not recall having this issue with LR3, and they all seemed OK when I upgraded to LR4. I have restarted LR several times, and it makes no difference. My Mac tells me all programs are up to date.

The upper-right thumbnail is most selected, and the one to the right of it is selected. But why do the remaining thumbnails have two different shades of grey?
I'm running CS2 and Camera Raw v3.6 which supports my Nikon D2Xs. When I load the CFcard into my reader the JPEG files show fine in Adobe Bridge but the RAW files on the same card only show as a NEF file name (no thumbnail). How do I get the thumbnails for these RAW images to show in Bridge?

Using Lightroom 5.2 on a Windows 7 PC. I used to see a grey icon in the upper right corner of an image on the filmstrip to show it has been selected as part of my quick collection. I could also click in the top right corner to add an image to the quick collection. Now no grey dot is visible and clicking in the top right corner does not add the image. My only option is to hit the B key to add. I suspect it is related to Flash. I have the latest version installed but in some cases when browsing in IE, I'm asked to install Flash even though it is installed and verified on the Adobe site.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I open a Canon image file folder containing cr2 raw and jpeg images from my canon 40D In Bridge CS3, at first the thubmnail images show up with the beautiful color that I shot. Then, one by one, *poof*, *poof*, poof*, bridge cs3 turns the thumbnails into garbage by darkening and desaturating each and every one of them. What the hay? The images are shot using the adobe rgb color space in the 40D.
What is Bridge cs3 doing to my image thumbnails? Why is Bridge cs3 doing this to my image thumbnails? How can I stop Bridge cs3 from doing this to my image thumbnails?
When I use the Canon program DPP to open the images, the thumbnails look great (jpg or raw), and the images look great when I open them. But I don't want to use DPP. I want to use Adobe Bridge & CS3.
I have CS5 and am playing around with CS6. So far so good, impressed overall.
I like to have Bridge set up to display the Metadata for each image, and when I view the metadata, it is not as complete as what I see in the CS5 version of Bridge.
Specifically, I like to be able to see the Subject Distance, which is recorded for the camera/lens combination I'm using. In Bridge CS5, the Subject Distance displays just fine, but it is completely absent in CS6.
Also, I like to see the ISO as well. In Bridge CS5, it shows nicely as "ISO Speed Ratings" while in Bridge CS6, it shows as "(ISO) Photographic Sensitivity" - kind of excessive.
To verify this, I made sure *all* metadata options were chosen to display, but Subject Distance is not showing up anywhere, and the ISO is a bit wordy.
How to get it to display Subject Distance, which is contained in the metadata.
I cannot get thumbnails to display the image in library mode. I can click on develop on a particular blank thumbnail (blank thumbnails are dislayed and they are numbered).
What settings do I change? I am using an i7 laptop with 16gb ram. Wins 7.
