View 3 RepliesIt's easy enough to get the time date displayed beneath each thumbnail in PSE 11. Can I possible to get it to display the file name in that location instead. I know that I can see the file name in the properties tags but when naming new pictures it would be easier to see what pictures still need correct name the other way, under each thumbnail.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI can only view photo when 4 or less thumbnails are displayed at a time. When zoomed out to more than 4, photos disappear and hourglass symbol appears.
View 6 Replies View RelatedJust downloaded Elements 12 (and uninstalled Elements 7), so just starting to figure it out. Main interface is a bit different. Got 2 issues:
Where is the 'Display' button that loads the full file for viewing (not an enlarged thumbnail)? Used to be at top right in version 7.
When I try to run a slide show the program shuts down; pretty serious issue.
All of a sudden my thumbnail seze changed for a good size to tiny. How do I change it back?

For PSE 11 Organizer, how do I increase metadata display font size?
View 2 Replies View RelatedIn Lightroom 3.6. I am having difficulty with the photo date in the thumbnail. I had a series of pictures with incorrect dates in the metadata and I used Microsoft Photo Pro to correct the dates. The metadata is correct in the file and shows up correctly in the Metadata group of the right side panel, but some of the thumbnails show the date of the changed information rather than the Date Created. When I told it to "Read Metadata from disk", only the first file shows up correctly in the thumbnail. The others show today's date, which was the date that I made the changes to the files.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to have the thumbnail display on the bottom of the Organizer screen use a vertical scroll bar on the far right instead of the horizontal scroll bar below? Or, can I enlarge the size of the thumbnail display area without enlarging the size of the thumbnails? (Which means, I suppose, being able to specify what size I want the thumbnails displayed.)

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have Photoshop Elements 5.0 (windows). On my Organizer page, I am missing the bottom row of functions (which I have seen pictured on the Help Center). This is making it difficult to navigate and organize.
I am missing: Arrangement menu, thumbnail size slider, full screen view button, date view, map icon. The bottom-most item is the 'click here to add caption' under the photo. I looked all over the tool bars. Am I missing something obvious or do I have a software problem?
what is the purpose of the histogram display on the adjust pane. can it be modified from there? Also - what is the purpose of the four boxes below the histogram display?
Together they take up too much real estate to be there just for looks .
how to adjust the display level on doors.
I have attached a PDF of my problem.
In the sketch is a simple room with 3 types of doors.
A Single door which displays properly
An overhead door which has a sq box attached to it and
A Double door which has all sorts of lines/boxes displayed on it
Ho do I get the doors to appear normal in plan view.
I am putting my pictures onto DVD. When I play the DVD some, not all, of my pictures are shorten and stretched, which makes them hard to see. I have been told that it is a resizing issue, but I can't seem to figure out how to change the image size.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is probably an FAQ but for the life of me, I can't find it in your database(s). Simple: in my Layers tabs, how do I control the size of those thumbnails? By default those thumbnails are tiny and I want to make them larger.
So in the enclosed image example, I want to make the thumbnail of Title stuff larger.
How can I adjust size of default action frames they are very thin. I have tried double clicking on that part I think it is in the actions but can only adjust the drop shadows etc not the actual size of the frame ie like in the wooden frame.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy gimp opens all images in small thumbnail size (160 120). How can I get rid of this and get the files opened in their original size. I am running ubuntu 11.04 and gimp 2.6.11, and utilizing .NEF (nikon raw)
I have tried to remove $HOME/.gimp-2.6 - that didn't seem to work. I have installed and uninstalled ufraw - that didn't seem to work I have looked at gimp preferences, don't see there anything which would define reading in images into "thumbnail" size.
I am suspecting that after installing ufraw this problem appeared and I seem not be able to get rid of it. Removing $HOME/.ufrawrc didn't useful.
I'm running on a 30" monitor which is really great for workflow efficiency. BUT... the thumbnail images in the filmstrip are just too small and I'd like to be able to enlarge the thumbnail size.

Is there anything similar in LR5 to avoid permanent back and forth to the menu.
Im supposed to have a slider that allows me to change the size of my thumbnails.
I cant figure out how to get it back on my UI.
Where is the menu that tells it to show on the interface?
Any way to set the character leading setting so that it auto-adjusts when you adjust font size? I think my Ps used to do that. Now, whenever I change font size, I have to adjust the leading, too.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm working now on a project with canvas size A4 (5600x4200).i'm working with large objects and small objects each in its own layer.i wanted to align few object in a certain way and i wanted to use the grid for this.however the grid is so small and can only be seen using 66% and more zoom in. which makes it impossible to align the object since i can't see all of them together.
is there any way to adjust the grid to be in proportion to the correct zoom or not window ? as a workaround i found is the grid plugin , but with it i must recreate the grid for each zoom size and its hard to work like this. having the grid adjusted automatically or at least allow max/min setting for it so it can be seen in an A4 size canvas.
In Photoshop, you can set the size of the eyedropper to sample a single pixel, 3x3 average of 9 pixels, 5x5, 11x11, etc. It can make a big difference when sampling a single pixel as opposed to the average of a larger area.
Can the sample size be set in LightRoom?
If not, what is the sample size in LR when you run your cursor over the image? Does this vary depending on the displayed magnification of the image?
