View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to create a collage of small pictures. I would like some of the pictures to be rotated, but not at 90 deg or 180 - at smaller angles off normal. I do not see how to rotate an image by a preselected angle, or rotate on the fly.
As a second question, for the pictures I want to make the background [usually a solid color, white] transparent so I can overlay one object with another.
How do I make just the background fully transparent, without affecting an object?
When ever I open up a jpeg image in CS 6 it is opening at 2% to sometimes .5% These files are fairly large 3 to 6 megs, and the image size are standard 10'' x 16" for example.
Is there a setting so I can view them at screen size when I open them so I do not have to make them bigger every time I open a new jpeg?
I just tried running this program on a computer running on Windows 7 professional OS. When I tried to share the album I created by exporting to CD/DVD, the preview showed only small thumbnail icons without the pictures. I tired to troubleshoot the compatibilty but did not seem to work.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI am using Photoshop elements 10 with windows 7 on my Toshiba laptop.
I am trying to make a slide show of photos for my brother's funeral. The photos will be shown on a screen at the church and on a TV monitor at home. I was used to Photoshop 4, but had purchased but not really used Photoshop Elements 10. I am about 1000 miles away from home so I cannot go back to try to using Photoshop 4 which is not on this laptop. I don't think I want to change (i.e. resample) the pixels, etc.
I have put into order all of the photos. However, the photos are of varying sizes. The photos taken digitally are fine. However, I have a lot of photos take a long time ago for like 3X3 or 2X3, i.e. like in the 50's - 90's, which were scanned. Then provided to me in a variety of ways. Coming to me they are small on the page. ie like in one corner. I am not trying to shrink these photos. I am trying to resize them larger. And probably get rid of most of the white background.
I shoot in both cr2 (23 MB) and Small-jpeg. Afterwards I upload the pictures to Lightroom and have the appear in the catalog as one picture. Here I make all the editing and when I export the picture back to my harddrive as a jpeg I can only get a file of 3-500 kb. I know I have made some croping - but not that much. It is like Lightroom is working on the jpeg picture and not my cr2 picture. It may be a setting?
View 13 Replies View RelatedI am very much a Noob at photoshop, this is officially the 2nd time I have used it. I have a small image, I want to rotate it 30 degrees counterclockwise. I also mant to put a small black border (10 pixels) around the outside of it. You can see the one I tried up in the banner on my developing site.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI imported pictures, edited all of them, then noticed that they are small, eg. size 190 KB. Trouble!!! Is there any way to link the edited images with the full size images that are of several MB's?? Hate to lose all the work that was done in editing.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have to make 3 similar images for a customer of a navigation menu on a PDA... The problem is that the company wants these 3 images in different resolutions - one in 10 bit, one in 12 bit and one in 16 bit. This makes it easier for them to decide which resolution the PDA have to work in. I have already told 'em that 16 bit would be best - but they still want these 3 images in different resolutions before they make the final decission.
So my question is this :
- How do I make a picture in PS where i work in 10, 12 or 16 bit color?
- Is it possible to make an image and then finally save in 10, 12 and 16 bit?
I saw it now several times:
Selecting three or more picturesAdjust something (enabled auto sync)Selecting a not adjusted picturesFirst picture is updated, the others adjusted picture are not updated. The previews in the filmstrip stays until I select them and they are displayed and updated Any chance to get at least the small preview pictures in the filmstrip automatically updated?
I just learnt to use Adobe Illustrator , the basics anyway. I am able to manipulate the size of the logo to almost scale in Illustrator. However, when I save the logo in JPEG/PNG for the web its always coming out smaller than i would like it to and i cant seem to get it to the size i want.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAny way to convert this image to a vector without having to recreate the entire thing. I need to make it so that it can be used like the rest of the logos on this sponsor backI have tried so many different ways but it's just not coming out right. The client doesn't have access to a better copy of the image, and I need to get this to the printer tomorrow.

It would be very helpful if I could shoose the opacity and level of decay via a plugin or some other way.
I want to enlarge a small photograph with the zoomtool. And when I try to save it on the desired percentage of 100% or so it returns back to it's original size ;After I have saved it as a new copy (image) with a new name.I have tried all the possibilities to save it within the larger size. Even by printer. Everything was in vain. But once it is transferred to the documents files it goes back to the original size.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm creating t-shirt pictures and have a problem: Spreadshirt says that my pictures have tiny objects in it, and that they have too many different colors. (I'm only allowed to have 3) I want to color all the transitions between the colors, but how do I select them without having to color one little spot at the time? Is it any way to just remove the transitions? And how do I remove the objects that are too small? Select same fill color doesn't work, or I'm doing it wrong. I also clicked expand to fix a text issue, don't know if that matters.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI run MacOS 10.9, Lightroom 5.3 and I print on an Epson R3000.
The first problem I had was that the images was printed on just a small part of the paper and it cut the images. I have attached a picture showing this. I totally reinstalled my computer and now it looks like that problem is gone (for now at least). But now the images are printed but much smaller than the paper I specify. If I specify A3+ I get something close to A4. Borderless printing on 6*4 looks to be working as it should but that's the only I managed to print so far.
I tested printing from Photoshop 5.1 and that worked fine.
How to combile two picture to become one picture, and there has no line between the two pictures?

I'm making animation so what i was do was to convert a video i made to picture to later put into PhotoShop and make animation there (i know i can convert to gif, but i like more to edit the animation too etc).
Here im gonna try explain what i need help with:
I making a new picture (or what its named, pressing file and new).
I make it 720x480 because that is all my pictures i need put into this picture i make.
When i got this white 720x480 i want to put in like 100 pictures that all is sized 720x480!
Here the problem comes.. When i put in the pictures its not coming into the white one! Its comes new
I want them come in, i've also tried make a marquee around the white (also pressing ctrl + a).
But not working!
So what i need to do is to go to a picture and press ctrl + a and ctrl + c and go to the white one i created and press ctrl + v
and then go to the next, and so on!
This takes time and i guess it would work to put in pictures directly so it will be layers in the white picture i was create in start.
i want to photoshop a picture such that it will look like a postage stamp pasted on a letter, with a "paid" chop like image on top of it.

I took a picture of a wall recently and thought it would look better with pockmarks. I found such a facility in one of my art programs and I think it was Photoshop Elements 9. I tried to use this facility yesterday but could I find this feature? No way. I looked carefully through all my art programs and it was nowhere to be found. I even uninstalled PSE 9 and 11 and reinstalled PSE 9 but still couldn't find this feature. Where had I come across this feature before? Had it been a plug in? I searched up and down the internet for plugins but couldn't find anything that rang any bells. I googled 'pockmarks' but just got plugins for removing them from faces. I've spent the last 24 hours thinking of and investigating every possibility to no avail. Now I'm exhausted.
