Photoshop :: Always Small Text Size?
Oct 28, 2004No matter what I do, the text in my photoshop(7.0) stays microscopic.
I have to make it 288pt just to appear to be what's normally 8pts.

Sep 18, 2013Why is the text size in the instructional boxes "File", "Edit", "Image" etc: so small that they are almost unreadable. I know its me, but I can't figure out how to fix it.

Jun 6, 2013I have CS5. The photos coming out of the camera are 300 dpi and approx 12.8" x 19.2". When I crop the photo to 300 dpi and 8x10 and send it to print, the printer says the photo is too small. It comes across as 72 dip and 8.333" x 6.667". I was expecting photos to come out of the camera with 72 dpi and a huge length x width. I can then crop and print without issue. Is there a photoshop setting that needs to be set? Is there a different work flow I need to use? I shoot with a 5D Mark III.

Feb 28, 2006How do you keep very small sized fonts looking good when manipulating them, as in using arc, skew, transform? I can manage this fine on bigger sized fonts, but when I want to make a very small font size arc (for ex to use on an avatar) it ends up looking blurry and not crisp and clean. tried pixel fonts but that was totally unreadable.

The PSD is currently 2550x3300 px (8.5x11 in) at 300 dpi. I'd like to save the resume as a PDF flie so I can submit it online. I have no intentions of printing this particular document. Most websites will only accept a file size of under 1MB. What are the ideal settings for saving a PDF in the smallest file size without sacrificing on image quality? I should also note that I do not have Acrobat Pro.

Feb 22, 2012when i make my brush size very small (to the point that its only like 4pixels dot on the screen), a crosshair symbol automatically appears around it which makes it hard to see the cursor's surroundings when working on small details without zooming in alot (which would make a 4px cursor appear bigger thus losing the crosshair again). I guess this feature is there for people that might have trouble locating small cursors, but on a large tablet that allows very fast work without having to zoom in much, this makes things harder. Is there a way to disable this or modify some files or "hack" the cursor icons somehow and delete it?
(Tried all possible combinations of the PS prefferences but none of it seemed to be related to the cursor becoming a crosshair once the brush size gets very small relative to screenresolution)

Apr 10, 2011Trying to make some micro ads (90x25) used on financial sites. I want to set my page size to that but can't. The smallest height the program will accept is 50pix.
Is there some way to override? Prefer to set page size so it matches the exported graphic. Less jaggies, less errors on my part.
How about a tutorial on clipview (need refresher for use with animation.. is the clip applied on every frame?)

I have been saving them as .stp files, but they are very large files after exporting, and I'd like to know if there is a way to decrease the exported file size. I could zip them after I create them, but I was hoping there was an easier way or different format than .stp. I could also suppress numerous internal componants, but I would rather not have to go through that task either. In the end, they would really only require the outer shell, with any externally viewed holes still present.

Apr 29, 2013I am unable to export them with a small enough file size so that they are able to see it on their slower computer. And it is a pain when it doesn't even fit on a dvd. These videos are somewhere around 2 hours long. I would also like to have them still HD. The only way I have been slightly succesful is to upload them to youtube then download them off again. Is there a way to do this? I have already tried H.264.

I've tried resetting the character...still the text is smaller than it should be. For example, 8 point Times New Roman can barely be seen with the naked eye. I haven't done anything different. I want to add text to the pic but when I do, the text is tiny tiny @ a scale of 72, literally the size of a period. I use the free transform command to make it bigger and when I scale it to where I want it the text size literally blows up to the 3-4 THOUSAND range, like the text size for example would be 3824.2 font size.

Mar 14, 2006something weird has started happening with the text tool. When I enter text it is really small. Even at 200pt it is tiny. I have it set on the normal text tool and none of the settings are changed apart from the font size. The work area is zoomed at 100% so it is at real size.

It wasn't added with a great application.
Now, the text is tiny, since the image is tiny.
It's also a purple color between light and dark purple,
and was inserted right over top of a pink wall.
It's not a high-quality image. I'd really like to bring that text out and make
it visible. Can anybody help me? I'm not a very experienced photoshop user,
but I thought to myself "If anything can bring that text out, photoshop can
