Was going to do another round of revisons to some ice cream labels, this came up while opening 11 flavors. Only came up on one, and is gone now. Seems like the fonts for showing the font technology changed to a font similar to Apple color Emoji, amybe a font in the show package contents.
View 2 RepliesWhen designing a sign for a customer, I take a photo of the existing signs, place on a new document in illustrator cs6, type text then scroll through the text character drop down menu to match the new sign text to the font that is currently on the customers signs, business card etc.
There are many different types of fonts and I would prefer not to have the adobe system fonts, asian, arabic and other fonts that are not used for my purposes.

Is there a way to remove them from this list.

I have tried deleteing them from the window 7 font manager but they are essential system fonts and it displays a message that some programes will not work if I delete them.

I have tried show/hide in the windows 7 font manager but this has no effect on the fonts displayed in illustrator.
I seem to be doing something that causes an empty bounding box to appear in my document and when I attempt to delete the bounding box I can't. It always remains on the screen. When I select any objects in the design, the mysterious bounding box encompasses it and the object. I can even move the empty bounding box to any corner of the artboard and when I select an object it will look as if the object has some hidden content in the corner where the empty bounding box was because it incorporates the mystery bounding box with the object's natural bounding box.
I'm running CS5 on a Windows machine with 8gigs of RAM.
I am running a subscription to Creative Cloud on a new Windows laptop....just Photoshop to start with. The fonts and icons are so small I can hardly see them...I have to get really close to the screen. I went to Edit >Preferences >Interface and changed the font size from medium to large but that didn't work (or if it did, the change was negligible). My screen resolution is set at 1920x1080 (recommended). I tried lowering it but that only changed the sizes of the fonts on my desktop, not in Photoshop. I run PS cs4 on my old laptop and never have had this problem.Â

I had two small files open, went from paper space to model space on one of them and BAM! flashing icons and prolonged lag time while the file went from model to paper space. Then after that every command (except Save) evoked some serious lag time and flashing icons.

I'm on WinXP, Athlon 64 4000+, 3GB ram, GeForce 6800 GT video card [driver 181.20]. I'm not sure if this is a video driver bug or CS4 bug.
We have just finished installing a new Photoshop trial and opened the program but for some reason the menues and icons are so zoomed out that we can't see/read them
We have tried changing it in setting with no luck and we can't seem to chance the view into full screen due to the option seemingly being inactive. The program is for my mother and her vision is to poor to read any of it.
In PSP X5 I have colored icons on each drop down menu(same as X4)..Have looked for a way(as in x4, x5)to show image and text in the menu but there is no way to do it.

I have used crosswalk and it will transfer a mesh but no textures and it will only transfer simple animations such as scale keyframes but nothing with regards to facerobot. The best result I've seen so far with crosswalk is that the face will be exported along with a morph target set but the morphs do nothing and all bones come in as dummy object with simple skinning. Not ideal as it negates the benefits of using face robot for implementing face capture into the pipeline.
I have seen the youtube video from Blur Studios explaining their workflow with facerobot on dantes inferno but they don't go into any detail.
UPDATE : Found out that crosswalk does not support facerobot transfer with any version of max.
Graphics department is having a problem with Franklin Gothic Medium Condensed Font.
 Font has extra space trackings in Corel x6. Is there a specific menu setting i should have to fix this?
Is it because it is an open face font?
I installed CDR X5 on a vista home 32 bit laptop.Downloaded SP3,and install.When i type text,and i want to say type a U with the double dot on top,UMLAUT,instead i get a smiley icon.Also whats strange,is that in paint,all works fine.Only in the draw package that alt+ what ever numbers,produce just garbage.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI cannot access my fonts menu. The drop down menu is blank box and snaps shut. I also have trouble with "save as" and file format...ie save as jpg...the drop down quickly snaps shut, I can often catch it after several tries but seriously lol.
These issues have something to do with user settings...I made a secondary account and the program works fine but changing between accounts is not the best solution. Where/what I need to look at in user settings ?
I just purchased, downloaded and installed PSE 12. I am running Windows 7. Everything seems to be working fine. My question is this: Why are the titles in tlhe menu bar (task bar?) at the top so small? When you actually pull down the menu it is fine but the titles (file, edit, image, filters etc) are extremely small and very hard to see. Also the path selection tool is just a dot (actually two tiny dots) and not the normal cursor arrow.
View 4 Replies View Relatedttf files into the windows/font folder like everybody says, but they wont appear in the font select menu. I've tried closing and opening photoshop, and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling photoshop, AND uninstalling and reinstalling illustrator just to make sure, but to no avail. They all appear in the font folder, but photoshop will not recognize them. Furthermore, I've been able to add new fonts in the past, they display in the font menu just fine...but not the ones I recently tried to put in. What's going on here? Are there more than one kind of .ttf ? Is there a way to force photoshop to look at the font folder?

I have a couple of Adobe Post Script fonts installed using Adobe Type Manager. I'm using Windows Vista Enterprise. First of all, is this C:PSFONTS and C:PSFONTSPFM the correct location for Adobe fonts under Windows Vista? I just installed about four Adobe post script fonts using Type Manager and it does not show up any of Adobe's product including Photoshop and LiveCycle. I also went back into Adobe Type Manager and look at the fonts that I just installed under the Fonts tab and I could not find it.
