I installed CDR X5 on a vista home 32 bit laptop.Downloaded SP3,and install.When i type text,and i want to say type a U with the double dot on top,UMLAUT,instead i get a smiley icon.Also whats strange,is that in paint,all works fine.Only in the draw package that alt+ what ever numbers,produce just garbage.

When I have Draw open on the desktop, The little green icon in the bottom left is there and shows tha I am signed in. However, when I am on my laptop, the icon is not thre at all. When you go to the help button and look - it says "sign out" which would indicate that I am signed in...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been battling with moving tool bars between my CorelX4 PC's. I think I've finally figured out how to do it so far. Export/Import RecordedMacro.bas 'First' and make sure it's the same name on both PC's as importing a new one renumbers the *.bas file. I think this made a difference anyway.
Export/Import Workspace Toolbar next. I found if I imported the workspace first, I couldn't get the new toolbar to work.
Now, if I want to edit the colors of the toolbar as shown below, the current color doesn't show in the editing window, nor do I have any color options.
I used to click on the A in the toolbox and look up on the menu to change between paragraph text and artistic text but I can't find that icon or any icons to choose paragraph text. It eludes in customizing the tookbox too?
How do I get that paragraph text tool to show up in menus, bars and the toolbox?
I have a tool bar for all the macros that I use regularly.
While we can add shortcut icon onto the tool bar by simply drag and drop, I couldn't figure out the way to remove icon from the tool bar.

I had the free trial of X5 and it expired. So, I paid for the download of X5 but I cannot find the icon in the drop down list? I may have deleted it at some point but there is nothing in the recycle bin.
I was able to use the capture tool..and I think i can show the list in question..but I am totally new to using capture. Ok..how do I include in this message anything that I "captured"?
After Update 2 and Hotfix 1 (I haven't noticed after which of them exactly it happened) some options in X6, when they are active, are receiving some grey-pink background together with the small icon near them - for example Object position, Object size, Angle of rotation and others. You will see them when you select some object.
In the same color are also some items in the menus without obvious principle. I don't think that this is intentional. Or I cannot see it?
When I loaded some photo actions into my new PSE11 it show only a generic icon in the effects palette, not the icon from the maker so it takes extra time to search for the action I need. How can I get the icon from the maker to show as the icon in the palette?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using an iMac, OS 10.7.5 and PS CS6. When I save an image file from PS CS6 into Finder, the image icon looks like the image on the left in the attached photo. Before I take the image to PS CS6 and add any changes the icon looks like the image on the right. All I did to the image on the left before saving was to make a very brush tool stroke. Both images are jpeg format.
The image on the right has a "frame" around it while the one on the left does not. Is the OS operation system or Photoshop software changing the appearance of the new icon (after save) on the left, without the "frame".
Recently, some of my folders in Bridge CS3 have had images replaced by DNG icons. Other folders still okay. Not sure how to go about getting things back to images in folders like before.

What is the significance of the changes to the cursor in the following circumstances:-
1.In timeline the 4 headed arrow changes to a white pointer just above the timeline with a small icon behind it and the timecode shows
2.When moved to the ruler, it changes to a double headed arrow with another icon next to it
Okay so I am able to create these really great looking icons, and I usually create them at 160h x 480w.
Now what I want to do is shrink them down to actual icon size like 16x48. But the thing is they look like crap when I shrink them down.
First and foremost I am a programmer not a designer. But does anyone know any tutorials on how to make small *crisp* icons? I just dont understand how to make small icons that look decent.
I am very framiliar with photoshop (several years worth) Not so much illustrator.... but this small sized image issue is giving me a real headache any suggestions?
Can someone please resize this to 32*32 and make it a .ico file.
