I am to find a way to put the object origin icon on the commands bar, it relocate, move and align objects easily. I can find it in the transformation docker but the icon will be easier for me to use.

i can't move any object from the origin, every thing i create, create it self in the senter of the scene and i cant move and rotate, they just get stuck. i reinstall max 3 times this morning and the error continues... i dont know what else do...
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn 3DS MAX 2011 my transform gizmo jumps to the origin every time I go into sub-object mode making it very difficult to edit. I have been through the help file looking for fixes without success. I have major deadlines to meet this week and this is severely hampering progress. How to reset the gizmo? When I pick an object the gizmo is in its proper location, it's only when I go to sub-object mode that it leaps away to the origin.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to be able to measure objects from their top left position in relation to the x - y position. It appears that I can measure from the centre of objects but that makes the x-y co-ordinates something other than 0.
I can also measure objects from an x-y of 0 but then the object co-ordinates are x0-y0 regardless of where it is on the page.
In Illustrator you can elect to measure from top left to bottom right of an object including the middle nodes in relation to the x-y (wherever you set it), I am sure this must be possible but how.
The problem is that AutoCAD 2010, does not recognize any object snap commands, all the other comands work just fine.
I have reinstalled the program and don´t work.
What could be?
I have a patern, I need to move, I know in advanced I can more it with Origin, but I have to close and open the window.

I've created a simple graph of an area painted with some transparency in Origin Pro 9.1(such as this: URL..... and copied and pasted it on a blank CorelDraw X6 file. The area in the embedded image looks checker board pattern, not transparent as in the original image.
The problem appears to be within CorelDraw, as the embedded link to Origin software works fine, and an embedded image of the same graph in Microsoft PowerPoint looks just fine.I've tired combinations of earlier Origin versions (9.0, 8.5) , CorelDrawX3, XP and Windows7(32bit, 64bit). All failed.
I just got a new computer at work and am working with Corel X5. I upgraded from X2 to X5, so all of my files are X2 files. When I open a fairly large file on my new Dell with more ram etc. I have major problems with the program responding to commands. I really did not have many problems in Corel X2 on a 7 year old Dell computer. Problems are:
1. Takes forever to open the file.
2. When it finally opens it take anywhere for 30 seconds to two or more minutes to respond to a command i.e. move an object, deleting an object, editing text and so on so I am waiting for each command I make.
We are still on Windows XP Professional in our office – could that have anything to do with the problem. Corel is the only problem I am having problems with. Dell Optiplex 790

There is some random block in my drawing that has a random 3D UCS icon attached to it. When I mouse over it, it highlights a little orange square on the UCS.
What the heck is this thing and how do I get rid of it?
I made a drawing where there is is a complex part dimensioned. For this part there is also a .dxf drawing of the unfold contour.
I want to add a link to this .dxf so the person on the CNC can quickly open it. But, when I display as icon I still get a the full drawing.

If there is a way to create a new command under the customization tab. The reason I ask is that I use the line color 100% black, 30% Black (It is in the commands already) and red. I want to create a new outline command for the color red so that I can use a shortcut key.

So far I have found nothing that allows me to Modify Text."To Replace Existing Dimension Text With Alternate Text" it says to "Click Modify menu > Object >Text >Edit." The only Modify menu I can find is the Modify menu at the top showing 12 icons then it's drop down showing 14 more icons. There is no Object icon in that menu. how to Modify Text in LT2013.

Select all shapes
Run Arrange->Shaping->Back Minus Front
However, this just results in this comment being recorded: "Recording of this command is not supported: ShapingCommand"
How to call the shaping commands from VBA? I've dug through offline and online documentation and have come up with nothing.

View 1 Replies View Related1, the commands DO work if the text is confined to just ONE page, even if there are multiple linked text frames.
2, it's only the Copy command that doesn't work. Once copied, text does paste irrespective of the amount of text or linked pages.
And do I have to wait for 6.3 to get a resolution ? On Win 7, 64 bit
Currenty I have my X6 installed on 2 systems. The first time, I installed in on my desktop to test it out, then I installed it on my laptop.
When I have Draw open on the desktop, The little green icon in the bottom left is there and shows tha I am signed in. However, when I am on my laptop, the icon is not thre at all. When you go to the help button and look - it says "sign out" which would indicate that I am signed in...

On my Desktop I use a custom icon for CDSG X6 (original version is similar to X5 and sometimes causes visual confusion).
But I have not figured out how to customize the icon on the Taskbar.

View 15 Replies View RelatedResizing objects is a mess in CorelDRAW X6 when objects are outlined with Scale With Object enabled to retain proportions after resizing.
None of the tools dealing with outlines (e.g. Contour or even Outline itself) continue to work properly after resizing the object.
I strongly suggest to recalculate outline property values after resizing if Scale With Object is checked. Don't just do it hidden somewhere internally in the object model by applying a temporary scaling factor. Instead actually recalculate the actual property values if Scale With Object is checked.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to exclude single attributes from being defined in a object style? As example: i want to define an outline that does not change width of the objects, but everything else.
There is a small tick box right of every attribute with help text "None this object attribute is not defined by a custom style" but i can not mark it. My feeling is, that i need to switch on this tick box to get the result i need, but i can not. When i click on it, it just gives me a greyed out "Revert". When i try to make child styles, there is a way to break the connection to parent style with these tick boxes, but no luck.
Is it a bug? I tried it with X6, X6.1 and X6.2

Trim the master object and the cloned object gets deleted.The master object cannot be directly trimmed, so I grouped it with another object, which seems to enable the shaping tools. check if this behavior exists in X5 also.
I have inserted a clip about the problem. Maybe other users and the Corel staff will check it out.
