Photoshop Elements :: Entering Text Into Image But Letters Are Surrounded By Moving Selection Dashes
Dec 2, 2012When I enter text into an image, the letters are surrounded by the moving selection dashes, the font colour is not there, the image turns a strange red colour and I cannot get rid of the selection dashes.

Photoshop :: Type Tool Shows A Square Dot / No Text CC
Jun 21, 2013Installed CC a few days ago and appeared to work fine. Presents and Plugins up and running. Did the update that showed up already too. Tried to use the type tool for a customer project last night and it won't work. I just get a square black dot and no text appears, nor a text box. Use a MacBook Pro 17" with Mountain Lion.

Jul 20, 2012It was working fine. Â Then I just did a simple command (pattern a part) and the entire workspace blinked out. Â The first time it happened I hit UNDO and it was back. Â So I got out of the drawing and got back in and tried the pattern again. Same issue but this time when I hit UNDO it would not come back. Â I closed the file without saving and when I went back in the file the workspace is still nothing but white screen. Â In the browser everything is still visible except for those that I had already changed to invisible. Â I tried making an invisible to visible and nothing happened. Â I got out and tried opening the "old version" which should've been before any of this happened and it is also blank. Â I can go to an ipt or iam in the browser and hit open and it will open in another screen just fine. Â I just can't see my main assembly. Â I have Inventor 2012. Â It shows no errors or messages. Â I have even rebooted. Â
I looked thru the forum and found a past issue back in 2005 identical. Â I tried doing Find in Window on an item in the browser but for some reason that option is not even in the list when I right click.

The letter 'k' is a lot smaller for some reason, when in fact all the elements have the same font size.

The svg looks right to me, and not sure why this happens in Illustrator...but I'm not an expert on svgs and may be wrong.

May 5, 2011I am working with Autocad Map 3D 2009. Â I just recently switched computers and I put all my custom shapes into the correct folder on my new computer (program files/autodesk/support) and my acad.lin in the correct folders. Â My custom complex linetypes were then working just fine. Â
Today, I open the drawing and all my custom complex linetypes are now dashed. Â I've checked my shape locations, I've checked my msltscale and my psltscale, tried reloading the linetype (it reloads and doesn't give me an error message about it being invalid). Â Why are my linetypes doing this???

May 3, 2012Is there anyway to line up the dashes of overlapping polylines so that when I have 2 or more dashed polylines on top of each other the polyline will still looks dashed. Because at the moment the dashes don't line up and the polyline appears as a solid line where they overlap.

AutoCAD .NET :: Block Created And Inserted Shows Text Entities At Origin
Aug 30, 2012I've written a method that creates a block definition and inserts one instance the newly created block definition.  The block is comprised exclusively of lines and text entities.  When the method is completed, all entities appear correctly on my machine.
However, when other users try to run the routine on their machines, the lines appear correctly but the text entities all appear positioned at the block insertion's origen. Â And the other users must manually regen the drawing after the command is run to trigger the text entities to move (or appear to move) into their proper location.
 Though it wasn't necessary on my machine, I tried adding the following line as the last instruction in my command-method:
 _drawing.Editor.Regen();
 But even that last line's programmatically-triggered regen didn't solve the text location issue for my users.  They still have to manually regen.
I also ensured that all (or most) of a test user's system variables were set to the same values that I use (via Express Tools export & import). Â But that didn't work either.

Aug 1, 2013I have a drawing with two viewports. One needs to show topography. The other does not. When I freeze the surface layer in the second viewport, the contour lables leave behind a dash. It's on layer 0 so I can't VP freeze without losing other things.Â
Where do these dashes come from? They aren't a visible part of the contour label. They only show up when the surface is on a frozen layer. The only purpose they serve is to show where a contour label would be if the surface wasn't frozen.

Dec 18, 2012Just installed acr7.3 and cs6. I have previously saved jpgs but wanted to play with POSSIBLE settings in the new ACR. Ok so I make some changes and only say DONE.. I do not open and resave. Going back to Bridge.. the preview now shows me the 'new' acr tweaked version and that jpg will NOT open in CS6 again without going through bridge to apply the tweaks I made.

Problem is, the jpg itself is still saved the OLD way and I want that version back. How do I get the bridge to show the saved jpg that I have, once I play with it in acr??

Jun 27, 2009I'm trying to buy some software that you can build a photo slideshow on (that's the easy bit), but the one main feature I want is the ability to tick a box and the photos change in time with the beat of the music. Now before one of you clever people suggest that most softwear does this..... they don't. What most of them do is change the duration of your slideshow to match the length of your selected music, so they all end together. I want that, but also want the photos to move and change to the 'beat' of the track. I know that I could do this manually on a timeline, but this is very time consuming and hence the ticky box option,
