you know if it's possible to scale a image in differente sizes automatic. f.e. I have a image 1200x2000 an I would like to get 3 new images like 800x1000, 500x700 and 350x500 AUTOMATIC and without programming. It would be possibe with photoshop?
View 1 RepliesI have a series of triangles along a curved path in Illustrator CS6 (mac, if that makes a difference). I want to make the triangles large as the approach the middle of the path, and smaller towards the ends. The triangles' lower-most corner must remain locked to the path. I've tried pattern brushes, but not only do they distort the triangles, but there's also no way to scale the triangles reliably (to my knowledge).

Some are verticle and some are horizontal and even those arent all the same size. However, 99% are 768 high. I am using solidworks, creating a sheet, all line thicknesses are changed to 0.05mm and then exporting the sheet as .AI. Every drawing I create is saved using identical settings.Out of say 10 only 3 of them are okay and can be edited as vectors. The rest seem to turn themselves into a series of images.

Then I want to add a 15 degree rotation for each new image. The problem is that every time I select the rotate tool and click on the image to enter the value, the sphere is moved slightly.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I was oot and aboot yesterday and I took a series of pictures of a drummer in action. It was a rapid series, like five pictures covering five seconds of him rocking out. I want to combine all those five pictures into one ... "master" picture. My idea for the "master" picture is one single picture, where you can see his arm and body movements (and the drum cymbals moving) from all the five pictures.
That's probably a terrible way of describing it, but that's what I want to do.... I tried layering the pictures together as overlays, but while that combined all the images together, the end result was too blurry to make anything out.
I'm using a Javascript that will export as JPG a series of images from an AI file (that part is working fine), then rename them (that part isn't working). Writing and troubleshooting with Extendscript.
Trying to eliminate as many possible places to go wrong, I came up with the following:

myfile.rename(newName);
When run targeting Illustrator, it does nothing.
When run targeting ExtendScript, for some reason this blasts the file into oblivion, never to be found again.
I have a series of images taken with different settings and I want to quickly compare them at 1:1 in different areas of the image, center and corners. I have discovered that if I select the series I want to examine and then go to the first image and zoom that image to the position that I wish to when I use the arrow keys to move to each subsequent image will be shown zoomed into the same position
If I don't ever go to any of the other images and zoom anywhere this works just fine. The zoom location is remembered just for the first image. However, if i accidentally or deliberately zoom on one of the other images it will remember that zoom location forever which breaks the technique described above.
how to remove the remembered zoom location from an image like it is when you first import it into LR?
I'm sure I had linetype scaling updating automatically after a change of viewport scale - perhaps it was a previous release of AutoCAD. Why must I now keep pressing REGENALL to update the linetype scale?

When doing architectural photography, its often desired to have motion blur on the people so as to obscure their faces. Unfortunately it needs to look realistic, and I've just been doing it by hand, but it seems like there should be an automatic way when you have two images like this:
Obviously I am able to do this by hand somewhat decently, but that's not what I'm after. I want a way to do automatic motion blur, and I want the trails to look realistic.
I have found that the filter makes automatic changes to images. For example, if I correct a vignette with no sturctural sliders touched, then save the setting, the image appears in my editing window signifcantly altered with altered barrel configurations. So, I have to redo and compensate or just forget about it. This is not a problem with an image I want to correct--architectural, for instance. But, who wants to start fixing issues that the software is creating? I would like to disable this but have not found a setting yet.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI shot photos of some really hot poses, and i have enough body shapes to create lettering. I did not plan to do this so all of the pictures have a BG only 10 are on a solid BG(background). I can get the image out of the BG so thats not a problem.
I plan to do a colr overlay version of each body shape and then i need to vectorize as this will be coming from a 1920x 1080 photo and will be eventually on a 12ftx8ft poster.In the past the vectorization of these images has lead to a lot of clean up as they seem to distort more than organic made shapes. These images are of the female body and the models were picked because they had hyper curves.
So what is the best way to get these images to become a shape that will proportionately scale to nearly 800%.?
I have many images that I need to change the color mode to gray scale - is there a way to do this fast, other than opening each image and changing its mode to gray scale?
I would also love to be able to change the image sizes all at once - any way to do that?
i am finding that i sometimes have a need to crop a couple of images from something like an architectural line drawing. this means that i have lines in this drawing and i am oftentimes in need - for instance if i have copied two floor plan with one above the other - of having these images sit in a frame that is the SAME SIZE.
i am also in the need of cropping so that the resulting images are ALIGNED - with for instance one line in one image at the same spot at the bottom and to the left with the same amount of bleed area around the image both at this point and at all other points.
is there a way to crop an image in two different spots at the SAME SIZE?
is there a way to crop a "sloppy" copy of two sets of images so that the canvas is the same size but the resulting set of images are aligned in the manner described above?
ALSO, is there some way for me to SCALE a set of images in Photoshop?
I do not get the same results with grayscale images reproduced as halftones. While they are not true grayscale prints, the inkjet prints of grayscale images that I print from Photoshop always look good.
However when I see the final publication 20-30% of the halftone images will look dull. Is there some way to better visualize with Photoshop what a grayscale image will look like when printed in halftone?
I want to scale down a set of 125 images. Is there another way to do this other than one at a time?

View 3 Replies View RelatedCS5.5 or CC – I have experienced several times that flat grayscale imaged - corrected and nice in PhotoShop turns up much too dark when placed in InDesign.
I make sure no effect or colors are applied to the frame or picture, but still no effect.
If I force transparency on the actual spread (by placing two white items on top of each other, the topmost multiplied on the master page) then it looks correct at once.
It makes no difference if it is a flat grayscale jpg or a psd, even a psd with a white background turns out this way.
I'm using two small (JPG)images in a sketched symbol. But when I place the sketched symbol on a drawing, with another scale than 1 : 1, the images won't scale with it. For example, the images will remain outside the sketched symbol when scale is 1 : 2.
How can I make sure the images inside the sketched symbol scale with the symbol?

I'm trying to import some JPEG images into illustrator to add a very simple vector graphic over the top of some of them. The prolem is that when I import the images the don't appear at the same resolution as they should be. The images are all 600px x 400px 72dpi but when I import them into illustrator the software is readinig them (via the w & h dimensions in my illy browser) as 144px x 96px. The odd thing is that when I export them from Illustrator they're showing as 600x400px images again. Is this somethign to do with my import settings or preferences?

I am a Media teacher having to use this software with the class and they must have high production values for their controlled assessment. The problem is that the photos were taken under a tree so the lightning was partly shady, partly bright and with different photos being shot at slightly different locations and positions I get hughly varying results when adjusting the photos individually.

I will test Photoshop CS 6 in my Windows x64 System. First I´ve got a Matrox P690 graphic card, but it won´t run with OpenGL 2.0. So I bought a new MATROX M9120 Plus x1 card in hope it will work fine with Photoshop. But the GPU OpenGL with rotation tool or other things won´t work, because the card seems to be not verified by Photoshop CS6. The drivers are the newest WDDM certified Matrox drivers from December 2012.
