Photoshop :: Placing Text On Right Bottom Of Series Of Images
Jun 6, 2009
I want to place text in the bottom right of a series of images. The problem is not all images are the same size. Some are verticle and some are horizontal and even those arent all the same size. However, 99% are 768 high. How do I specify a certain margin from right and bottom so I can use the text action on all images regardless of image width?
you know if it's possible to scale a image in differente sizes automatic. f.e. I have a image 1200x2000 an I would like to get 3 new images like 800x1000, 500x700 and 350x500 AUTOMATIC and without programming. It would be possibe with photoshop?
I have a job to photograph 300 items and use lightroom to number each one with its own product code.
Then I need to add the barcodes to the images so the client can scan them They have a spread sheet with all the data on but can a sript be written to do this action ???
I am looking for an action or preferably a way to create one, that takes a GIF file with multiple images (=animation) and puts all images side by side and saves it.
I have been working on a series of drawings for a catalogue. I am using solidworks, creating a sheet, all line thicknesses are changed to 0.05mm and then exporting the sheet as .AI. Every drawing I create is saved using identical settings.Out of say 10 only 3 of them are okay and can be edited as vectors. The rest seem to turn themselves into a series of images.
I want to export a series of images from a video, but only, say, one frame every three or four seconds. One out of every 90 to 120 frames of the video. Can this be done in AE, or do I need to do this in another CC program?
I'm trying to create a series of sphere images that are to be used as an animation, whereas in my case I have a transparent background layer and a layer containing a sphere. Then I want to add a 15 degree rotation for each new image. The problem is that every time I select the rotate tool and click on the image to enter the value, the sphere is moved slightly.
So I was oot and aboot yesterday and I took a series of pictures of a drummer in action. It was a rapid series, like five pictures covering five seconds of him rocking out. I want to combine all those five pictures into one ... "master" picture. My idea for the "master" picture is one single picture, where you can see his arm and body movements (and the drum cymbals moving) from all the five pictures.
That's probably a terrible way of describing it, but that's what I want to do.... I tried layering the pictures together as overlays, but while that combined all the images together, the end result was too blurry to make anything out.
I'm using a Javascript that will export as JPG a series of images from an AI file (that part is working fine), then rename them (that part isn't working). Writing and troubleshooting with Extendscript.
Trying to eliminate as many possible places to go wrong, I came up with the following:
myfile = new File; myfile = myfile.openDlg(); var newName = "NEW.ai"; myfile.rename(newName);
When run targeting Illustrator, it does nothing.
When run targeting ExtendScript, for some reason this blasts the file into oblivion, never to be found again.
I have a series of images taken with different settings and I want to quickly compare them at 1:1 in different areas of the image, center and corners. I have discovered that if I select the series I want to examine and then go to the first image and zoom that image to the position that I wish to when I use the arrow keys to move to each subsequent image will be shown zoomed into the same position
If I don't ever go to any of the other images and zoom anywhere this works just fine. The zoom location is remembered just for the first image. However, if i accidentally or deliberately zoom on one of the other images it will remember that zoom location forever which breaks the technique described above.
how to remove the remembered zoom location from an image like it is when you first import it into LR?
How can i export a series of images in different aspect ratios to the same height?
I wish to make a slider callery for my website. all the images need to be 750 Pixels high, the width does not matter. I have a mixture of square pandscap and protraite images can i do thing as one export or do i have to do it twice? Once for long edge and once for shot edge?
I created a shape with text in it to be used as a watermark and want to use it on different images, however, the images will have different sizes after they get cropped.
How can I position the watermark in the same place on all my images regardless of image size?.
When opening several images in photoshop CS4 I would the images to float on screen, that is to say not to place the images stacked. I currently have to go to window in the menu and select float all in window every time. Can a default be selected that opens them and displays them floating.
I'm using an iMac and Illustrator CC. I created a text area box. I want to place text from an outside Word document into the area box. When I go to File>Place and locate the text file, I click on Place. When I'm returned to my Illustrator CC document, the original area box is deselected and my cursor is loaded and ready for me to drag out a new area box. Shouldn't the placed text fill the original area box?
I have this problem in CS5 that any type of image or line art are always blurry. All my work is for print and perhaps just the preview is blurry but I am afraid that printing will be bad.
Most graphics I bring in are from Photoshop CS5. I make sure they are 300DPI to start and recently learned they should not be in RGB mode but CMYK.
The images I should also mention when placed are very small and I have to scale them to be the correct size. I do not know why they do not place as their original size. So basically it is small size and blurriness.
placing text on a sphere. I've seperated a golf ball from a different picture and would like to place text on it, any ideas on making it look as if it was there when the picture was taken?
I wanted to copy some text from open office into a new page in Photoshop cs3. I know you have to treat the text first, but how? I need to edit it in Photoshop.
I tried to use Acrobat and convert the text to a PDF, but the PDF couldn't be edited after I pasted it into a Photoshop page.
There's a way to do this in Illustrator, I think. but I couldn't find it. And maybe HTML would work.
I've been placing photoshop tiff files into Illustrator, and doing this seems to change the color values, when I sample them with the eyedropper tool. The images I made use a custom mix of CMYK rich black, with the K set to 100. In Illustrator, they appear to revert to the default 'Photoshop black", approx C75 M68 Y67 K90. This is not my intent of C70 M60 Y58 K100. The Illustrator document is CMYK mode, and I don't know why this is happening. The non-image items (vectors) in my illustrator file DO retain the color values I intended, however.
Is this some kind of setting I can change in Illustrator? Will this discrepancy show up when this file goes to print?
I recently placed text on an arc in Photoshop and found that it appears to stretch the text as well. I placed the same text on a circle in Illustrator and then placed it on top of the text in Photoshop. When the two lines of text were then made to have letters of the same height, the letters were not the same width (Photoshop letters were wider). Illustrator appears to maintain the aspect ratio of each letter when placing text on a curve while Photoshop does not.
Is this known to happen? Is there a way to place text on an arc in Photoshop that does not distort/deform the letters of the text in any way other than to place them on an arc?
I'm placing screen captures (screen images from software) in my artwork files to add callouts and create illustrations for a user manual.
The machine I'm capturing on has a screen resolution set at 1920 x 1080 (required for software). I'm using Snagit and capturing the screens, saving files, then placing in Illustrator. I've been using images minimum 300 dpi and never upsizing in Illustrator. Still I think my results could be better.
In the past I've used .jpg as my export filetype for placing into Illustrator. But, recent reads of postings in this community lead me to believe my practice might be flawed.
Question: What is considered best practice for placing images from screen capture (or any source) in Illustrator? What file type from capture will get me the clearest and most adaptable results?
My Illustrator file color mode is CMYK and my other art and callouts supporting the screen cap are working great.
I'm creating the artwork for import to Framemaker and creating a PDF for online and print.
Place fxg images in illustrator using applescript or actionscript? We spent a ton of time trying to troubleshoot it today and counldnt figure out why, but we couldnt seem to place them on a page. That and symbol scripting has been pretty tough to find any reference or examples of scripts.
is there any possibility in GIMP to align a text not vertically at the bottom of a text box (there are options for left, right, center and fill but that's only the horizontal alignment). The motivation is, that I change a text in an image quite often and it whould "align itself" if it whould always be aligned at the bottom of the textbox.
I'm trying to fade text from top to bottom using a path I have always followed, but isn't working now:
1. Select the layer the text is on 2. Create Fill or Adjustment Layer > select Gradient from the drop-down menu 3. Click on the Gradient bar to bring up the options 4. Adjust opacity, direction, colour > OK
When I create the Fill or Adjustment layer and select Gradient, the gradient is applied to the whole document rather than just the text on the layer I've selected.
My text is white against a blue background..I have tried selecting the gradient "Foreground to Transparent", but can't get past the stage where that is applied to the whole document.
I want to ultimately place some metadata such as lens focal length, time of day, exposure etc. onto an image. This could be an action that perform on each image. But it would be nice if it was automatic.
The result being to have a jpg file with this information in the corner of the image for myself and my client's reference. I can't seem to find either a plugin, action or script that will do this for me. These are simply proof / scouting shots. I would be just as happy doing this in Lightroom as well.
I need step by step gradient text instructions for Photoshop WITH TWO CUSTOM COLORS GOING FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.
How do I (instead of using the preset color choices) make a custom gradient? I am trying to create text with a top to bottom gradient of green (#228B22) down to aqua (#40E0D0).
