I downloaded a webtemplate for Dreamweaver. They have some mouse over buttons that I would like to change. What font did they use? Could someone give some tips? I know Photoshop a bit if that is what is needed. (Guess I don't know PS that well if I can't do it.) I attached both buttons.
How can I set up the two side mouse buttons on my Microsoft mouse (used to go back and forward on web pages) to be the Zoom in and Zoom out functions in Photoshop CS?
As the topic states, I would like to assign hotkeys to mouse buttons. I attempted to do so, but when I use a mouse button for a hotkey it does not register within the customize user interface menu.
My mouse has a lot of extra buttons on it, and I've set up Maya to open different marking menus when using those buttons. In order to use those marking menus, I have to hold down the extra button and then left-click. Is there a way I can set up the marking menus to open without left-clicking?
I have acad 13 installed on an asus laptop. I wanted to do some serious work last night so I plugged in the mouse to the usb port. Doing my usual quick clicking, anytime i was "inside the dwg" like say select or pick a point on the screen, i needed a second pick to do anything. Same with rt click for return. picking a menu item or dropdown or button works fine, "outside the dwg".
Noticed that a slow deliberate click seems to work.I reloaded the asus mouse driver, no dice.I took a 10 year logitech old mouse out, same problem. This problem does not occur using the pointing/click device built into the laptop. Is there something that is looking at the duration of my click in acad? in asus computer ?
I recently had to reinstall LR 4.2 due to a hard drive failure. Previously, I could cycle through my photos by using the forward or reverse buttons on the side ofmy Microsoft mouse. Now I cannot. How can I get LR to respond again? I have set the mouse to 'enable program specific settings'
I purchased an Inland rf 5 button mouse to use for the F4 rotate and F5 view return. The three programmable buttons work in LT and other programs, but not in inventor 5.3. Is there a setting I am missing? I have the latest driver for the mouse installed and as I said it works well in other software.
The mouse vendor says it's Inventor, not the mouse.
I have a Logitech M510 wireless mouse, and it works fine for everything, Firefox horizontally scrolls just fine with the tilt-wheel, and the forward and backward buttons on the mouse function as well. But not in GIMP.
I'm running an HP laptop with Windows 7, and GIMP 2.8.
I tried binding brush size decrease/increase to left/right scroll in the mouse wheel input and nothing happens. Then I restarted GIMP from a terminal with --verbose and told the wheel input to dump events and the only ones printed were scroll up/down. Curious, I enabled the dump for the mouse buttons input as well, and the back/previous buttons also don't generate events.
Because it works fine in other applications and because it generates no events in GIMP
I am trying to make a logo button for my site, but unfortunately I have no idea what font to use for the logos. I have attached some examples and was hoping that I could get some help.
I have two menus that I use often and I would like to add them to my mouse buttons. Attached is a picture of the two menus I like and the two buttons. The Shift + Click has the correct menu already (Osnap menu2) my problem is adding my custom menu to the CTRL + Click doesn't work. I labeled Osnap Menu 1 and 2, 1 being the custom menu I have use in the past and 2 being the default osnap menu that comes with the cui file. How to get the second button to read my menu rather than both read the same osnap 2 menu?
how to turn off the mouse function when the mouse cursor moves over a feature, such as an edge, point, or surface, and highlights it. I don't want it highlighting the features automatically. I want it to highlight once I click over a feature. My colleagues and I are very distraught by this feature, and will be discontinuing our use of your products that do not allow us to turn this feature off. I'm not sure why you'd want to weed your customer base like this, assuming that I can't turn this option off from the research I've done pouring through the hundreds of complaints related to this issue. I haven't been able to find any posts recently, or regarding Inventor 2013 specificially on this issue, so I was hoping this version had the option of turning it off. Does any of Autodesk's software, such as AutoCAD, have the option of turning it off?
I followed the tutorial on this page: [URL]. However, my animation auto plays and mousing over has no effect. I have searched and sreached to no understandable (to me) avail. Here's a link to the file: [URL]
I tried Nexus font (finally) and don't see why people have mentioned it. I don't like it and uninstalled it quickly.Which font manager do you think is better than Font Nav?
I've a problem with "DWGtoPDF"-Plotter of Acad2013. I give the textstyle "arial" in Acad and plot it to PDF. In the PDF-Sheet i see the Fontname "ArialMT" in the document-options. I want to give the PDF's away and fear, that he gets an error while opening.
I'm creating a new website header and I have created a new button for my nav bar. I'm clicking ctr + alt + shift and clicking and dragging and dropping the new buttons across. Is there a way to exactly keep the same distance between the buttons? Right now I'm trying to judge it by eyesight.
creating a rollover button for a website that Im creating. Ive attached the first image needed to create the rollover. Please open it up and take a look at it. As you can see the button is extruding out of the image. What I want to do is wen you click the link that the button will pushed down, or embossed if you will. Im not sure anymore how to make this effect. I dont think the emboss filter or blending options can create an effect like this but if any of you have any idea how to create this effect (of the button being pushed down when you click the link) ...
I am trying to make buttons that look like epaulettes from 1700-1800 military uniforms. They need to be colourful with like braided edges. I ahve tried many different ways but all to no decent outcome.
I am trying to make buttons on PS. I am very new to this. I am taking a class in DW and didn't know that PS was going to be used so I didn't learn it (so now I am trying to learn 2 software programs at same time).
I am trying to make buttons for a site redesign project for class. I figured out how to make the layer, put the name (eg. Home, About Us, etc) and do drop shadows, bevel etc. The problem is when I do that it only makes these changes over the text. I cannot figure out how to make a box around the text, and make that box a button. It is frustrating. I have tried so many different things.
I need create 2 buttons on bitmap image, both in the bottom, aligned horizontally. It will be hotspot areas, and work as action buttons in autorun. Then i need to determine the X,Y coordinates of the upper left hand corner, the Width, and the Height of each hotspot area in the bitmap. The image area where buttons will be placed is white(transparent), so i want just image style buttons - integrated into the background image, or windows style buttons. How to make buttons for my bitmap?
Ok I am having trouble following the tutorial below for glass buttons. So I googled "photoshop glass buttons" and found this tutorial Now I completed it fine and I think it is amazing. But I am wanting to make rectangle buttons. I have tried 6 other tutorials and followed them word for word and none of the buttons came out right. So I attempted to do the one I pasted above but using rectangle marquee tool. Except when I fill the space it doesnt have a solid edge around.
I was wondering if anyone could simplify or possibly show me a good tutorial for making rectangle glass effect buttons that definatley works.
After opening a file from another designer, this Chinese font has taken over my "omens – regular" font file. Anytime I use it, it converts to this font and each time I need to change a font weight, I must do it manually. As you can imagine, I use our company font all day so this slows me down quite a bit. Have you heard of this? It seems like some sort of font virus. I've researched removing it, yet can't seem to find the original font file to get rid of, which is even weirder."
We tried moving the font family to the trash, emptying the trash, rebooting the machine, and re-adding the font family and it still is happening.
I had posted in another thread about wanting to clean up a signature and make it look more font like. I tried that and it seemed to be pretty difficult due to the amount of random in a hand written signature.
So I think I'd like to approach this from the other direction. I have a font I like but I don't want it to look like the font (way too common). Is there a way to alter the font (not the entire font set or even to create a new font but just for a one word Logo)?
I'd ideally like to connect two of the letters and also modify the shapes of the letters just a bit.
Is there a way to specify a given system font that should be substituted for a given missing font? For example, the document I'm working with contains CourierStd and CourierStd-Bold which are not installed on my system. I would like to set Illustrator so that any time a document that contains these fonts is opened, Courier New and Courier New Bold are substituted automatically.
