I have two menus that I use often and I would like to add them to my mouse buttons. Attached is a picture of the two menus I like and the two buttons. The Shift + Click has the correct menu already (Osnap menu2) my problem is adding my custom menu to the CTRL + Click doesn't work. I labeled Osnap Menu 1 and 2, 1 being the custom menu I have use in the past and 2 being the default osnap menu that comes with the cui file. How to get the second button to read my menu rather than both read the same osnap 2 menu?
I use the right click as repeat last command a lot, but occasionally I need the shortcut menu and I have to go back and change my settings for right click.
What I would like to do is make Shift+Ctl+right click bring up the shortcut menu, but I cant seem to find it in the command list and when I do searches on google it just brings up stuff about adding an item to the shortcut menu.
Is there a way to make Shift+Ctl+right click bring up the shortcut menu?
I'm having trouble with my right click on my mouse. Until about a month or so ago my right click would bring up a short cut menu that inclided things like move, rotate, scale, copy. But now it includes none of those features.
I use cs2 and when in photoshop when i left click on any of the tools for instance the pen tool it brings up the menu to select pen tool, freeform pen tool, etc.. rather than just selecting it. I am use to having to right click on the the pen tool to get that menu, i was wondering how i would change it back. Same thing happens when i left click on all the tools on the tools menu, just used the pen tool as an example.
how to allow my right click mouse button to the function of the F3 key? I want to be able to draw, move, copy or whatever and mid-command be able to right click (on or off) the snap that are assigned to F3.
I am working on getting some settings done, moving from 2008 to 2012. How do you set the Middle Mouse Button (wheel) to either Zoom All or Zoom Extents when you double click it? I thought it was set in the Main CUI file.
I am using AutoCAD 2012 and I like right click menus.
If I use ctrl + right click, I get a menu with snap options, and if I use shift + right click, I get the same menu. How I can change one of these menus without the other is affected, and perhaps also how to get an alt + right click menu.
I have an inactive snap shortcut menu. When clicking shift + right mouse button the menu appears but when I typet
"E" for "ENDpoint", "M" for "Midpoint" or when I just click over the respective icons in the menu nothing really happens and I get the following message in the command bar:
"Command: _endp Unknown command "ENDP". Press F1 for help."
or
"Command: _mid Unknown command "MID". Press F1 for help."
I tried following, none of which worked:
1. resetting the main customization file ACA_Global.cuix
2. switching between different profiles and cuix files
3. reinstalling Autocad Architecture 2013
4. uninstalling and Installing Autocad Architecture 2013 service pack 1
5. installing older versions of Autocad (2008 and Architecture 2012)
6. reinstalling Windows 7 and installing Autocad Architecture 2013 again
I have recently downloaded the 2011 version of Maya for my mac. I have a single button mouse and, up to now, when I have needed to right-click I simply press ctrl and click the mouse. However, Maya is not allowing this so I cannot even start to learn the programme.
A while ago I found out you can deselect something from your current selection set by holding down the shift key and clicking on it. This was a pretty useful tool...but then it randomly stopped working today for me.
When moving the mouse over objects, the objects are automatically selected. Are there a way to disconnect that function, so the objects are not selected before I click the mouse?
Everyone so far in the office who is using 2013 has found that intermitently but fairly often (maybe 1 in 8 attempts) when clicking on a tool button it seems to take about 3-4 goes at clicking before the command kicks in, this is with any command and there are various versions of windows and mouse hardware involved.
I have 2010lt on Vista. Mouse is set to repeat last command on right click. When I right click to repeat break at point command, it will shorten the line every time. When I click the break at point icon it does not shorten line. I cant find a fix.
I have attached an image...but in 2013 we had an expanded Right Click shortcut menu...so if you clicked on a line for example it would give you alot of options...as you see in the image I do not have all those in 2014.
My "Shortcutmenu" is set to 11
Pickfirst is set to 1.
In CUI I do not see any seperate menus loaded under Shortcut.
I use Autocad 2011, I appear to have somehow messed up my right click short-cut menu settings. Before, I could right-click and get all of the edit options (delete, move, rotate, draw order, properties, select similar, etc.). I could get these options whether an object was selected or not. Now, my options are the "default" ones (Repeat, Pan, Zoom, Quick calc, etc, to name a few). This happened after I made an adjustment to the drawing in a viewport. Ie. I was in layout, clicked into model space to draw a line, then clicked back to paper space. I NEVER do this (I always switch back to model to edit), except for this one time. Also, if I select an object and hit "delete" on the keyboard, nothing happens. I've already tried adjusting the "shortcutmenu" command number, and nothing really changes in the shortcut menu itself. Also, when keying in a command, the keystrokes used to show up beside my cursor, but now they show only in the command line at the bottom. That's not really a big deal, but I did like the previous function.
PS CS5 crashes when I click on Photomerge from either PS or Bridge. It crashes every time. It doesn't amtter if I have preselected files or click Photomerge from within a blank document.
Laptop is a Dell XPS with plenty of free HDD and 8GB RAM.
Software:
PS CS5.1 x64 WIN7 Pro x64
All software was legally purchased through a registered Adobe dealer but Adobe won't assist me as they've shipped CS6.
I just got a new pc upgrade so I'm walking through everything to see if it all works. Now when I double click my mouse wheel, nothing happens where before it would zoom extents. I'm using a MS Wireless Mouse 5000 with AutoCAD 2013.
I played around with programming the mouse buttons directly, but I couldn't get it to work right. I don't see anything in AutoCAD about a setting for mouse wheel double click. All I see is that it just says that double clicking the mouse wheel should execute the zoom extents command.
I am developing a .NET application that integrates with AutoCAD Architecture. In my .NET application, I provide my user with a list of drawing files (.dwg) that they can choose to open. Once my user has selected a file, my application will open the selected drawing in AutoCAD Architecture. In this drawing, the user can click on an object in the drawing.
Can this mouse click event be captured and the object ID for the selected object be returned to my application?
If we run script then it should display 6 button along with ok, cancel button. If we click on button1 then the coding assciated with button1 should execute and so on.

Not sure what happened, but my right click short cut menu is no longer working. I have verified my right click customization under options and also confirmed that "pickfirst" is on. It was working and then just quite. I have restarted the computer several times but status remains unchanged.
When zooming, I middle click the mouse to bring up osnaps, then type the letter to force the snap I want. That stopped working today: the menu pops up, I type "E", the menu goes away, but it doesn't default to endpoint, there's an "E" on my command line.
I'm not sure if this is a Service Pack 1 issue or not, but I just installed that yesterday.
right clicking the mouse normally repeats the previous command. In this case I right click to repeat the "break at point" command. Instead of getting the break at point command, I always get the "break" command.
