Photoshop :: JPG Image Saved In CS4 Not Opening In
Jun 15, 2009
I have received images from my client which are edited & saved in CS4. But when i m trying to open these images in IE its not opening, but it is opening in Firefox. Wat is the solution for this?? I m here attaching a file in which i have shown the screenshot of IE and Firefox. And also the properties of images saved in CS3 and CS4.
I have a capstone lab project due tomorrow for my graphic arts class and I made a HUGE mistake!!! I created an image using 20 something layers and did SAVE AS as a .xcf image (with all layers open). Part of the project was to save in different formats: .xcf (with open layers), a .png, and a .jpeg (optimized). So, I did the first save and then flattened the image to SAVE AS a .png with a different file name.
Long story short, I was tired and had way too many images open at once. When I was closing all of the images I accidentally saved the changes (flatten image) to my original .xcf (with open layers)!!!! Now, my .xcf that is supposed to have open layers only has one layer...the finished project!! I tried going to the file properties to restore a previous version, but it says that no previous versions were found! I also downloaded a norton "unerase" utility, but maybe I am not scanning properly to locate the file!?!
I have Windows Vista (not sure if that makes a difference) and when I save jpegs as a new jpeg (or even if i just click 'save'), the new or improved jpeg does not show up in windows explorer. It's as if they don't even exist. However, I can find them if I open them through CS3. I've tried 'save as'. i tried saving as a copy, renamnig it, saving for web and devices as a jpeg, saving, yeah. And I'm not saving them as progressive jpegs, either.
I was trying to save a large file as a Photoshop PDF and my program crashed. I was lucky enough to have saved this file in both a JPEG and PNG format onto my desktop but now once I move the files back into Elements, I have no history and no layers?
When I open my .max file I always get the Missing External Files message: glare_streaks_star_camera_filter.tif. I've already tried to re-link it but where the .tif file is and why its added to my project..
I'm having some problems properly opening an Illustrator Template file in CS3 that I saved when I was using CS5 (I use CS6 now). My co-worker uses CS3 and can't open the template I made using CS5. I haven't found an option anywhere to be able to downsave the template file to an earlier version. allow my co-worker to open the template file without having any compatibility issues?
I have several book cover designs that I've been working on in CorelDraw saved as CDRs, but now when I go to open them, they open as CDRs in Corel Photo Paint, I don't understand why? I've tried the Open from File Menu and then Save As CDR , but it doesn't work either. Is it possible I clicked on something I shouldn't have? Also, I need to separate the background from one of the designs in bitmap, the image is as if its all grouped together and won't ungroup or let me edit it, I did not save in layers or masks (any other way I can still try and edit it?
When I open a drawing in Autocad 2014, the drawing name opens as drawing1 or drawing2, etc. Â The files have been saved with a drawing name, however when I open them after saving they open as a unsaved file.
When loading a previously saved item the preview shows the "complete job lot" however when you load the item it does not load the full drawing and is missing approx 3 hrs of work.
how to load the full document, I have tried the recovery manager which only loads the part document
Below is a picture of the preview working fine
Below is a picture of CAD not loading the full document up
Our company recently upgraded to the Creative Cloud, but our problem occurs with our customers who have yet to upgrade from CS5. We provide the files in PDF format, but unlike with .ai files, I can't find a way to save a PDF in CS6 making it fully compatible with CS5. It's of course possible to open the PDF in CS5, but the text gets fragmented into clusters of sometimes words, sometimes a few letters, which makes it unwieldy for customers who need to edit the original. Â Is there any way I can save a PDF in CS6 so it retains the text as in the original, when opened in CS5?
way of opening images in CS2 where after opening they will appear in the middle of the CS screen rather then in the top left corner? Â I can drag and maximize so they appear in the middle, but on reopening another image they default to the top left again, I would like them to always open in the middle?
I have cdx5 (fully patched) running on a windows 7 pro x64 machine (c++, directx, updates all current) that has an issue when saving a file to a mapped network drive. The file will save error free but when you try to open the file again at a later date it gives a c++ runtime error (this application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unexpected way).
If i save the file locally then move it to the network share it seems fine. It can be opened and edited with out issue.
CDx5 needs to save to the mapped drive as the server runs onsite and offsite backups. There is a large volume of files that are changed/created daily. Saving locally and then copied to the server manually is also not an option as the user cannot be relied upon to ensure the files are copied to the server.
I find when i open any file i have saved as an X6 file CorelDraw crashes ...the only way it works is if i open a blank template or older file (not saved in x6) first
I made this two different small project yesterday. Now, opening them and I see nothing in the content area and no time line at all, no assets or symbol shows. It is as a new satring file. I tried opening the html file as well but got the same result. I still can run the html file and see my project but can not open them in Animate and do any modification. Â I am on a Mac and installed all the software a few days ago.
When I open a .dwg file from a saved location auto cad crashes about 35% of the way through loading. I did not have this problem when I was running Windowws XP but now I am running Windows 7.
I am working on the following image but the image that I'm working with on the screen is not the same as the output after I save it. What is happening and how can I fix this?
(the images have been reduced in size and quality so this is for illustration only)
When I try to save my project as a jpeg or other, it always results in a different sized image from my project (e.g. an oval shape looks circular when saved). Could my image and canvas settings be bad (canvas size is 2880x1800)? How can I resolve this? I'm using CS4 on OSX10.5.8.Â
I have a psd file with about 14 layers, a few of which are hidden. I merge layers and then save as a high-resolution jpg. I then open up the jpg in photoshop and it looks just fine.
However, when viewed directly from my pc in a browser (MSIE 7 or Firefox 3.0.3, either stand-alone or in an html shell), the image has a discernable dark magenta hue.
Originally, I mistakenly had an extra channel in the PSD file that I thought was causing the problem. But it's removed yet the problem remains.
I also saved as a GIF and PNG and the problem remained.
I recently was editing a image on adobe photoshop 7.0 and I was doing a great job I was almost done (took me around 4hours to do) The problem I had was there was a thunder storm, so some how the power went on and off in my house so I think I lost everything Is there any way to get the edited image that was creating back? Like is there a auto save program that if your computer shuts down Instantaneously is auto saves for you, like on Microsoft office 2007 programs?
I've used photoshop to paint for many years (I'm a production artist for children's television) and never had this kind of thing before. It could be a total coincidence, but it seemed only to get like this since I upgraded to Production premium CS6.  I have the newest Nvidia drivers, the latest photoshop and production suite updates. I've tried turning off GPU acceleration and I've calibrated my monitors and cintiq several times using the Spyder 3 Elite calibration tools. I've created 8bit, 16bit and 32bit images and the problem persists no matter what. Other stats:  Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.0.1 (13.0.1 20120808.r.519 2012/08/08:21:00:00) x64 Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280M  This is a 16bit image saved as a jpeg, but still a relatively accurate example of what I see in photoshop. In fact it looks better here. It was created using a low opacity brush with hardness set to zero.
I've been having this problem for some time now. I edit my images and save them but the saved copies in their folders are always 1) darker and 2) with less color. However, when I put the images back into photoshop, they look as they did just before I saved them. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or what might be causing it?
Also, when I do a lot of editing in one go, I get a message that I'm running out of memory on my C drive, even though photoshop is installed on my much larger D drive.
Using Adobe Photoshop CS2. I'm noticing a color difference between an image I'm working on in PS and the final image - after it has been saved. Â For example: working on a image of earth. The image on the web has very deep blues. but when I open it into PS, it looks very purple-ish and when I save it, the color is blue again. Â Sometime the difference is slight, and other times it is definitely noticeable. Is there a setting I could adjust? One that would keep the image's true color?
When I create a new transparent image the image goes straight to layer 1 instead of background. When I save or flatten the image it has a white background instead of a transparent like it should.
