I always face problem with using pen tool to create smooth curves... specially when I give grediant to the shape or the background colour is some dark colour the crude edges of the shape are clearly visible..
can anyone give me a tip how to create smooth curved shapes with photoshop?
I am trying to create shapes in photoshop but they all seem to have rough edges. Is there a way around this? 1. I have been using the "rectangular marquee tool" to draw a square. 2. Filling it in with a color 3. Then to Edit > Transform > Skew. Then I pull in show corners, push some out. Now the edges look horrible.
I'm trying to make a logo composed of nothing but smooth curved thin lines, no filled shapes...I've been using the pen tool and then stroking the path with the brush tool but the line isn't quite as smooth as I'd like...
I created a path with Curves with the pen tool.filled it in with a color light blue.than I use the paint bucket to change it to dark blue. This is when the curved lines become jagged, not smooth, uneven.
I am attempting to redo this logo for a client and cannot seem to find a simple way of getting the circles to slightly get bigger each time and then follow an arc round.
I have tried messing with paths and then attempted to just do it manually/freehand but it just doesn't look right. Surely there must be a quicker simple way? Any ideas?
why is this happening, curved lines in Illustrator CS6 are not smooth. Running Ill-CS6 on Win7 machine. No matter how much you zoom in or out lines just don't look right.
When I have a cdr file and need to save it as a plt file for my plotter the saved file has several little straight lines to make a curve instead of one smooth curved line. This didn't start happening until I upgraded to Corel Draw x4.
I'm using the Pencil Tool to draw shapes (not good enough for the Pen Tool yet) and some of my paths are not as smooth as I'd like, so I go over them with the Smooth Tool, though it seems like it either smooths the path a little bit or completely changes its shape.
Trying to create smooth edges. I have been working on my own logo. I have C4 Photoshop (Web Prem). I have been creating circles on a transparent background. When I applied logo on one of my images I notice little white doted edges. I see little white dots. What is the best way to create clean edge on transparency backgrounds?
i use photoshop CS2. i would like to know how to create a curved gradient or fill gradient in a curved shape. the gradient should take the shape of the curved geometry.
how to accomplish creating a web optimized graphic with a smooth gradient using PS7.
it seems that you will not be able to generate such a graphic using the default settings in photoshop.
I am right now using the maximum number of colors allowable in the 'save for web' optimization tool (which is 256 for both jpg and gif apparently) I know JPGs are the file type for the job generally speaking, but without optimization the JPG is too large to use for a web page header.
I created the following image some time ago and can't remember how I created the lines.
I know that I definitely did not use the pen tool; it was some kind of tool where I could draw a straight line, and depending how far across the image the line was, the more round it became.
Essentially, it was like a line tool that would warp into curved lines.
I am using a very old version of Photoshop (i.e. Photoshop 6.0).If it is possible to create text along a curved path in Photoshop 6.0 (Windows)? If so, how?Note that I do not want to create wraped text (using Arc etc.).
Specifically, I want to type text along the lower half of a circular image.checked various blogs that show how to do that for more recent versions (or MAC version) of Photoshop.
I am attempting to create curved text in GIMP. Here are the steps which I complete:
1. Create a curved path 2. Type the text 3. Click text to path
This all works fine, except that it doesn't give me all of the text along the path. For example, if the text is supposed to read "Church-wide Picnic," it will only give me "Church-wide Pi."
I have created the path all the way across the screen and made the text as small as possible, and it still does this.
I am struggling to create a smooth transition between radii called out on a drawing. I am also unsure of how to create a flange on that edge of my part.
Here is the drawing and the model I have created so far.
I am trying to create a vignette on an image and find that when I use a brush with a fuzzy edge the result is not what I'm looking for. There are these circles that are left behind where there should be a smooth transition. (See Attachment)
I'm trying to create a curved "spectrum" of color to use behind the numbers on a gauge.I first tried a linear fill, going from green to red. It's easy, but it doesn't produce the yellow in the color transition.
Next, I tried placing swatches of colors and then using the arch as a mask ... but it would only pick up the solid colors, so there were no transitions. Is there a way to bend the straight color spectrum bitmap shown in the graphic?
I have attached an image of the chair i'm modelling, I need to create the back and seat but can't find a way of modelling the curve feature. I can create the oval shape and extrude to 3d, fillet the edges etc but can't curve it. I'm new to 3D Modelling
My question is how do I create text in a curved line? I have a circular logo which I want to have a curved line of text above and below. I can create the text OK but I can't see how to make it curved.
I am having trouble trying to make a curved window frame, I can't seem to think how I can offset or make a smaller version of the outline of the frame so that it can become a 3d solid.
The picture seen below was created using the arc and polyline tool, autocad won't let me join these lines either!
I've used Photoshop 5 for 14+ years now and was forced to switch to Photoshop Elements 11 when we installed new computers at work recently. It seems to be missing an important tool (for me) that I can't seem to find. I don't know the official name but I called it a "vector" tool. You could draw custom curved and straight lines between set points to create a unique shape. Does it exist or is there a newer way to do the same task?
I know there are many ways to model this but how would some of you go about it? Would you create a sphere then cut out a spline circle for the ports? Would you create a box then turbo smooth it out to a sphere?
Can I somehow smooth create editable motion trail curve? And why it is often that undo not working correctly, it is not updating in viewport and also if I left click and check show in and out tangent's they are not showing.
