Since the release of Photoshop CC the "Live Shape Properties" has basically chosen when it does and does not want to show up.... sometimes I even create a new shape to replace the old one and it STILL does not show the live shape properties... how hard is it to make sure the options are available at all times? Actually, I get one more complex part that is showing approximated curved edges with lines. The simpler parts are displayed correctly.
- Display quality is set to Smoother
- Changing minimum frame Hz doesn't work
- I disabled the integrated intel GPU (in the bios)
- I have good hardware, it shouldn't be a problem
I thing somehow Inventor decided this complex part should be approximated
Any other settings I can change ? Maybe a value directly in the registry ?
Is it possible to fill a shape with texts or have text follow a curved path?

I know that I definitely did not use the pen tool; it was some kind of tool where I could draw a straight line, and depending how far across the image the line was, the more round it became.
Essentially, it was like a line tool that would warp into curved lines.
I always face problem with using pen tool to create smooth curves... specially when I give grediant to the shape or the background colour is some dark colour the crude edges of the shape are clearly visible..

Using pen tool I have to press Alt + click again at the node while drawing to create a cusp node.
My method is - Select Pen tool - left click for first node and drag to achieve desired curved segment - release mouse button - press again left click for second node at desired position and drag control handle to create desired curve - then Alt click at second node for cusp node - continue in this fashion for rest of the curved segments as shown in my example.
Is it possible to draw and edit control points for a cusp, smooth or symmetric node simultaneously in a single stretch while drawing curved segments with some other shortkey combinations but without pressing again S for smooth/symmetric or Alt click node for a cusp or F10 for edit later?

After selecting the completed line I select the main text tool (the other text tool, fit text to curve, is grayed out and not selectable). However, wherever I insert the cursor along the curved line I still end up with a straight line of text. After much experimentation I still cannot figure it out. Usually, when you check the 'dashed line' option on the stroke pallete, you will instantly create a dashed-line stroke on the selected path. What I don't know how to do is retaining the straight property of a dash on curve parts of the path.

How to create a flow arrow label for a feature line that parallels the curve?
I've a vague notion that this could be done with a dynamic block and a few fancy expressions. I'm comfortable with expressions, but I've never used dynamic blocks at all, so I wouldn't know where to start.
To be clear, I know curved text is possible, but I'm looking for a curved line (ie an arc) that would look 'parallel' to the arc of the feature line (ie have the same centre point). This would have to be dynamic to allow for different radii and for flipping to the left and right side of the feature line.
Having a time getting ribs to align 2m below top of ridge beam, and connect to curved wall below. I created one, then arrayed, but the radius changes at each 2.5 degree interval. I don't think I should have to calculate the % radius change to get the beams to do this. Some constraint button maybe?
Not sure if editing a wall profile is the best way to model this, but it's working.
I want to extrude a big number of pillars to a rather complicated surface and that works out fine. But each end of the pillars warps around the surface and I want them just to go up to it and stop with a resulting horizontal face.
