You can write metadata to files ([Ctrl][S]), remove those files from Lightroom and then synch folder to reimport them. That reimports them with all modified settings but without their history.Â

In Lightroom 3, you could click on the GPS location and that took you to a Google map page with a specific web link that you could then publish, eg on a blog. You can copy and paste the GPS location into a Google map page but that does not give you a web link you can use.

When importing files with geodata my "country" metadata is filled in 2 letter format. Is trere a way to chenge this in Lightroom 5? I would like to avoid renaming my old files.

For example I have a map in Ai and then I outline it in pen. Now how can I fill each state without having to trace each individual state in pen..because when I do this the state lines overlap and look bad. Like if I trace Washington and Oregon, the borders overlap unless I just trace the border line once in pen...but then I cannot fill the states because they are not separate polygons but a continuous line.How can I fill the states if they are not selectable polygons??
Or how can I make the states selectable polygons without having the borders overlap and look messy?
AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Template Changing Country Kit Settings
Aug 4, 2013I created a template using ANZ as the base template. Now I have a requirement to change the country kit to UK. What all the things I need to change in the template to use the UK country kit.
Also when users using my template on a machine which don't have ANZ country kit installed, they getting error messages such as missing SHP files, Payload item not found.
How to fix these issue also what is the correct procedure when giving using Civil3D template who are using different country kit.
Photoshop :: Jpeg's Missing In Limited Account
Oct 14, 2007I have a problem with Photoshop CS, working in a limited account.
Namely, in admin account PS has in 'Save As' File Types list, among others JPEG file type.
But in limited account there is no JPEG file type in the 'Save As' list, so i have to go to 'Save for Web' to compress psd file.
I presume that's something about ntfs permissions, so i assigned full control to COMP/Users for Photoshop folders in 'Program Files' and 'Common Files', but to no avail.
Is there some Windows compressor, to which PS is addressing to compress files, and if so, where it could be located? If i knew that, i could assign user permissions to it.

Oct 6, 2008I had serious corruption issues with the user profile I was using when I setup my CS3, when I created a new user account and tried to open PS it says my licensing is no longer valid... This is rediculous, surely this is a mistake right?

Apr 4, 2012Just performed 10 installs of CS5.5 design Premium on Mac Intel Towers running 10.5.8 and 10.6.8. On three of the machines the PS app in 64-bit mode crashes on launch from the Standard user account. In the Admin account it opens in 64bit mode no problem. In the standard user account if I switch to open in 32-bit mode it opens without issue.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times. ( as per Adobe ) There are no third party plug ins, even if there were why would it run in the Admin account?All other Apps in the CS work fine.

I have tried simple words and names and sometimes include numbers. I've checked both boxes referring to updates and agreeing to the Terms of Use. I click on Update Account and I get this message:

I have registered the program on the website. My account is identified and recognized. Why can't I get passed Update Account? Why must I have a personal URL if it's the only thing stopping my progress?
AutoCAD LT :: Sharing One Account On 360?
Aug 2, 2012We would like to be able to store all of our drawings on the Autodesk 360 cloud but have two users in different locations and want to share a common account. We already have two separate accounts with our 2004LT but that requires each of us to set up sharing for the other, notification, etc. If we purchase two seats of 2013 AutoCAD LT can we both use the automatic save (to 360) with the same account user name and password? 25GB of storage with one subscription is plenty for our needs but the main objective is that all of our files would be in the same account and there wouldn't be any chance of us having slightly different versions of the same file in two different accounts.Â
If one guy is logged into the account will that prevent the other from gaining access until the first one signs off? I saw something on Autodesk's site saying they were working on being able to combine cloud units but they don't have it yet. I don't know if this would also allow combining separate subscriptions?

Sep 5, 2013I have had a Corel account for several years. I bought, downloaded, and installed PSP X6 Ultimate several days ago. When I first loaded it, a window appeared asking me to register for a "Corel PaintShop Pro X6 Membership" (Standard), or to login under my existing account. However after I fill in the blanks for either new or existing membership and click the button, nothing happens...absolutely nothing. Then a smaller window opens that asks me to sign in (or if I'm not a member, offers an opportunity to learn more about PSP X6 Membership). When I fill in those blanks and click the button, I'm notified that I am not a member, so I click the link to learn more about PSP X6 Membership and am directed back to the window that doesn't do anything.

May 10, 2009Our home network is a Vista PC with an Epson 2880 printer attached to the Vista PC. My wife's XP PC connects through our simple network and prints on the Epson printed by going through my computer. Simple set up, no problems. We both use CS4, set so CS4 manages color, correct Epson paper profile, printer color management off, all the correct settings. Both our monitors are color corrected with Spyder3. When she prints from her computer every picture has a magenta cast. Even more strange is when I copy the same picture onto my PC and open it in my copy of CS4 the picture looks normal but CS4 will not print it. CS4 says I do not have a printer attached. I can open any other picture in the same CS4 session and print with no problems. Every time I try to print a picture that she printed CS4 says there is no printer. This occurs even when I have copied the picture onto my computer and opened it on my computer. I have tried renaming the picture and even changing the format to TIFF or JPEG but CS4 still refuses to print it. I can open a new blank document and use the move tool to move the picture onto the blank document, At this point I can print from CS4 normally AND the picture will not have any color cast?

My scanner is Microtek 4800.
Monitor is a Dell M992 hooked up to a Dell XPS w/ Windows XP Pro.
The printer is an Epson Stylus PHOTO 925.
My main goal is to refurbish/repair damaged photos/images.
For example, I would like to take an old picture, scan it, retouch and repair it using Photoshop CS, then print it to Photo-quality paper on my Epson.
It seems most calibration tools are expensive.
using Adobe Gamma to calibrate my Monitor. Do I really need to calibrate or profile my scanner and printer? Or can I merely use my scanner w/ no presets, adjust the image in PS, then set my printer driver to "do not color manage"?
is there a way to calibrate/profile my system that is not too expensive?
