Oct 8, 2012how do i link photoshop elements 11 organizer to my existing photoshop CS editor?
This used to work on elements 8.I used the elements 11 edit preferences menu, and it wouldn't accept my browse of photoshop.exe (the CS version).

Jan 12, 2013Made a photobook and want to 'seamlessly' upload it to shutterfly. It gets to 80% complete, then fails every time. Shutterfly customer service made it sound like I am the only one to actaully try this from photoshop and couldn't work.

Feb 1, 2014I'm having problems getting a photobook uploaded to Shutterfly from PSE 11. I've done this many times, but never had this issue (not that I can remember). I created the book in PSE 11, have it loaded into the editor, hit the Order button, the file is processed, but when it gets to the upload part, I get an error stating that Elements cannot communicate with the internect either due to lack of connection or a firewall. I did a test and was able to upload a file directly from Elements 11 organizer to SmugMug with no issues. I was monitoring the internet connention through the control panel during the photobook upload and it appeared to be fine. The firewall settings also seem to allow the proper access.
Update: Still not working. Went as far as to disable the firewall since that is one of the items mentioned in the error message, but apparently that did not work.

My question is - I would like to use Shutterfly's more extensive selections for this book (found on their website) and the first activity required is to "get" the photos. They are not easily found even though I look in my "My Pictures" library. and Shutterfly's website does not show Elements Organizer as a source for getting photos to add. (even though they appear as an option under the "Share" portion of Organizer.

I have registered the program on the website. My account is identified and recognized. Why can't I get passed Update Account? Why must I have a personal URL if it's the only thing stopping my progress?

Feb 26, 2013I have trial version of Elements 11; Also have full version, but have not installed yet, as I wanted to wait until I completed current project. I created/edited an album of wedding photos in the Organizer. I tried to upload album to Shutterfly to make an archival DVD and also make a photo book in Shutterfly. The photos uploaded individually to the Shutterfly print page to print individually, but the album will not upload to My Pictures, it shows the album name, but it is empty. How do I get the photos to upload?? Shutterfly was not sure how.

Oct 14, 2007I have a problem with Photoshop CS, working in a limited account.
Namely, in admin account PS has in 'Save As' File Types list, among others JPEG file type.
But in limited account there is no JPEG file type in the 'Save As' list, so i have to go to 'Save for Web' to compress psd file.
I presume that's something about ntfs permissions, so i assigned full control to COMP/Users for Photoshop folders in 'Program Files' and 'Common Files', but to no avail.
Is there some Windows compressor, to which PS is addressing to compress files, and if so, where it could be located? If i knew that, i could assign user permissions to it.

Photoshop :: Mac PS Will Not Launch In 64bit Mode In Standard Account
Apr 4, 2012Just performed 10 installs of CS5.5 design Premium on Mac Intel Towers running 10.5.8 and 10.6.8. On three of the machines the PS app in 64-bit mode crashes on launch from the Standard user account. In the Admin account it opens in 64bit mode no problem. In the standard user account if I switch to open in 32-bit mode it opens without issue.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times. ( as per Adobe ) There are no third party plug ins, even if there were why would it run in the Admin account?All other Apps in the CS work fine.

Aug 17, 2013I am unable to link my Epson 3200 photo scanner to PS Elements 11 on my new iMac. I have tried downloading the software from the Epson website, but when I load it the nothing shows up. I moved the the Optional Plug-ins > Import Modules TWAIN plug in to the Plug-ins. That had no affect at Photoshop Elements 11>Support Files>Import.
On my old iMac I could link and download files from the Scanner.
