Photoshop Elements :: Move Photos From Organizer To Shutterfly Book
Sep 22, 2013I have built an album of photos in Organizer and can follow the Share path to a photo book using the Shutterfly option as these photos appear in the photo bin and can be dropped in the book's pages. My question is - I would like to use Shutterfly's more extensive selections for this book (found on their website) and the first activity required is to "get" the photos. They are not easily found even though I look in my "My Pictures" library. and Shutterfly's website does not show Elements Organizer as a source for getting photos to add. (even though they appear as an option under the "Share" portion of Organizer.

Nov 30, 2012I have installed PSE 11 and PRE 11 on my PC, running windows 8 64 bit. The programs were already running fine for several days but suddenly the organizer wont work. As soon as i start the program it starts up and disappears some seconds later. I only can see it in task manager as a process running in the background! When I start the editor first and afterwards the organizer (out from the editor) then the organizer stays and I'm able to work with. De- and Re-installation already done, several times.

I previously downloaded Elements 11 Editor from Mac iTunes Store, this version does not come with Organizer. I then found I had a copy of organizer with Premiere Elements 11. After install I can use both products fine, but cannot use edior to edit my photos from the Organizer. The message "the feature you selected requires adobe photoshop elements" appears.

Everytime I start the programme It goes into organiser and ten seconds or so later I get a message saying " Elements 10 Organizer has stopped working" A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Aug 26, 2012I have a terabite and a half hard drive with not very much used up. I have b een reading about Adobe 9 and the answer seems to be lack of space. That just can't be true in my case. I have 1.45 TB free of 1.80 TB. Operating system Windows 7. HP desk top computer.
It takes forever when workiing tagging photos, writing comments at bottom of picture etc. I am continually haviing to "wait for program to respond" ???

Feb 1, 2014I'm having problems getting a photobook uploaded to Shutterfly from PSE 11. I've done this many times, but never had this issue (not that I can remember). I created the book in PSE 11, have it loaded into the editor, hit the Order button, the file is processed, but when it gets to the upload part, I get an error stating that Elements cannot communicate with the internect either due to lack of connection or a firewall. I did a test and was able to upload a file directly from Elements 11 organizer to SmugMug with no issues. I was monitoring the internet connention through the control panel during the photobook upload and it appeared to be fine. The firewall settings also seem to allow the proper access.
Update: Still not working. Went as far as to disable the firewall since that is one of the items mentioned in the error message, but apparently that did not work.

I created/edited an album of wedding photos in the Organizer. I tried to upload album to Shutterfly to make an archival DVD and also make a photo book in Shutterfly. The photos uploaded individually to the Shutterfly print page to print individually, but the album will not upload to My Pictures, it shows the album name, but it is empty. It doesn't change to match the diameter of the hole (which is a hole feature in both parts) and it doesn't bring up a list of fasteners. Everything is still highlighted in the assembly. It just won't do anything with it.

Jan 19, 2014Bought the box version of Elements 12. Received serial number. However, Elements does not recognize my internet connection and will not let me register. So after the trial period I can't use the program. Every other program on my computer that uses the Internet connects flawlessly.

Jul 25, 2013I have recently moved a catalog from a PC to a mac (after 5+ years using PSE on a PC). I transferred (using PSE11 restore catalog process) 25,000+ photos across using the instructions from adobe and had it all working perfectly for a couple of weeks.
Recently all the photos in my catalog have become 'missing files'. The catalog is located in a custom location on the internal drive being '/users/marcus/pictures/adobe/organizer/media/media/'
pse11 now thinks location is '/volumes/public/users/marcus/pictures/adobe/organizer/media/media/'
The /volumes/ directory contains references to files on network drives (and show up under 'Shared' in finder). I have no idea how PSE11 decided to think all the files in ther catalog were on a network drive.
When I reconnect the file manually, then the program returns the error "The file exists in the catalog."
This error appears to be the one referenced here: [URL] ... being kb404560 but these are mostly windows based solutions. I have tried the suggested solutions without success on the mac
I suspect the problem occurred due to OSX's stadard process of mounting virtual drives to install new programs but this is a guess as I am new to macs. I have unmounted all recent drives
I am running OS X 10.8.4 on a late 2012 27 inch iMac 3.4GHz i7 mac with 8 GB of memory.

When I go to Elements organizer, a little box comes up saying "restoring people recognition data". It shows that it has run to 22% but then stops and I have to close out the photoshop program because I can't do anything else with it.This is a brand new, expensive, program.
