We need to know how to make a retangle, bend the lines and fill with color (dancing ants). If this product cannot do it whst will? Can I get a reduced price since I purchaed Adobe element 10?
View 5 RepliesIn PS CS5 Extended latest version. I select all, then go to Select|Modify, and all choices are grayed out other than border. This is an 8 bit RGB image. The layer is selected. I also tried flattening it. I also tried creating a new image, RGB 8 bit depth. Also 16 bit. Nothing works.
I double checked CS3 and this works in CS3, but not CS5.
When selecting an area I would like to modify/transform/reshape just that selection (the marching ants) without moving the underlying image.How do I do that?

I am creating a selection set using ssget...
Then I copy that selection set multiple times in a loop. What I would like to do is then rotate (or otherwise modify) the last copied group of items. If I rotate "last" it will only accept the last drawn item, so only one item in the group of copied objects will rotate.
Here is the portion of simple code I am using right now (it's in a loop so all variables with 'Next' are changing each time):
(command "_.copy" SS1 "" SS1Base NextPT)
(command "_.Rotate" "l" "" NextPT NextAng)
This works fine with a single object, but I can't figure out how to call up the entire group of objects.

I have PSE 10. I'm trying to change a layout to customize my output. I'm the admin but I get the following error when trying to save a change. "You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact your admin for permission". I checked the file properties and the only box not checked is the special permissions which is grayed out. I see info saying this is how you modify the layouts but not sure why mine isn't accepting.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIn Elements 2.0, the selection tool literally only selects what you want it to (like a brush). In CS6, I can't find a similar selection tool. Quick select always makes the selection too broad and I end up having to constantly add and subtract from it to little avail. I know there's more advanced ways to define the selection, but I want to know how to easily select only what's in my brush path.

After using the Selection tool and masking the children, I then inversed the selection and tried to apply the Scratch and Dust filter but the program crashed every time I tried. I was however able to use the quick selection tool and apply the scratch and dust filter without any trouble. I would like to use the selection tool but I am having difficulty as noted above. I am using a IMac computer with OX10.8.3. I also reinstalled Photo Elements 10.

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently started experiencing a problem in PSE11. When I select an area of an image using the rectangle or lasso tool, the area I've selected immediately fades to black. Modifying the selection area makes it visible again for just a moment, then it fades out again. I know that the underlying image is not affected, as I can apply edits (filters, etc.), and the image returns to normal when I deselect. However, this is making image editing difficult. I'm on a MacBook Pro, running Snow Leopard (10.6.8). I also use Lightroom 4, and have PSE set as the external editor.
I uninstalled and reinstalled PSE, which worked for a while, but the problem has returned.
When I select an image to paste in another image I am now only getting 1/4 of the image appearing as the paste selection.
