View 1 RepliesHow do I click and drag the corner of an image to enlarge it beyond the edit workspace? Using the Navigator, I can enlarge the image, but am only able to view part of the image in the workspace, not the entire thing. When editing, I need to see the entire photo and its edges. I could do this in the earlier versions, but not 10. What am I doing wrong? I am a former user of photoshop 7, elements 8.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to use content-Aware fill to enlarge a photo into different aspect frame. The subject is in pool, surrounded by a large area of water. I've put the image in to the larger aspect ratio canvas, with a green solid background behind it, then merged those two layers together as one. I selected all the green and delted using content-aware fill. It did a pretty good job but it's also recreating some of the subject.
Is there a way that I can specify the area that it chooses from, ie the water?
In Photoshop 11, I have used a tool, similiar to the clone, that blends an unwanted object from a photo and replaces the object with pixils adjacent to it, but I can no longer find it. How do I do this. It seemed to work better for me in some cases better than the clone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIm trying to tear a dollar bill in half...I know how to do this and accomplished it with ease in gimp but theres one problem.
When I split the dollar bill, and I move each piece upward, the bottom corner of the dollar bill hides behind something...I think its the actual picture perimeter.. I hope this makes sense...basically the dollar bill is to large..when I move each piece of the dollar bill, the corners of the dollar behind fall behind the frame I guess or the perimieter of the picture. I tried resizing the layer but that didn't seem to work. Is there some way to enlarge the space where the object sits. I tried scaling and it doesnt make a difference either..

When trying to place an image into a new document in photoshop elements 12, I select all-copy-paste the image (or even drag it) over to the new doc created. However, when I do this - the image does not paste in at the same size. It typically shrinks down in size. Do I have to save the file, close out and then open the new doc and PLACE it in the document in order for it to keep size? There must be a better way to do this. Basically, how can I drag a photo that is 4x6 over to a new doc while keeping the size at 4x6.
