Oct 28, 2012I'd have thought (since this has been a problem since 9 and that HD displays are fairly common now) it would have been addressed. I still can't find a way to increase the font size in PE 11, though. Am I missing something? It seems the menu fonts have increased in size in proportion to what Windows font size I'm using, but all the other fonts in PE 11 are still too tiny to read meaning (unless I am missing something) the software is still unusable (unless I sacrifice resolution).

Feb 12, 2013I would like Abobe to create a patch for this problem affecting so many of us. The menu's font size cannot be adjusted in PSE. It is a HUGE problem for me. I cannot return the product, I lose money, but I am unable to continue with using it. I do not understand why Adobe keeps ignoring this problem. PSE would be a great product - only if Adobe listened to customer input. I am forced to think that Adobe simply does not care enough about its customers, especially not about the older population with presbiopia.

Jan 17, 2014I am using PSE12 with Mac OS X Mavericks. If I use the type tool, type some text then want to change maybe the font or size, the text disappears! If I set the parameters before typing everything is OK, but it is really inconvenient.Â

Also when I do a return in text the first letter of the next line is always a capital whether or not I start a new sentence!

Feb 23, 2014I found a forum entry about changing the font size of captions in a slide show in PSE9. The fixer said there was no global fix to change the default font size for captions in PSE9. Is there a way to do that in PSE12? When my captions show up on the screen in PSE12, they are so small I can barely read them. I would like them all to be larger.

Apr 8, 2009When I drag a photo file to Photoshop, it opens in a size significantly smaller than the workspace. (This is especially true with vertical [portrait] photos.) Therefore, every time I open a photo (and I do this typically hundreds of times a day...), I have to drag the lower right corner way out to enlarge the frame, and then I have to scroll the mouse wheel to make the picture expand to (approximately) fill the frame. Only then can I see it well enough to make the required ajustments to the file. Isn't there a way to tell Photoshop how large I want the photos to appear in the workspace, so it opens every new photo file to the same size? I am using Photoshop CS (not CS2 or CS3).
