Photoshop Elements :: Menu Font Size Cannot Be Increased?

I would like Abobe to create a patch for this problem affecting so many of us. The menu's font size cannot be adjusted in PSE. It is a HUGE problem for me. I cannot return the product, I lose money, but I am unable to continue with using it. I do not understand why Adobe keeps ignoring this problem. PSE would be a great product - only if Adobe listened to customer input. I am forced to think that Adobe simply does not care enough about its customers, especially not about the older population with presbiopia.

I'm trying the trial version of Photoshop CS6, and I'm wondering whether or not it's possible to change the length of a shape with the amount of text entered into it, with the text still being editable? For example, if I had typed in 'hello', the size of the shape should be just big enough for the text to fit inside, without me having to change anything. On the other hand, if I typed in 'good morning', would I be able to make it so the size of the shape would change for the text to fit without having to use the transform tool?
I'm trying to make annotations for a video, and it would be annoying to have to transform to the correct measurements every single time.

How does one affect the size of fonts and menus so you can see with less eye strain? I just plugged in a couple of Dell 30" monitors to work with this but find all of the menus and dialoges to be very small at the 2600x1900ish res. Windows XP display settings found in the control panel do not seem to affect the 3ds UI at all.

I have loaded Autocad 2013 and the the font size for the menubar at the top is very large. When I added 5 of my own menus to it, it now wraps around to another line. The Autocad 2012 let me get my extra menus in because the font size was much smaller.

The fonts on the menu (File, Edit etc) are way too small in comparison with other programs on my desktop. Is there a way to enlarge them? Adjusting the screen resolution is not an option. I have noticed this with previous version of Xara that I have used. How to do this if it is not in the program settings?

After installing the lightroom 4 on my new Imac 27', I found the font are too small to read. I can only change the font size of menu a little bigger and can't do anything about the other font size. I am so frustrated. The reason why I bought Imac 27" is to protect my weak vision and there are no means to change the font size in lightroom. I searched online and found many customers had this issue.

This has been a little annoying when trying to work on my edge animate projects. As I am using an old 4:3 ratio as my monitor - I don't have a lot of space on my desktop. Whenever I want to insert or edit code in Edge, the code menu pratically takes up my whole screen.
As you can see the font is still large even when it is on 'small' font size. Is there anywhere to change this or do I have to go digging manually into Edge's files?

I'm having multiple issues with Photoshop CC. I just installed it yesterday and all went well. I began working on a project and discovered that the bracket keys no longer increased the brush size, but instead jumped from one brush to another. The following day I tried to open the app and got a blank white window and a spinning beach ball. It won't start.

We are working on a DWG file. Its a project my friend started and is of a house. She now started to bring in furniture from external files. Now her original DWG file is really big. Even if she deletes the furniture she brought in from external files, the original file is still bigger than it was.
I asked her if she could just copy the original 3D house to a new file. She said in a later version of AutoCad, she could just create BOX and save the objects to a new file, but she isn't sure how to do this in AutoCad 2012.
In Short: Is there a way to save her project? She can't even work on it now because the file is so big.

I can't change the text fonts in Elements 9. Most everything else seems to work except the font family drop down menu. When I click on the arrow, the menu drops but immediately dissappears. The font size drop down works but not the family menu.

so I incresed the canvas size the existing icon has a stronger checkered background than the "new area...
and: I cannot do (except for pasting another image) anything with the weakly checkered area??

my .oam files getting bigger...i had a little animation that was 1.9mb and 1 month later i make the same animation and i' m getting a 2,9mb file.Not much, but this .oam file is part of a website...so size das matter..
Is there a way, to get smaller sizes? the files are alrready based on the animation size..the animation is 960x320pixels..and i made the pictures 100% based on that measurements..

I am working on a quite large file. It was all of the time around 68 MB. Now at once it is 570 MB in size. I linked all images (less than 380 MB) externally. What is the reason for that?

I am creating a slider for a site's Home Page, and specified a Stage size of 960 x 255 pixels in my Edge Animate document. When I inserted the .oam file from Dreamweaver (Insert > Media), the dimensions grew to 980 x 275 pixels. Manually correcting the dimensions does not correct the problem. The width remains wider, and a gap exists between the bottom edge of my animate object and the border graphic that overlays the object.
How do I correctly specify the stage size so it remains at the size I specify once I insert the .oam file in my page?

Is it possible to change the print font size. I have printed off the reader manual to assist me, but unfortunateley , as an 80 yr/old and with only one eye, I am finding the small font difficult to read and follow. It is not possible to change the printer font size, as I am informed by H P tech dept that it is controlled in the elements 12 programe

Is there the option to change the UI font in PSE 11 - i can not find an option, despite this UI problem being around for at least PSE 10 and PSE 9......

I'd have thought (since this has been a problem since 9 and that HD displays are fairly common now) it would have been addressed. I still can't find a way to increase the font size in PE 11, though. Am I missing something? It seems the menu fonts have increased in size in proportion to what Windows font size I'm using, but all the other fonts in PE 11 are still too tiny to read meaning (unless I am missing something) the software is still unusable (unless I sacrifice resolution).

I am using PSE12 with Mac OS X Mavericks. If I use the type tool, type some text then want to change maybe the font or size, the text disappears! If I set the parameters before typing everything is OK, but it is really inconvenient.
Also when I do a return in text the first letter of the next line is always a capital whether or not I start a new sentence!

I found a forum entry about changing the font size of captions in a slide show in PSE9. The fixer said there was no global fix to change the default font size for captions in PSE9. Is there a way to do that in PSE12? When my captions show up on the screen in PSE12, they are so small I can barely read them. I would like them all to be larger.

I copied and paste text onto a pic on photoshop and it has completely resized the whole workshop. Everything, now is so small you can see it. I can select 72 pts but then it's just barely large enough to read. What has happened and how do I restore things there way they were? I have Photoshop 6.
