my .oam files getting bigger...i had a little animation that was 1.9mb and 1 month later i make the same animation and i' m getting a 2,9mb file.Not much, but this .oam file is part of a website...so size das matter..
Is there a way, to get smaller sizes? the files are alrready based on the animation size..the animation is 960x320pixels..and i made the pictures 100% based on that measurements..
I am creating a slider for a site's Home Page, and specified a Stage size of 960 x 255 pixels in my Edge Animate document. When I inserted the .oam file from Dreamweaver (Insert > Media), the dimensions grew to 980 x 275 pixels. Manually correcting the dimensions does not correct the problem. The width remains wider, and a gap exists between the bottom edge of my animate object and the border graphic that overlays the object.
How do I correctly specify the stage size so it remains at the size I specify once I insert the .oam file in my page?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWe are working on a DWG file. Its a project my friend started and is of a house. She now started to bring in furniture from external files. Now her original DWG file is really big. Even if she deletes the furniture she brought in from external files, the original file is still bigger than it was.
I asked her if she could just copy the original 3D house to a new file. She said in a later version of AutoCad, she could just create BOX and save the objects to a new file, but she isn't sure how to do this in AutoCad 2012.
In Short: Is there a way to save her project? She can't even work on it now because the file is so big.
I am working on a quite large file. It was all of the time around 68 MB. Now at once it is 570 MB in size. I linked all images (less than 380 MB) externally. What is the reason for that?

I have an existing HTML page (created in Adobe Muse) and I am trying to draw some Adobe Edge objects on top of the page (e.g. a rectangle or an image). When I look in the layers panel, the Edge objects show as top in the list. However, visually when I look at the page, the elements show behind the pre-existing HTML page from Muse.

The PHP code is not parsed. In order to have it work with Wordpress, I am using "Edge Suite" plugin, which requires you to import the animation as an OAM file, then I am firing it like this inside one of Wordpress' PHP file:

I'm trying the trial version of Photoshop CS6, and I'm wondering whether or not it's possible to change the length of a shape with the amount of text entered into it, with the text still being editable? For example, if I had typed in 'hello', the size of the shape should be just big enough for the text to fit inside, without me having to change anything. On the other hand, if I typed in 'good morning', would I be able to make it so the size of the shape would change for the text to fit without having to use the transform tool?
I'm trying to make annotations for a video, and it would be annoying to have to transform to the correct measurements every single time.
This has been a little annoying when trying to work on my edge animate projects. As I am using an old 4:3 ratio as my monitor - I don't have a lot of space on my desktop. Whenever I want to insert or edit code in Edge, the code menu pratically takes up my whole screen.
As you can see the font is still large even when it is on 'small' font size. Is there anywhere to change this or do I have to go digging manually into Edge's files?
I have imported an OAM file into the first page of an app I am making in InDesign. The OAM looks correct on load but once the animation begins it gets really big and all I see is a tiny portion of the animation.
I have other text and graphics on that page I was wondering if that could be the cause.
Working with Edge version 1.5.0 and Visual Studio 10. Just about finished with a project and now all of my code has disappeared from Edge, I can't see any of my triggers on the timeline or events on the buttons. I can still open the html in a browser and everything still works but I can't do any more edits inside of Edge because I can't see the code in there.
The edge actions file has all the code, but Edge does not see any of it inside Edge. I tried pasting the full code back into Edge but it would not save it. How can I get edge to see the code again?
Do I have to write a CSS rule for every symbol and element in a presentation or can I just specify a general rule for the whole thing?For example, how can I specify that all images should have a red border, or all links should change color on hover?
Shouldn't I be able to create a separate CSS file as in Dreamweaver and just attach it?
I have built an EDGE file to the size of a full page iPad layout (1024 X 768), with a few elements that animate. I have set it up correctly, and, published to "Animate Deployment Package. However, when it plays in DPS, there is a hesitation (or delay), then, a white - stop in the action - then the animation plays fine. I have not coded in delays or stops.
I am not a coder.I have done a number of tests with a variety of "Poster" images, but, I still get the play "Hesitation" (of delay).
I've mondified an existing edge animate animation and want to renew the oam file.
Tried the location where the former one is stored, as well as a new location on my desktop.
Either way, I get the next error message:
"Edge Animate encountered error(s) publishing: OAM publish failed.
Could not create output folder /Users/peterriemslagbaas/Creative Cloud Files/Kohenderiks.nl/illustraties/publish_animate package/.
Make sure parent location exitsts and is writable."
Of course, I did make sure the parent location exists and is writable...........
However, the error message keeps coming......

But now I need to make some changes, and several of them are displaying an error saying that could not find the html file associated with the project, even though the file is right at the same folder. I opened the .an file in a text editor and checked that the HTMLFileName attribute is pointing to the correct file. I'm attaching a print screen of the error.

I cannot return the product, I lose money, but I am unable to continue with using it. I do not understand why Adobe keeps ignoring this problem. PSE would be a great product - only if Adobe listened to customer input. I am forced to think that Adobe simply does not care enough about its customers, especially not about the older population with presbiopia.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI made this two different small project yesterday. Now, opening them and I see nothing in the content area and no time line at all, no assets or symbol shows. It is as a new satring file. I tried opening the html file as well but got the same result. I still can run the html file and see my project but can not open them in Animate and do any modification.
I am on a Mac and installed all the software a few days ago.
