I copied and paste text onto a pic on photoshop and it has completely resized the whole workshop. Everything, now is so small you can see it. I can select 72 pts but then it's just barely large enough to read. What has happened and how do I restore things there way they were? I have Photoshop 6.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFirstly, I cant get the reset preferences window to appear, as isntructed, by holding ctrl/alt/shift down and opening the application - I just get the details of the shortcut. tried on the actual.exe file and still dont get the window as described.
secondly, the hand tool does not seem to work? I select it, the 4 options appear in the tool bar above and the little hand Icon, but clicking and dragging on the file in the open window, has no effect, I cant move the file around the window as I supposed to be able to do.
How do I reset the "brush tool" Mode: back to NORMAL? Normal does not show up as a selection for basic brushes.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to design a banner for a client, that is 20 feet long.And when I highlight the text and make it 500, 600 pt its fins but as soon as I try and change to 700 or 800, it completely disappears and you cannot see the font.Why can't I do bigger than 600?

When I use text tool > horizontal type tool > I make sure I have verdena size 8pt font checked. I have made an image with this font size before and it turned out fine. However, now when I use this font it is huge, looks like size 20 or something. It is at 100% so it should look a lot smaller. I also put the old image next to it and the font is a lot smaller then the new one. Any idea on what's going on?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a problem getting my 'What the Font' tool to work - we got a couple of new computers in our art dept a few months ago and ever since then when trying to use this tool I get a message saying 'this hotkey is being used already by this system Please choose another one' , we do have other hotkeys set up for our system but on our older computers we never got this conflict running the same hotkeys.

I am using Photoshop Elements 6.0. I need to make my text 600 pt, but whenever I go that large my text disappears. I can only go up to about 450 pt before it disappears.

I still can't find a way to increase the font size in PE 11, though. Am I missing something? It seems the menu fonts have increased in size in proportion to what Windows font size I'm using, but all the other fonts in PE 11 are still too tiny to read meaning (unless I am missing something) the software is still unusable (unless I sacrifice resolution).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI would like Abobe to create a patch for this problem affecting so many of us. The menu's font size cannot be adjusted in PSE. It is a HUGE problem for me. I cannot return the product, I lose money, but I am unable to continue with using it. I do not understand why Adobe keeps ignoring this problem. PSE would be a great product - only if Adobe listened to customer input. I am forced to think that Adobe simply does not care enough about its customers, especially not about the older population with presbiopia.

Also when I do a return in text the first letter of the next line is always a capital whether or not I start a new sentence!

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy text tool is "stuck" on horzontal text tool in PSE10, and any attempt to change results in program crash. I cannot even "reset" all tools without triggering the fatal crash (it's telling me that "ATMLIB.dll" is not a valid Windows file).
I've got Win 7 and more then enough resources to run the software. Actually it ran just fine until recently. Is ATMLIB possibly pointing to a font issue?
I've reloaded the software from scratch (that is I've de-installed, and re-installed it now a couple of times). I've reloaded it and used the regirstration code from Adobe's "my products."
It only seems to happen when trying to select the text tool.
(I did post another message pointing to the DLL but I'm now more suspecious that it might be a font or registration issue.)
I have loaded Photoshop 10 onto my Win 7 SP1 PC, and it seems to work fine, but when I load an image and zoom in until it exceeds the window size, then try to move the image around with the scroll bars, nothing happens. Since I am using the crop tool, when I depress the Spacebar and use the Hand Tool to move the image, then release the spacebar, THEN the scrollbars start working as they should. Loading another image starts this process all over again. Is there something I can do so that Photoshop 10 always allows Scrollbars to function on a newly opened image?

Today the function has stopped; I have de-installed and re-installed my original programme but the same result - nothing. I can select the horizontal type tool and set the cursor; but nothing appears as I type. A layer does appear and when it is clicked you can see the text that I have typed but it simply doesn't get onto the photograph any more.
