Photoshop Elements :: Document 60cm X 23cm - Printing In Series To Paste Afterwards
Aug 18, 2013
I am trying to print a doc 60cm x 23cm but my printer will only accept A4 paper. I am happy to have this printed over a few sheets but even using the custom print options for paper and print sizes I am only able to print one section of the picture. How I can print a series from the picture so I can paste up afterwards?
I recently had to re-format my hard drive and lost the print driver that communicates with the Kip Plotter that I have and Autocad civil 3d 2011. I am needing the Kip10.hif print driver but cannot find it anywhere on the web that I have looked, where I can download this driver, I have the disk for the Plotter but if only includes the drivers for civil 3d 2009.
I'm having problems with printing documents in color using the Corel Draw X6 (Windows 7). My printer is an HP Photosmart 8200 Series and I'm using the most recent driver from HP. I've made sure that the color is turned on (i.e. grayscale is turned off).
When I go the print dialog and the preview I only see black and white (and get no colors when proceeding with printing). For some strange reason I don't get a 'color' tab in the print dialog (where I could check whether grayscale/black&white printing is turned on).
But when I use a different printer driver (e.g. Windows XPS) then suddenly I see the correct preview with color. So somehow this is linked to the HP printer driver.
I inadvertently saved a document as a jpg and wondered if there is any way I can convert it to a document file that is handled more easily with a file that is other than a photo file?
I need to design a large logo for a billboard ad. The dimensions are about 14'x6' I spoke with the printing company and they weren't all that helpful about DPI & such. The most info I could get was that they print at 150 DPI, and if I wanted to make my image smaller they will scale it up.
it's a very elaborate pixel based graphic that I don't want to be distorted when blown up. So, I've been trying to design at the literal dimensions of the sign, and 150 pixels/inch (in CS3). Problem is that I'm getting all kinds of scratch disk errors (even with 250gb free) and excessively long wait times between modifications to the document.
Is there any smaller size I can put this document to or anything I'm missing? I realize that I should be using a vector design, but the person I'm doing it for is very set on an elaborate pixel design with tons of detail.
i have a 2 artistic text blocks (both with different fonts) in same corel document and when i ctrl+c/ctrl+v from one to other it copy/paste not only the text but also font type/size and color.
I want just the text copied not all the properties.
I create a graphic that has the dimensions of a standard piece of paper (8.5in X 11in) and then i savedit on a disc for my friend and he goes to office max to print it out and it comes out with a border... Is there a way to get rid of the border or can printers just not print full page.
I was designing a membership card for a company and set a resolution of 300 and I can't remember what document size I set originally.
Anyway, my sizes now are as follows:
Pixel Dimensions: W 700, H 410 Document Size: 5.93cm X 3.47cm Resolution: 300 pixels/inch
When I save my psd as any image type, my image is MUCH bigger than 5.93 x 3.47. How can I save it so that it is the size I want, but still the good image quality (resolution) and so I get the same size when I print it.

I loaded Photoshop 10 and then imported/moved my catalogs from Photoshop 6. They are all scrambled - do not honor import dates/sequence and have dates and file names all intermingled. It is really a screwed up mess. I haven't found a way to unscrew it! - Or tell me I get to live with it!
i am having problems moving an edited photograph to a new document for printing. I get a screen stating 'The target document has a different depth than the source document. This may result in lower than expected quality.
if i try to print from the edited photograph without moving it onto a new document it doesnt fit onto an A4 paper and comes up with 'Specifit print settings (Interpolation, Calibration,Encoding) will be ignored since you are printing to a non post-script printer.
This has just started to become a problem I have not changed printer which is a printer/scanner/copy Lexmark 4550
I am trying to create a new document with new layers, but paste in an existing floor plan since it's the shell I need to be using. When I copy clip and insert into new file, all the layers import with it. I transferred everything onto 0 layers and went into my layer manager to try and delete the extra layers and it says i cannot delete o, xref dependent, etc. I want to create my own layers, and then assign the lines in the plan myself onto the new layers.
Computer is Windows 7 x64 running adobe CS6. The printer is a HP laserjet 3800dn the driver for the printer is PCL5 but it does the same thing printing with the Postscript driver. We have a navy blue color that prints out black for some reason. In the print options right before releasing the job we changed the use Illustrator colors to use Post script colors and it still does the same thing....Prints black where blue is supposed to go on the document. Doesn't matter if it is a .jpeg or plain text. Sending the job to a different printer works which is a Xerox work centre.
I have multipage (16 pages) document with linked frames of paragraph text. Every page consists of 2 linked frames of paragraph text and second one is linked to the first one of the next page. When printed, it prints only first two pages as a whole. And the 3-rd and all the others prints only first frame of the page and two rows of the second frame of the page.
Is this my printer (Canon LBP3010) or the CorelDRAW ?
BTW: Paste 16 pages from WORD to Corel X6 takes infinity and crashes. In Corel 9 it takes about a minute for 80 pages!
I have just started to embed keywords on the file info on images that I am submitting for sale. I cannot seem to copy and paste and have to type keywords repeatedly on each image.
I've just started using PS Elements 10 again after not having used it for some time, and I've forgotten a few things. When I paste an image which I've selected from another image (image A) into a layer mask for image B, the image A selection appears in black and white. Also, is there a quick way to return PS Elements 10 to its default settings?
Today i went to copy and then paste an image onto another one,i could not use the copy or paste function(in pse 10). Only the paste function was usable and when i hit it it pasted the picture of an eagle onto the image. This eagle i had copied from a particular website(unrelated to photoshop) amd pasted it to a folder in windows live photo gallery. I tried deleting this eagle from the windows gallery, but still i could paste the eagle onto the other picture. And it created another layer with the picture of the eagle. Also as usual my lassoo tool is malfunctioning in pse 10? Maybe uninstalling and re-installing pse 10 would solve the problem.
I was creating Jpeg images in Photoshop for eBay listings by opening my photo file, cutting out the image and pasting it to a new white canvas in the size I wanted. Now, suddenly when I try to do the cut and paste, all I get is a blank canvas with no image pasted into it.
I'm trying to save an image I was able to "cutout" from one picture, then I want to paste that image onto a different photo. I'm learning about layers (slowly...) and I've watched several tutorials. Everything I've seen/heard makes it look easy, but I'm missing something. Been working on this for several evenings with no luck. Using Photoshop Elements 11.
