Photoshop Elements :: Programs Will Open HTML Pages
Jul 26, 2013I made a web site with PShop and GOLive back in 2002-2005, I do not have PShop or GOLive anymore, but i wish to edit the path adress of those html pages generated by PShop and GOLive in 2002-2005, all i have is PS Elements10 and it does not recognize them, and none of my other programs will open the HTML pages so that I can edit them,

Selecting individual file types doesn't work for me much when, apart from .jpgs and .tiffs, I don't know all the file types PSE 10 can open and I want it to open everything it can. Sep 20, 2012I received PSE 8 in a bundle with a Bamboo tablet. I loaded it up and have been editing pictures just fine. Yesterday I downloaded and installed some actions from MCP's site and messed with a few of them. Today I downloaded and installed the MCP Facebook actions. I was able to mess around with it a bit along with some other action until after a few minutes I reveived a message from Adobe telling me that it has detected that a program closed unexpectedly and asked if I wanted to send an error report, which I have. I gave it a rest for a while but it is still crashing. I can get into the Organizer but when I attempt to go into any of the edit areas, it will load up and after a few seconds I get the message. I am using Windows 7

Nov 2, 2012i switched gimp 2.6 to 2.8 and new text tool behaves strangely, as i remember in gimp 2.6 when i try to change text content with selecting old text and pasting new text i could use same text size and same font with my old text without doing anything but now in the gim 2.8 whenever i try to change content of a text layer i need to choose again font and text size from toolbox options, but why do i have to do this, i have a text placed on my image with a certain font and certain font size and i just want to alter my text conten not the size of text or font , it changes automatically to back text size and font whatever i used last time in another work.
summary: i want to change my text content without setting my font and font size properties, i want to use my text layers old properties

Oct 1, 2012In the past day I have run into a problem whenever I copy and paste any text inside Illustartor CS6. If I copy text from outside Illustator and paste in a file, everything is ok. But if I copy text from inside an AI file and paste into another AI file or to the same file, I get a bunch of extra text that gets displayed before the pasted text. In the example below I copied and pasted the text "This is a test" within the same AI file, and got the a bunch of information above the text.

I get an error message reading "Could not complete the Paste Text command because the clipboard data is empty or invalid." I have tried shutting down Photoshop, shutting down other programs, re-starting my computer, adjusting my Preferences and asking Adobe by phone and chat. I am on a new iMac and have no third party plug-ins installed.

Today I tried to paste some unusual text into a text box and Gimp crashed. Since then, I can't get it to open, even after several reinstallations.
When I try to open it, the icon on the dock bounces once, then stops. It doesn't open X11 or anything (X11 still works fine on its own, though).
I've been looking around Google for a while, and I found out how to enter the --verbose thing into the terminal, and this is what I got when Gimp tries to launch:

Illustrator :: Can't Paste Text Nor Paths And Text
Feb 22, 2014I have a layer with some paths and lines of text. I copied some of the paths and text and tried to paste in another layer or document; the paths are not pasted and all the text becomes a single line. When I copied only the paths, it is pasted correctly. If I copied only the text and tried to paste in another layer or document, all the text becomes a single line.
If I drag the selection from one layer to another using the panel, it works. If I drag the selection from the artboard to another document, it works. But these operations sometimes are not convenient. What I would like is to copy the items, target a layer in another document and paste there. With a large document with dozens of layers and a lot of text the drag and drop solution is not feasible.

Sep 4, 2013When I copied text over from Photoshop to illustrator it kept the text formatting. For example the font, font size, color. Now when I use CC and copy paste text from PS to AI, all text formatting is lost and everything is placed as whatever the current AI text setting is.
HOWEVER, pasting from AI to PS WORKS as it should. All font/text formatting is maintained. Is this a bug or is there a setting for this that I just never knew about?

Jan 6, 2013Today i went to copy and then paste an image onto another one,i could not use the copy or paste function(in pse 10). Only the paste function was usable and when i hit it it pasted the picture of an eagle onto the image. This eagle i had copied from a particular website(unrelated to photoshop) amd pasted it to a folder in windows live photo gallery. I tried deleting this eagle from the windows gallery,but still i could paste the eagle onto the other picture. And it created another layer with the picture of the eagle. Also as usual my lassoo tool is malfunctioning in pse 10? Maybe uninstalling and re-installing pse 10 would solve the problem.

BUT to the leftside of the picture the background is such that I can cut it out and use it to fill the space on the left and right sides.
I know how to do selections with marquee tool etc but not how to copy and paste a selected area. Is there a tool or method that will do this for me?

Jan 16, 2014I am currently trying to copy some text I entered from one text box to another text box and GIMP not allowing it. I can paste the text just fine into any other application, word, browser, etc. so I know the copy/cut function is working fine. I've even tried opening the Text Box Editor from the text box itself and no luck there.
What gives? And why does it seem like I have to jump through ten times as many hoops for basic functions as I would with another program?
I'm trying really hard not to bash on GIMP after only using it for a few days but I would be lying if I said my blood pressure is damn near through the roof.
