May 7, 2009I have PSCS3, and have downloaded a set of fonts. But were to I find the folder to place the downloaded fonts into PSCS3?

InDesign, for example, will recognize any fonts that are here: C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesAdobeFonts.

If I superscript something (I do alot of retail price points) and then make a new type layer, it automatically defaults to superscript instead of defaulting to the normal font. This happens every, single, day. I finally got fed up and I bef of you a solution if you could. OS and Version below.

Apr 11, 2008some way to specify where PS CS3 will look for files and where to save files. I do not want my CS3 files to be saved to the default locations, and it is a waste of time to have to re-direct PS every time I what to open or save a file.

I have about 1000 folders all that have a file inside called; sample.jpg. I need to resize each of them and I have to use the Save For Web option so that these files are as small as possible. Save As makes the images too big. My plan was to make an action and batch process the files. It's easy enough to open all the documents, within the root directory, that are called, sample.jpg, by using the finder search features, but what I can't seem to do is get the Save to Web option to recognize the image's source folder. If I create an action, I see that the location I used when I created the action, is hard coded, so all I'm able to do is overwrite the same file, over and over again.

Dec 18, 2013By default, PSE uses the Windows preferred location for this user. I have a folder that is easier to access, simply D:Scans, and I have to enter this manually, as well as removing the default to set up a folder with "today's date" every time I do a scan. I would like to modify these default settings. Surely those locations must be held in an installed file somewhere, and so if I can just edit that file I'd be very happy.

Another designer uses the same font as me, but his computer has labeled it differently, so every time I open a file in which he has used that font, Illustrator says the font is missing. instead of having to go in and manually change the font every time I open a files he has worked on, I would like to set Illustrator to automatically change the font on opening.

I love that you can switch to folder view - since this is how I have been organizing my pictures for a long time. I would like to continue organizing this way for now until I get a grasp on the other ways I can organize them in elements. However, every time I close and re-open organizer it switches back to the default view instead of folder view. there is a way to set folder view to the default view!Â

I am facing some problem with few font series. Like the series of fonts called "Heavenetica" has turned italic.
Nothing happens even if I click Italic option again, I tried un-installing and re-installing the fonts, but still the same. The same fonts work and look fine in other software.
I recently upgraded to windows 8, this problem was not there in corel X6 in windows 7.

AutoCAD 2013 :: Installation Path Is Not Default Folder
Sep 6, 2013I've been trying to install autocad but seem to fail because of my installation path?
I'm pretty confused of the fact that the installation path is not my default folder and when I tried to change it back, there's no way to do so. I've attached a copy of what's happening whenever I try to install it to have a better understanding of the issue. I thought it was my computer at first, but I checked all my settings and my installation path is steadily in (C folder..however autocad aims to be installed in a different path (D and then freezes. I clicked on all 3 options at the bottom (Installation - system requirements...) but nothing allows me to change back my path folder so that the installation can take place.

If I use the code in example 1 the choose folder dialog appears and the 'Open' button is available and when I press the button the location is chosen as expected. However if I use the code in example 2, although the choose window opens in the path of the active documents location the 'Open' button is not able to be pressed until I select a folder., which means that the chosen location is not correct. I should indicate that I'm running this code on a Mac.

Any way to have a choose folder dialog window specify a location and be able to select that.

Though better, the Font is still way smaller than I would like. Maybe it's just tougher for seniors? Can they not make the font adjustable? I was told there is no way to increase the size of the font?
