Photoshop :: Creating A Continuous Image

Apr 30, 2006

how to create a continuous image when placed with the left end next to the right or vice versa.

This is for a header on a webpage, where i would like the image repeated across the top, one next to the other. I would like the image to be seamless, so it just appears to go on and on.

I have several images selected that are close to being able to be adjusted so that they will work end to end,

AutoCad :: Function For Creating Quantities Of Continuous Order Text

Jun 12, 2013

I am wondering if Autocad has some sort of function for creating quantities of continuous order text. Example: I have a grid for which each cell needs a label as such A-001, A-002, A-003..... etc.

I didnt know if there was any function within Autocad that serves as a text generator for something of the such.

Right now I have just copied the first Cell "A-001", pasted in all the other cells, and am individually going through and changing each number. This is a lot easier than generating text each time but it is still quite cumbersome.

GIMP :: Continuous Motion GIF From One Background Image

Oct 11, 2013

The concept is easy, you have a picture of a supercell thunderstorm, and the goal is to get the supercell to rotate in the animation and make it look like its continuous motion. Something that doesn't restart from the beginning. It basically looks like the storm is rotating and continuing to rotate without restarting.

I have an example, not sure who the author is, so I haven't been able to contact him/her. I am hoping this is something you can do with a script or at least have a step by step instructions to replicate.

I search a function to automate this process (look at the picture below for an example) :

- I have a picture with a lot of black pixels
- I would like to group all black pixels which are separated by less than "X" pixels, to draw a continuous surface.

Maybe with Extend Script ?

Photoshop :: CC / Continuous (Sign-In Failed) Message

Nov 11, 2013

I am running PS CC on Win 7 Pro, 64-bit and am 4 months into a one-year subscription.  Ever since I started usiing  the CC version (was using CS4 Web Premium), I have intermittently gotten weird startup messages like "You have 0 days left on your trial (?) version", "You have only 65535 days left on your trial version", "You need to register/activate your trial version" and "This Adobe ID has already been used to activate the software on two other computers".

Earlier today, I ran the Abobe Cloud app on my PC and updated the software (Abobe Cloud only, not PS CC).  Ever since then, I get a continuous "This Adobe ID..." message -- I can't get into PS CC at all.  And, by the way, the "two other computers" part is completely bogus -- I have activated it on one computer only.

Note:  I live in an extremely rural area, up in  the mountains with not exactly the fastest internet service (total bandwidth for the entire community is 20 M-bit), which may be giving the Adobe software indigestion, I don't know...

Photoshop :: Unable To Make A Continuous Layout -

May 23, 2006

I get Photoshop 9.01 CS2. My CPU is AMD 2500+ running 2.4 Ghz and i get 1 Gb of RAM.

If i draw a line with a small angle, like 3 or 4 degrees, the result lookslike a STAIRCASE! A staircase with small steps!

I observe that Photoshop have a tendancy to make straight line so when i do my angle it does a very small staircase.

Why is that? CPU is slow ( do not think so; runnuing 2.4 Ghz) My mouse is not precise?

Photoshop :: Creating Image Maps In CS3 --...

Jun 28, 2008

After just reading all 146 messages in the topic, "No more ImageReady in CS3 - VERY FRUSTRATING", I am seriously bummed, but left with unanswered questions.

Specifically, has anyone found a cheap, practical alternative for creating simple image maps with polygonal click regions? I want to create an actual map, where you click on a city name and go to a web page on that city. Rectangles do not work, as the real world regions are not shaped that way -- it has to be polygons. Nor do I want the map to be physically sliced apart and reassembled with table elements. I just want to use the HTML map
and area tags.

Photoshop 7 (my last version) could do this simple, useful task. My Photoshop CS3 "upgrade" cannot.

creates simple map & area image maps -- or perhaps an add-in or standalone? Something other than a $300 piece of otherwise useless (for my purposes) bloatware.

Photoshop :: Creating A New Image Problem

Apr 14, 2009

I want to create an image that is 5.5" by 3.75" and 300 dpi. I created it, then noticed that the zoom was at 25%, thought nothing of it.  I saved it and when I went to view it the image was like 9" by 9" or something like that, it was huge.

How do I create an image that is 5.5 x 3.75 with 300 dpi and have it display correctly?  What am I doing wrong? Why is it that when I create that image it shows up at 25%? And not 100%?

Photoshop :: Creating A Pixelated Image

Aug 10, 2009

I want to create an image with (intentionally) pixelated look. I have an original 12 megapixel image. When I zoom in Photoshop to the area of interest, I see the pixelated look that I want. I can crop an area of interest out of the original image, with the area being around 150 pixel in width. Now I would like to enlarge the size of the image to around 1500 pixel width, but keeping the pixelated look. And this is the part I do not know how to do. The interpolation algorithms in the Image Size tool do not produce the right effect - I want some algorithm which just clones each pixel by a factor of 10.

Photoshop :: Creating A Transparent Image...

Feb 4, 2007

I am trying to create a transparent image for a webpage, it's simple enough to do using the 'Export Transparent Image...' wizard under the 'Help' drop down menu in Photoshop, only problem I'm experiencing is if I try exporting it as a Gif the quality is degraded substantially....

if I export it as a PNG, the quality of the image stays in-tact but doesn't appear properly in Internet Explorer (PNG transparency doesn't display properly in IE). The image I'm saving has two layers, first being the transparency base, second layer being the actual image.

The image (layer 2) has a drop shadow, if i save it as a gif with the transparent background, the drop shadow isn't saved. If i save it as a PNG - the quality is great, drop shadow displays nicely, but again, IE displays this ugly blue color where the transparency is supposed to be.

Is it possible to save this image with the background being transparent as a gif without losing the drop shadow of the image?

The building I am working on is the shape of a jelly bean. The exterior glazing will be segmented and we are trying to make the building as dimensionally uniform as possible. IE 5'-0" Curtain Wall units. So each arc length needs to be perfectly divisible by 5'-0" and the transitions from one arc to the next must occur at a tangent point.

Eventually we will be developing the building in Revit 2013 but for now we are in ACAD 2013.

It doesn't happen all the time. But lately it is happening quite often in one particular project. The project is being preparred to be archived, although I'd still like to know what is happening.

All I'll do is close a timeline tab or move a clip on the desktop. Then I get the spinning beachball of death. It completely takes over the mac. At first I can slowly move my mouse around to force quit from the service monitor (have to keep it open all the time now). But if I let it go on for too long I can't move the mouse and the whole system hangs.
