I notice that product images in printed materials and online brochures of products take on a representive, but not so real look. All appear to be graphic with a shadow and no background. The knife is a catalog example and the shears were shot by me. Is there a process that I could use on the shears to achieve that effect? might not be using the correct keywords.

Once you flip the reflection layer,how do you bend the image so it's lined up in a curve to the main image?
To update serial number it's in the abot dialog box. But how about product key? Is there a way to change it without reinstalling the product?

Situation: Autodesk Revit MEP Suite 2013 to Autocad MEP 2013.
What I need to do is find an easy way to remove the white spacing around an item and have the item displayed tight to the edges.

With the intention of then being able to resize the image to the exact dimensions I require before then resizing the canvas size to create the exact amount of white spacing between the tops and bottom of the image.
If I am given a Photoshop CS3 software retail upgrade or full version, can I register this software in UK and benefit from future upgrades?

When I do, can I just type in the serial # to register the versions already on my system, or do I have to install the new versions? I am concerned about loosing the work that I have already done in Lightroom 2.

So then i went and bought Photoshop CS3 ( i got it for a good price). So i installed it, it want fine after i finished, i clicked on it to fun it and it says product license has expired. so i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it a few times and nothing.

I tried clicking the Do Not Register button and I even reinstalled Photoshop now but that damn screen keep coming back every time I open Photoshop. Forum: I need some expertise here. This error just started popping up on me today and I need to know what I can do to fix it without having to uninstall and reinstall the CS3 suite of Adobe Design. The error states: You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstallings and then reinstalling this product or contacting your IT administrator or Adobe customer support for help.
Now I have gone through three solutions. I have Windows Vista. Does someone know what is another solution? If the last resort is to uninstall and reinstall the software, did it begin to work for you then, if anyone else has ever had this problem? I would appreciate any responses anyone has.
Ive got design premium cs 3 today I update the adobe media player and none of my cs 3 software will open. I get a message saying
"Licensing for this product has stopped working"
I have older versions of Elements registered, and I have now uninstalled them. A friend of me shall install this earlier version and he wants ro register the product.

This can be very time consuming. Is there a way in Photoshop I can get it to automatically add, resize and place the design onto everey product template in every colour in the correct position in Photoshop and automatically save it to a certain location.

I have access to the fabric and can take pictures/scans of the fabric to extract the exact pattern and would like to overlay it onto an existing picture of a man with a proper dress shirt on to see how the fabric would look on the actual shirt.

I am trying to produce nutritional facts and text for product labels and it is looking somewhat pixelated. Some printer told me to use illustrator or quark and import that text to photoshop. Any better ideas?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am trying to start a line of nutritional supplements and need some advice on producing the labels. I have already used photoshop to produce a 1486 px wide by 600 pixels height that will be a 1.5"x3.5" label. I need to do this as inexpensively as possible and it is going on a plastic bottle. It should look like the glossy labels vitamin bottles have not regular white address labels. I will also be doing this for a 2X4 label.
My thoughts were to order a glossy type label that I can laser the logos onto at office depot or something. Anyone have any specific details with product info for me?
I'm trying to creat this effect. The best example I could find is the Windows Media player. Notice the beveled areas. They are not square with sharp corners or rectangular in shape. They are wavy. How is this done?

Specifically, has anyone found a cheap, practical alternative for creating simple image maps with polygonal click regions? I want to create an actual map, where you click on a city name and go to a web page on that city. Rectangles do not work, as the real world regions are not shaped that way -- it has to be polygons. Nor do I want the map to be physically sliced apart and reassembled with table elements. I just want to use the HTML map
and area tags.

I want to create an image that is 5.5" by 3.75" and 300 dpi. I created it, then noticed that the zoom was at 25%, thought nothing of it. I saved it and when I went to view it the image was like 9" by 9" or something like that, it was huge.
How do I create an image that is 5.5 x 3.75 with 300 dpi and have it display correctly? What am I doing wrong? Why is it that when I create that image it shows up at 25%? And not 100%?
I want to create an image with (intentionally) pixelated look. I have an original 12 megapixel image. When I zoom in Photoshop to the area of interest, I see the pixelated look that I want. I can crop an area of interest out of the original image, with the area being around 150 pixel in width. Now I would like to enlarge the size of the image to around 1500 pixel width, but keeping the pixelated look. And this is the part I do not know how to do. The interpolation algorithms in the Image Size tool do not produce the right effect - I want some algorithm which just clones each pixel by a factor of 10.
