Photoshop :: Ice Molecule
Feb 6, 2006i drew this image up with photoshop using a tutorial but i seem to have lost the tutorial and i'd really like to find it. I remember it was titled something like "ice molecule" and u have to use plastic wrap, and liquify and stuff but i'd like to be able to access the whole tutorial so i don't screw it up trying to remember the stuff on my own..

Nov 4, 2011We use C3D 2012 (metric only) - We are attempting to customize our list of structures for Sanitary Sewers. The structure list shows sizes we do not use and we would like to modify them. However, when we try to select the "Inner Diameter" it displays a list of sizes that we can not seem to modify or add to.
I have looked at some of the XML files to try and modify or add new sizes (example: AeccStructConcentricCylinder_Metric.xml) , but they do not seem to be recognized even after I restart the program.
Here is what the file looks like:

I tried modifying the last line replacing 2550 with 3600.
I also tried adding a line <Item id="i7">3600.0000</Item>
I saved the XML file and restarted the program with nothing changing that I can see.
Looking for correct file(s) to edit so I can modify the LISTS that come up in the piping modules.

Feb 12, 2008One good thing about null structures is the way they display in 3D. They cover that gap in the pipe segments. Can I steal that shape?
I am currently using a simple cylinder for water pipe "joints" and turning it off like most people do I think.

Nov 22, 2013Using digital photography to capture the image of a large poster printed with dot structure. Portions of the image have bands caused by the pattern of dots. Resizing and rotating doesn't reduce or eliminate.
What is the best way to remove these bands in Photoshop? Note: clone tool not satisfactory (causes fuzziness, blurring). Tried selecting the affected area(s) and using Gaussian Blur but bands are too wide. Same for Dust and Scratches.
Photoshop Elements :: Can't Make A Backup After Changing Directory Structure
Nov 6, 2012My first objective is to get a directory and its sub-directoried to agree as far as total file count is concerned and I'm not getting there. I have a directory the shows a total of 1082 files. When I totaled the number of files in the sub-directories I had 1080 files. I found two files that did not belong in the directory. I removed the tags from the two files (pictures) and then removed them from the catalog but not from the hard disk. They belong to a different catalog. When I totaled the sub-directories I got 1080 which meant the two files were gone from the sub-directories. But, the directory total was still 1082 and noted that two files were not shown. If they arn't in the sub-directories why are they counted in the main directory?

the problem is this, I want the same scenario to work on my laptop. I realize I can rebuild the structure on my laptop, but why take the considerable time to rebuild, if there is a file that contains the structure info and move it to my laptop.
Photoshop Elements :: Get Folders And Images Back To Correct Places In Original Path Structure
Sep 5, 2013Old PC Windows XP with PSE8. New PC Windows 8 with PSE11.I did a backup and restore operation. After the restore, there was a large list of files that could not be restored. I also noticed that there were a large number of thumbnails with a question mark attached.
I did a reconnect using FindAll missing files. Instead of placing the recovered files in their original path and folder location, they ended up in an entirely different path in the Folders View. I tried to drag the folders back to their original location, but got the message: folder with that name already exists at the requested location, even though it wasn't visible. In addition some of the folders involved were no longer visible in either path structure.
I checked in the My Folders View, and it showed that the folders involved in the reconnect were still intact. I opened one or two and found they contained the original missing images.How can I get the folders and their images back to their correct places in the original path structure?

Illustrator :: PDF Layer Structure?
Mar 22, 2013I have saved a mapinfo drawing with geographic info to a pdf. The layer structure in the PDF is what I expected and reflects the layer structure in mapinfo. When I open the pdf file in Illustrator howver I only get one layer.
Is there any way of keeping the pdf layer structure in illustrator?
Lightroom :: 5 Isn't Seeing File Structure?
Mar 1, 2014I just recently upgraded lightroom at the same time that I switched harddrives. Basically, I installed LR 5 on the new harddrive. Then I opened my LR4 catalogue on LR5 and had it do the "update" to the catalogue. Everything seemed to be working properly. However, this is the first time I have imported a memory card and it is really having problems.
I imported and had the files put into Pictures>Client Sessions>Weddings (and then wrote in the subfolder name). It shows in my finder that that is where the photos are. However, in Lightroom it is like creating a whole new section. For some reason it isn't "linking" to my current file structure. See the 2014 Mclennan-Reeser file. It is under "wedding" on my finder.
See how it is is like its own separate thing on my Lightroom (even though if you scroll down you will SEE the wedding folder. I have even tried to drag and drop it into "wedding" on LR... but it says it already exists OF COURSE IT DOES! I then tried to right click on 2014 McLennan and say "show parent folder", but it just creates a NEW "Wedding" folder in LR.

How can I change the BOM structure of the parts to Phantom, I really don't want them showing up in parts lists... and I'd prefer not to just shut off the visibility at that level. They are all set to "Purchased"... can this be changed? I tried opening the part and setting the default to Phantom, but since it is a CC part, I get an error message.

Jul 26, 2012Let's say i want to draw a bike. In the 2D IDW of the wheel I want to see the frame as a reference. So, in the .iam of the wheel the frame subassembly is inserted and checked as reference. Also, a new level of detail is created that surpressed the frame.This level of detail is used in the overall assembly of the bike.
So, I end up with several subassembly's that contain other subassembly's just to reference them in the IDW. It would be better to have just one master assembly and create several IDW's from that assembly with different LOD and reference settings.

Nov 2, 2011I am working on an assembly and trying to build a BOM. I am using the BOM editor to change everything on the fly but I am running into an issue. For some reason there are a few parts that don't want me to change their BOM structure. I change them from "Normal" to "Purchased" but they instantly change back to "Normal". I have all the files checked out and in the parts document settings it's BOM structure is actually correctly labeled as "Purchased".
