View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using PSE 10 with Windows 7, and I'd like to change the formatting of the captions on the photos I've got in slide shows, and those I'd like to print, i.e., change fonts, size, centered, etc. I've checked various manuals, online sources, and haven't found info on this.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI use CS4 on the Mac. I'm looking for an efficient solution for digitizing family photo albums. I know how to scan and fix the scanned image, if necessary. I know how to organize photos in Adobe Bridge. What I'm clear on is how to create captions for the photos that will will be permanently linked to the photo files and can be output for on-screen or print albums / galleries.
Also, what is a good tool for creating output? InDesign is an obvious possibility for print; but I was wondering if there is some sort of plug-in or companion product for PS designed specifically for generating albums and slideshows.

I am using PSE primarily for photos to my website and the photos need to be within a specific size. So when I import directly from my camera into an album, I need to check the size of each photo and edit the size before going to my website.
I have purchased a new computer (windows 8) and installed photoshop elements 11. My problem: I used to work with photoshop album 4.0 (on my old pc) and have thousands of pictures mapped to varios tags (person, locations, events, etc.). How can I now import this information from photoshop album into the organizer of photoshop elements 11?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am startiang from scrach since I only was able to transfer photos to a new hard drive. I installed elements 11 and connected with the photos on my hard drive. I have set up various albums and have placed photos in the album they belong. Now I was familar with earlier photoshop and by "tagging" the photo to a particular album. Then I could go to show untagged items to slowly organize the thousands of photos i have. But the same photos are still showing up in the media display. So what am I doing wrong. Is tagging something different from the earlier versions where you could drag an album label to the photo and then see it listed. The photos are showing up in the album but I see no tags.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just started working with Revel as I was hoping it would be a great way to get all the photos from all the different phones in our house into Elements.
I went to the effort of creating some albums called "Wife's Upload" etc to seperate each phone and then at my leisure I could import the photos from the upload folder into Elements and then purge them from the Revel upload folder.
The problem is when I choose to import from Revel it is showing me ALL the photos from ALL the albums, making this function almost useless. They went to the effort of allowing me the ability to choose the TARGET folder I want them going to - but not the SOURCE album on Revel? I am not finding an intuitive way to do this. Is it not possible?
every time I choose import I have to sort through ALL of the photos to find anything recent or separate that I have uploaded. This almost seems like nothing but a one time import function and not something very useful to people that are updating on a constant basis.
How do I import tags from another programme ie. Serif Album Plus?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to copy an album in Elements 8 to a DVD, but I cannot find a way to keep thim in the order that I have arranged them in the album. What is the correct procedure? It's a Windows 7 system.
Also, is there a way to create the DVD so it can be played on a TV DVD player?
I want to sort the photos in an album into date sequence, that is to say, oldest first. I want to keep the photos in the organiser in newest first sequence (I don't want that photo from zillions of years ago top of the list every time I open the organiser).
I can see "Sort by" at the top but that seems to apply to the selection of photos I have showing on the screen and does not appear to be an attribute that can be attached to an album. So if I select "Oldest" as the sort order, that works nicely for the album but then I go back to the organiser and it's in oldest first order. Not what I want. So I select "Newest", then go back to the album and the "oldest" sequence has been lost.
It was really easy in PSE8. It appears that what I am trying to do is impossible and Adobe have dropped the ability to associate a sequence with an album.
Incidentally, what does "Album order" mean? That implies that it is possible to set an album order somewhere.
I have Elements 10 on both my Dell Laptop and also on a HP PC. I want to copy an album that I created on the Laptop (3000 photos) onto the PC. When I try to export the Album to either the Laptop hard drive or DVD it fails and Elements shuts down. I don't want to do it via a backup as there are many photos I do not want to copy. How do I isolate the Album alone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHaven't used Elements in awhile, and actually, the chronological order was never a big deal. For this vacation, I really want them in the order taken by date because I used two different cameras.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my photos organized into albums. I would like to print a contact sheet for each album, but would like it to include the album name. This seems like a very basic part of organizing, but it's not overly apparent how to do it. I would also like to resize the caption font on the contact sheet, too.
