i have always used spacebar+command/alt to zoom in/out but now suddenly its not working..! command+spacebar now toggles the MOVE tool...!? spacebar+alt is still zoom out, and i noticed that the right command+spacebar is still fine but i just cant get used to using it i have always used the left command+spacebar....
I just downloaded the CC trial for photoshop, then started using the elliptical marquee tool but when I try to use the spacebar to move the selection the selection will only move a few pixels then wont move at all. Also i have the screen flickering problem.
Since Inventor 2010, the spacebar has the functionality of repeating the last command. We have an add-in that requires typing a short phrase. (You can see where this is headed)
Whenever you use the spacebar to seperate the words in the phrase, a new addin form opens in front of the old one.
This add-in is employing the WordWrapper code that Brian submitted some time ago to clear up a similiar issue when you used the Enter key, but the spacebar problem persists
Is there a way to disable this funtion? Or work around it?
I am using Photoshop Elements 9 and the "move" tool is not working. The Auto select layer box is checked and I have rebooted the computer and reset the move tool. I keep getting the error message "Could not complete the Move command because of a program error."
I just got AUTOCAD 2013 and I have problem using MOVE command. With my previous version AUTOCAD I was able to move one by one every line from the object I created. Now with the new version when I use MOVE command, not only one line is moved, it is moved the whole object (Like the object is a block, but is not).
How can I move only one single object from my drawing?
Having never used this command before I am struggling as to where it is located.I imported a U-Bolt in Solidworks format and I am just trying to move the nuts as indicated.
Whenever I use the move command on a line or series of lines that are touching other lines, the lines that aren't part of my selection move with that one line. cad-movecommand.jpg Here's a series of screenshots showing what I mean. I can't move just that line without moving the other lines around it.
How can i disable the automatic move command? when i choose the move command it automatically moves whatever element that's selected, using the previous dimension used to move something. Big Problem.
In CS4, holding the spacebar down when using another tool for panning does not work, in photoshop or anything else. Works fine when pan tool itself is selected. Very irritating behavior. I've used photoshop since v6, so I'm pretty use to the way it works. Same in Illustrator, InDesign, InCopy, and Acrobat.
Before I upgraded to AutoCAD 2014 (was using 2012) when I used the MOVE command on 3D geometry (while using the Realistic Visualization) I could see one object move into another. Like, moving a cylinder into a box to represent a button, and I would see it slowly sink into the box as I moved it further and further along.
In 2014, the object I am moving will REMAIN ON TOP visually of all other geometry until it is completely inside the other geometry (at which point it disappears completely). It's hard for me to then judge just how much of it is sticking out during the MOVE command. Once I complete the move command, the proper visualization order is then shown.
In other words, if I have a 10 inch cylinder, and I'm trying to move it into a box so only 2 inches sticks out (as a visual guesstimation), currently I would see ALL 10 inches of the cylinder whether part of it is inside the box or not, until I complete the MOVE command.
When I use the move command to, let's say, to move a floor plan (drag to new location on the page), some of the lines in the "moved" floor plan are either skewed or missing. I'm able to "cut and paste" as welll as "copy with basepoint" w/out problem.
MY AI is freezing, not allowing me to move or adjust, rotates without command. Just not listening . Sometime it will move other times cursor not responding.
I'm using PS5 version 12.1 and I'm arranging a lot of layers so I do a lot of zooming and then hitting the space bar to move around. But 90% of the time I get kicked into birds eye view. And I know for a fact that the hotkey for Birds Eye View is 'H' This extra step of getting kicked into birds eye view whenever I want to pan is tossing a monkey wrench into my workflow.
Not sure as to why this is happening, but like the title says anytime I use move or grab a grip point my osmode automatically changes itself to settings that I do not want. I can change my osnap settings while in the command to set them back to what I had originally had but this is very tedious and I have not experienced this with previous versions of acad.
From all my searching, the only thing I can come up with is; it is a setting within the acad1014doc.lsp but I am not sure.
The spacebar is no longer inserting a space between characters.
I tried switching from my wireless iMac keyboard to my wired Apple keyboard; replaced preference files; booted from several other partitions (that share the same Photoshop app); checked the character palette for kerning and tracking; and tried different fonts.
It may be that I have to trash the preference files and completely reset them... but I sure hope not.I've tried two backup preference files .
I am going to collect objectid's of the moved items in drawing after they moved to destination. So I wrote an event to monitor move command , by using object modified event handler. when I run below code for every entity it collects 2 object id. One before move and one after move. Is there any way to just collect object ids after they moved?
Class EVENTS Dim MyDwg As Document = Application.DocumentManager.MdiActiveDocument Dim Myed As Editor = MyDwg.Editor Dim Mydb As Database = MyDwg.Database Dim Myobjidcoll As ObjectIdCollection
I am getting these white "ghost" boxes with every copy, move or mirror command. They can be individually deleted but that takes too long. The more there are the slower each command takes, to the point a copy can take over a minute. If I save and close then when I reopen they are gone -- until I execute a command. This is unique to a single file I recieved from a friend using a PC based Autocad; I use Autocad for Mac. I had no trouble with his file until I did a "Save As" and used it as a base for a new file. Now, every file that is a copy of it, even any file in which I x-ref it, has the same problem. All of my original, older files are fine. There is simply too much work in these (now) five files to start over. See attached.
I am using the type tool in Photoshop CS6 (windows XP pro) and I am running into this weird issue. I have never seen anything like it before. It isn't my keyboard or computer, it only happens in Photoshop. When I am typing and I mess up and use backspace to delete a character, the next character I type in gets doubled. Random letters will pop up as well - such as when I type "S", the letter "U" shows up... when I press the spacebar, it adds an extra letter instead of a space (the following letter or previous letter used). The cursor gets placed before that second character too. I can delete it using backspace or delete but then if I press spacebar to continue, it shows up again and again. I can't get rid of the extra characters!
I've tried activating and de-activating various key locks on my keyboard to no avail. Is there some button I pushed or weird formatting I somehow accidently implemented?
Running the CS6 trial on a Windows 7 Laptop (x64). I was in Photoshop (64), and noticed that when I held down the spacebar to pan the open image, the hand icon would show but the tool will not work. No matter how many times I click and drag, the image stays still. If I select the MANUALLY select the hand tool it works, but the spacebar shortcut key is non-functional. This issue persists across both the 32 & 64 bit versions of Photoshop.
