I have created city/landscape artwork using photoshop line and box tools. If you go to URL... then click on the link that says (click here to view Gotham City) you will see one of the images I am talking about. Can this image be made to look the same in vector.

Like if i have a circle that i can fil in adobe and then open it in CD, it breaks it apart so i have to join curvs and what not. This is a huge problem when i import templates and such..

am trying to create one image made up of several jpgs side by side.
What can I do to make the jpgs blend in together to make it look like one image rather than 4 images sitting there in a row.
I try to sweep along spline that made of elliptical arc and line.
Funny thing that I was able to create a solid few days ago by doing this method. Now I can't!
I tried even reload Autocad.
Is there a way of examining a JPEG image that has been 'through' PS and seeing which PS filters/adjustments have been made to it?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an xref file named Base.dwg. I need to replot a drawing (Overall_Road.dwg) which has Base.dwg as xref
I changed the line type of one layer in the Base.dwg file. Changed from DASHED2 to continuous line. Saved and closed Base.dwg
When I open Overall_Road.dwg, the line type doesn't update. I opened "Layer" window and under Linetype, it shows "Base|DASHED2".
How can I fix it to show the updated line type?
I think that is it name were you can put the image in to the text, bevel and embos so the text looks like a water mark made up from the image. can this be done in elements 11

View 4 Replies View RelatedEver wondered how to perfectly fill an outline with touching circles? I did -- after seeing the example image in Solving design effect - image made of perfectly arranged circles.
It took me a while to get the proper calculations, but -- Here It Is! A Javascript, written for Illustrator CS4 (it might work on other versions as well), that fills a selected outline with circles. Download zipped script from my site: [URL] ...., unpack if necessary, and put it in your Illustrator Scripts folder to make it available the next time you run Illy, or anywhere else (you have to browse for it each time).
Select any path -- but no live text; you have to convert it to outlines and select each character in turn. Then run the script.
It displays a simple dialog, where you can set a maximum and minimum circle size as a percentage of the selected object size. In addition, you can select either a plain basic color, or select any of your current Swatch Groups; in that case, each of the circles are filled with a random color from that group.
The script may take a while to run. Usually, only a couple of seconds for a simple rectangle, but it may run into minutes for objects with lots of curves and/or holes. I didn't have the guts to run it on a vectorized world map, to recreate Mario "Quasimondo" Klingemann's Foam World Map; but, in theory? Possible.

I think I should probably make the brushes in CS6 to be good for CC and CS6, but thought I'd ask if it's possible to just make them in CC. Would save me having to keep CS6 on my computer.

for some weird reason all of a sudden the adjustments I make to my images in ACR are not carrying over when I open them in CS5. I've cheked the Adobe website to make sure I have the latest versions of both ACR & CS5 & I do. Any thoughts on how I can correct this? Very frustrating to adjust 10 - 15 wedding images in ACR then they're right back to the original image when I open them in CS5.
View 11 Replies View RelatedWhen I save photoshop documents on my Mac they are unable to be opened on windows. This happens roughly 60% of the time. The only way I have learned to resolve this problem is to create a new photoshop document, copy all of the layers into this new document, and save it again. The Mac is new - about three weeks old. We save all of our files on an external harddrive backed up on the Mac. All of our computers run CS6.
