I have created a slide show in Image Ready and it functions correctly. Except.....when I put it on my web page in either Photoshop or Dreamweaver it doesn't work.
I have Photoshop CS2.
I just bought and loaded PS C4 after uninstalling my PS CS2 and noticed that CS4 doesn't come with ImageReady. I've been reading online that ImageReady has migrated into PS CS4. Now the droplets that a company I contract for created don't work. They were created using Photoshop 7.0 and have worked for every PS version until this one. I don't know how to create the droplets using Photoshop CS4. What's going on with ImageReady? Is there something I can do to make these droplets work? Or do I have to create new ones?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI can not make anything in 3D. I think in CS3 it doesnt work too. But in graphic programs like MAYA and 3DS MAX i can make 3D objects and others but in Photoshop not. In Photoshop CS 4 I opened new document, with brush i wrote "Hello" and clicked on menu "3D" but there is everything disable :-/. My graphic card is "Ati Mobility Radeon XPRESS 200 series.
View 6 Replies View Relatedmy keyboard short cut for ctrl+ a doesn't work, for some reason. All the other keyboard shortcuts work, except for that one (At least i think so..). I read through numerous threads about why keyboard short cuts do not work. 1. they are cracked copies of photoshop, 2. they are using logitech keyboards.
But I'm not using a cracked copy, and I just upgraded my logitech drivers to the newest ones.. and the problem just started yesterday without any reason. But when I change my short cut from ctrl a to.. something else, say alt+ctrl+a. it works.. but I prefer the old ctrl A.
Right click open with PS7 doesnt work. Every time i select it, it opens in windows picture viewer. But i can open it in illusttrator 4 some reason.

In my projects I regularly use the ready-made frame and border designs that are available in the “content” section of PSE. I thought that a more extensive program like CS6 would offer a larger variety of ready-made frames, but I have been unable to find any at all. (PC, Win7 OS, PS CS6 vers. 13.0 x64)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm exporting a Photoshop design into Dreamweaver. I know HOW to slice, but I'm having a hard time finding the reason WHY to slice an image for importing into Dreamweaver. Why not just import the whole image, as a single, whole image?
I'm also having trouble finding the best way to slice an image. This is all very new to me. I looked at a webpage I created almost 5 years ago (my first exposure to web design) and I sliced the top of the page into 3 images - I had two prominent images on either side and the middle was the background. I then divided the middle bar (with the buttons) and made each of the buttons their own slice/image.
However, I just came across a website where they ultimately have their design sliced into just three images - a logo, buttons and a top layer image.This is the site I came across: URL.....
My slicing looks something like the opening image under the "Killing the Clutter" heading of this website, not the closing image (their goal) under the same heading.
Why are they singling out the logo? Should I be doing this with my design?Why are they including all buttons within one slice, instead of individual slices? Is this OK to do? For purposes of the rollover image, I thought they had to be separated.They're not saving the background. Should they be? Unless they're importing the background as one large image.
who might recommend not slicing an image and doing stuff with code instead, but I don't have the knowledge to go that route and I have to slice the image.
I am having trouble placing a rollover image onto a Dreamweaver CS6 page. I use Photoshop 7.0 and the program Adobe Image Ready which came with it. I have been successfully placing my animations created in this older Image Ready software onto Dreamweaver pages.
I simply insert the image and the animation plays in live view, preview and on the web. I'm having trouble however placing animations that have rollover effects onto a web page. ImageReady gives me multiple gif files for the slices associated with the rollover instead of just one gif for an animation without rollover, and an html file if I want one. I don't know how to handle the multiple gifs and the html file.
I make brushes for sale. I make versions vor CS2+ and I make larger brushes for CS6+.
I think I should probably make the brushes in CS6 to be good for CC and CS6, but thought I'd ask if it's possible to just make them in CC. Would save me having to keep CS6 on my computer.
i used photoshop to design the website sliced it with image ready and imported as html..but then i check out the website some of the image is pixelated..how can i fix it.to view it as the same thing as i see it in photoshop while designing?

I've tried to to select an area with the marquee tool and then I click on the little orange feather in the lower right of the tool box. I've tried to paste my desired URL into the web link field but I can never get it to work. Can this really be done? How does an image with a link get saved? Jpeg?

try to open a document with Image Ready, or save my new web-version image after jumping from Photoshop to Image Ready, I get an error message:

Normally, when I collect a bug somewhere and Photoshop starts getting glitchy I just reinstall it, but that doesn't work. I really need to use Image Ready!
I am using a PC with Wxp pro (service pack 2+), and Photoshop 7.0.
Just started usin it. Its not being very useful because of one thing.. How do you make it so that when you duplicate a frame, then go to edit the first one, whatever changes are made to the first frame don't go to the 2nd? don't really no how better to say it.

I create what I want using the first image and when I select the second image it starts a new animation. I am trying to create an animation using 9 images that will dissolve from one to the other.
As a follow up, I found a tutorial that says open 2 photos in PS and drag one onto the other to form 2 layers each with a different photo. When I go to drag the one onto the other it makes the photo I'm dragging the active one. How do I open 2 photos, or more?
in slicing using Image Ready, i cab get the optmization done perfectly, but when i open it using FrontPage and try to edit the " empty space " -which is in the middle - in my case, i got all the images on the sides falling apart !!
is it better to do it using dream weaver !
When the mouse is moved over the link I get image boxes opening above and below the link but with no image in them. I have also noticed that Image ready has imported many of the graphics files with names such as Index_7-Index_14_over.gif so the file is not only the slice for Index 7 but the over gif as well. Im not sure what I am doing wrong but here is the page to show what I mean. I have redone the slices and rollover effects three times but still cannot..

I wanted to embed a video within a picture so this is what I did: The background was sliced using image ready and a small video was inserted in the appropriate cell. The tricky part was to encode the video to be the same size as the sliced cell.
