View 1 Replies View Relatedwhy custom made nibs thunbnails show as black dots in PhotoPaintx6? Also when I select one of them...it just sprays a dot instead of my image? I saw where others are having the same problem. Some are and some aren't. As long as I leave the custom made nibs loaded they display and spray correctly. If I load the default nibs or any other nibs then go back and load the custom nibs..that's when I get the black dots. I've remade my nibs several times thinking I did something wrong but that's not the problem.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am working with vector art that has lines that either look like they were cut off and not finished out or extend to the edge of the page so they are straight when they should actually be curved.
Is there any way to take a straight line or part of an image and curve it with ease or will I have to redraw or alter each line?
Last night in CS5 I was playing with the opacity and spacing of the brush, and now I can't get back to a normal brush.I want just a normal stroke, but the brush is making lots of transparent dots instead. I've switched to Photoshop Elements 7 for now and everything is fine there, it's only CS5.

Note: I tried creating outlines & using the dashed stroke setting but that only allows me to turn the outline/stroke of the letters into dots... I need to change the actual fill into dots.
I'm trying to figure out how to create an image of a solid line into one with a dotted line. this isn't a matter of spacing, but rather filters of some sort (i'd imagine). See this example for the best explanation:
I had the first image (from a brush) and created the second by hand. I literally took a layer and traced the original with dots, making them larger or smaller as I went along. There must be a better way! So I'm looking for the way to convert a line of varying widths to a single dotted line of various-sized dots. make sense?
I'm looking for a something similar to the new orbit packaging.
I'm trying to create a banner with a line a little down from the top, the line must look engraved/sunken. I'm not sure what to call the effect. Here's an image with text that looks engraved:

View 13 Replies View RelatedOriginally, I'd used linear transparency on image#1 which caused a line that showed up only on a Ricoh-generated hard proof. I kept the transparency of image#1 and converted it to a bitmap, so no lens, but still the line. Finally I ditched the transparency I'd applied to image#1 and placed image#2 over image#1 to achieve the fade-out of image#1 that I had originally intended. Now image#2 is creating a line only evident when printed on that bloody Ricoh!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to make this effect on a photo. Its abit difficult to explain, but I'll try:
The image only contains one color, say black or red, and is put together by dots in different sizes and with different space between them, not sure, might just me different space between them. In the dark areas they are close to each other and in lighter areas they have a greater distance between each other.
I also wonder how to make the same kinda dot effect, but not with only one color. like magazies and newspaper use when they print photos. Im not reffering to the halftone filters. I tried to define a dot pattern, and delete the inverted pattern in the image, but im not satisfied with the results...

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a donut shaped image, including the "donut hole" inner circle. The donut contains swirls made up of different colors. The problem is, when I apply the cut contour line to the image, it wants to cut the lines inside the donut, along with the outer and inner circle.
When I apply boundary, it does not include the cut line on the inner circle. I want to print/cut, and want the circle gone.
