View 5 Replies View Relatedquite puzzled about the following. within illustrator i am trying to create a pattern of squares, with the squares themself slowly transiting (gradient) from 1 color to another...
see image below
i made 4 little squares, used them as a swatch. filled a big rectangle with the swatch and expanded the object again so all squares are now individual elements...
now all i need is the full gradient from left to right but filling each square with one fixed color.
Is there an easy way to create stripes, multi-color dots, etc?

I think a simple macro would do the trick?
What function do these points? I think the "MICRODOT" is for an accurate print.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am using CorelDRAW X4. I would like to add the Screen Dots to my texts or objects, but I don't know what to do, so who knows about this?
View 14 Replies View RelatedI am working in printing press, when I am giving trace sheet print. The grey color was coming dots.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI work in a print shop. We do a lot of work with a printing press as well as our digital machines. Whenever we design something digitally that has grayed areas or logos, and we want to print it using our press, we need to make sure the shaded areas have "dots" so that the ink from the press will spread evenly.
In CorelDRAW X4, I used to to have it sent to the general PANTONE uncoated palette. After selecting the gray area, I would double click the color box at the bottom right, bringing up the fill window. From here, I selected the Options drop down menu, then PostScript Options. Here I could set the dots and the frequency.
Now that we've updated to CorelDRAW X5, the palette options are quite different. I want to have one centralized PANTONE unocated set that stays for everything I work in. And the big problem, is that when I do find a good gray to use (after clicking through way too many choices), the PostScript Options is grayed out and can't be clicked on.
Let's say, for example, that i create an object with a size, then i create other objects with other sizes.
When I try to see the size of the first object created it says that has the same size like the other objects which have other sizes (it's even obvius cause they r bigger on my screen:D).With all the other versions of Corel i didn't had those problems, but X5 does that.
I'm doing a project for my college work & it involves pop art. I wanted to do something in the style of Warhol or Lichtenstein. Then i stumbled across this...
I was just wondering if anyone knew a filter/plug in for this or a technique to do this in photoshop?
I'd like to make some dots similar to this attached clip. I have tried embossing, etc. but they don't look quite like this. I'm on a MAC, Photoshop CS3.

View 2 Replies View RelatedYou know in some designs, maybe the Sun Viser sticker on a car window screen would be the easiest way to describe this, its basically a pattern of dots were they start off big and joined and eventually fade to small spaced out dots... does anyone know how to do this?... I'm hoping there is a gradient plug in effect out there?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've tried using Brush dynamics and spacing, but can't figure out how they got it to taper in two directions. Is this a pattern or something?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI created a Multileader style in AutoCAD LT 2011 that worked pretty good. Basically a keynote callout with a tick on one end and a circle on the other end. After using AutoCAD LT 2012 it was noticed that there was a small dot in all the circles. It seems that if your Multileader type is set to "block", your source block is set to, whatever (triangle, circle, etc...), and most importantly, if your attachment is set to "Insertion Point", a very small dot is placed in the insertion point. It prints as well. When the same drawing is opened with AutoCAD LT 2011, the problem disappears.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just bought the PHOTOSHOP CS4, and I am having problem when it prints. The image is not clear, it has dots (pixels). This computer where I installed this program is brand new. I have previously worked with Photoshop CS2 and never had an issue but was force to buy this new one because the computer that I bought has Windows Vista and CS2 is not compatible. I thought maybe the problem was my printer but is not I have a Brother HL-5140 (black and white). I have connected my old computer with the printer and the images print perfectly fine. I have printed photos and it prints clear. But this only happens with Photoshop CS4. It prints dots.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to make this effect on a photo. Its abit difficult to explain, but I'll try:
The image only contains one color, say black or red, and is put together by dots in different sizes and with different space between them, not sure, might just me different space between them. In the dark areas they are close to each other and in lighter areas they have a greater distance between each other.
I also wonder how to make the same kinda dot effect, but not with only one color. like magazies and newspaper use when they print photos. Im not reffering to the halftone filters. I tried to define a dot pattern, and delete the inverted pattern in the image, but im not satisfied with the results...
I have just aquired a copy of my great grandmother, unfortunatly it came from a newspaper or a magazine. However I would like to remove the halftoning and then later colorize it. The latter should be no problem as I've done tht before, but those pesky halftones have me stumped. I have tried using gaussian blur and unsharp mask but it looks a bit iffy if you know what I mean.
View 9 Replies View Relatedi really like the effect of half tone dots but i dont know how to acheive it.

How would I go about creating an effect, like the blue dots around this page?

View 4 Replies View Relatedwhen you select the warp tool etc you get in the tools options bar a square made of nine dots and you can select one.
I thought it selected an anchor point but it appears not.
tell me the correct name for this "square" so I can search the help files and web.
I have a hatch Pattern 'DOTS' (A default AutoCAD Pattern) filled in an area in my drawing. The layer is plottable. The pattern is in proper scale (I have attached a screen shot). Now, when I publish a PDF, though it shows up in the preview, it is missing in the pdf.
