I updated my CS6 programs (no Creative Cloud) and now Photoshop doesn't open anymore (Macbook Pro 2012, Mavericks). All other CS programs work fine. Error message says that this Mac type does not support Photoshop CS6.

View 10 Replies View RelatedBasically the problem I have after just downloading CS4 is that, other than loving the improvements to the program, I'm irritated by the fact that I can't see the effect of any adjustments I make in the layers pallete until I click on the actual picture, or zoom it in or out. Occasionally it will update on it's own but most of the time not. Anybody ever had this problem? Could it be related to the GPU thing -- maybe need new drivers?

The example would be that I have stuff made from way back that the colors/dimension sytles ect dont match the current standard and upon opening a file where they are not current, it would either prompt to update immediatly OR update automatically with no prompting (preferred method).
I am doing a massive amount of updates from old files recently and to save myself 1 - 3 clicks per drawing would be wonderful.
My problem is that NewBlueTitlerEx stopped to work after graphic driver (catalyst bundle) update to the newest stable certificated version. Before it worked fine now this error appear (not enough GPU power). I work on standard "box" PC, so no power management issue here, I reinstalled the program and checked DX, even got the latest 4.5 Microsoft framework net. I have got other NewBlue Essentials that work fine. Is there a newer version of that Titler (recognizing correctly newer graphic drivers), or maybe some modifications in Windows registry to bypass WRONG GPU recognition?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've just installed Extension Manager Update 6.0.5.9 yesterday and today I've get a wired problem with my bambo tablet.I've used this tablet for 3-4 years without problem. The problem I've now is when I drag lasso tool on an image to make selection it doesn't make a selection even it is showed in the history state that I've used lasso,or magnetic lasso.
My machine is a Mac Pro 2010,Quad-Core Intel Xeon running on Lion 10.7.5 and my bamboo driver is the latest version 5.3.2-2. Even now I've change to use freeform path I've still cannot change form path to selection.
I try to 'lock' a beam system that I have used for rafters to the underside of my roof.I've successfully got the walls and gables linked in with the roof, and have set up reference planes for cutting of rafters (that should - I think - mean that rafters can move slightly - or change pitch, whilst maintaining same cut extents at rafter ends).
Trouble is - the rafter Beam System does not update with the roof.
My creation approach for the Beam System was to select the underside of the roof as the 'Working Plane' - then edit the boundary to project beyond the walls and form the overhang. I projected it further than I required to provide the excess needed in case I wanted to push the cut plane outwards.
I assumed that selecting the underside of the roof as the working plane would 'lock' the two together, but it doesn't appear to work.Have I missed a straightforward step to link the two elements together ?

Now i enlarged holes in the source part, but there was an error message in the derived part that the export status of the source isn't on, and that i should use design doctor.
Where is the control on the export status and what is it, i didn't see anything unusual in the parameters.

I cannot make new holes in the derived part in the place of the old ones since it says i have first to exclude the source.
Every so often when I save for web and try to change the resolution to something else it doesn't update. CS5 had an apply button, but there isn't one CS6. I find that I have to enter different numbers a few times until it finally updates and I can save.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm on the latest version of CS6 and since the last update (7.3) I've noticed that the JPG's won't open up without going through ACR first. I don't have the box checked in Preferences that states that JPG's can open up with a double click in ACR. If I want a JPG to open up in ACR, I right mouse click and choose ACR. The only way to get a photo to open up in PS without going through ACR first is to have it as a PSD. It doesn't matter where the photo comes from for this to happen.
I have been scanning in a lot of old snap shots and when I click on the scanned photo that needs to go through the Automate to separate and straighten, I have to go through ACR first, then open it in PS, do the automation and save as a PSD. Then I can do the rest of the restorations in PS.
These old photos don't need to be 30-100 mg and be saved as PSD's. JPG's are just fine. This didn't happen until the last update. I'm on an iMac with plenty of storage space and RAM memory.
Has the update changed video card requirements to 512mb for all cards? I have a HIS Radeon HD3850 256mb pci-e card that allowed gpu acceleration under photoshop 11.0 but with the upgrade it is now grayed out. Confusing since adobe's not so updated kb articles indicates 512mb is recommended but 256mb should still give some of the openGL functions.

I have a corridor that uses the Urban Sidewalk subassembly along the streets. During my rough design phase I set the outside boulevard widths to 2.00, and create a corridor surface using the Top Links as breaklines. I then do my lot grading, using that surface as a surface pasted into my FG surface. All of my side yard swales go up to the edge of the corridor's boulevard, with the elevation set 0.20 below the corridor surface. Once all of the design is done, I go back to the corridor and change the boulevard width to 0, thus forcing those side yard swales to now go up to the back of walk.this creates a small depression where we place small drain inlets.
Herein lies my problem, when I change the boulevard width from 2 to 0, the corridor surface never changes to reflect the 0' width. It's as if the break lines that I told the surface to use from the Top links are holding fast. The ONLY way I have been able to get the surface modeled correctly is to completely delete the corridor surface and create a new one and recreate the boundary, which I then need to re-paste and move to the top of the Edits in my FG surface. Just deleting and readding the Top Links from the corridor surface definition does not solve this.
the corridor-created breaklines do not get revised when the corridor changes, and cannot be edited/deleted by the user. Perhaps I am doing, or not doing, something that is forcing these breaklines to persist..
I'm just trying out LR5. I've watched vidoes where in LR4 you can setup a slideshow to play from a folder, and while the slideshow is playing you can take new photos from a tethered camera and it will automatically add it to the slideshow.
In LR5, on my computer (Mac), the incoming photo seems to get stuck and does not make it into the slideshow. I have to stop the slideshow, and restart it to see the new incoming photo taken by tethered camera. I need this function for an event, so I'm just wondering whether I'm doing something wrong, or whether it is a bug in LR5?
I've selected the mode "Use: All Filmstrip Photos". What I've observed is that while playing the slideshow without going fuill screen, a newly taken photo from the tethered camera appears as a white tile, but then the thumbnail contents do not change. When I stop the slideshow, the photo then gets "Developed" and then it will be in the slideshow the next time I play it.
After renaming, I have to deselect and reselect images to have the filename update.

First, the rim to sump value will not change with sump defined by depth and trying to change the sump depth (going deeper and no rules exist). Second, change to define sump by elevation and the sump elevation changes and the grip changes to the correct elevation, but the part outline doesn't change. I've read where the part catalogue location should be updated. I did.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a few lists in my form. The first one decides what information the other lists should have, so none of the choices are the same. I should first add that I have the "OK, Cancel, Apply" option.
Is there any way that I can make the other lists update automatically when I chose something in the first one? The only time they update is when I press the "Apply"-button.
I have parameters and rules that decide what lists should be shown at what option from the first list so I don't think that is the problem.
Using 2013 sp1.1...After I change the hole size in the part, the callout in my hole note does not update. (crazy, I know).
If I pull a new hole note after the change, it has the correct dimension. But, if I change the hole size again, this new hole note does not update.I put the part on a new idw and it updates correctly, so somehow the idw is hosed.
Looking forward to this update because i use a Fuji X pro 1 and I had read that lightroom 4.4 now supports this camera and sensor.
However after updating all I get in the Lens adjustment under Fuji is the Fuji x100 which has been their for some time.The exif info is showing the correct camera and lens used etc.
I have tried uninstalling and then manually removing any left over files and folders with no luck.
Do i have to install support for this camera as an addon?
Also if i look in the lightroom folder Camera profiles/camera it only lists Canon, Nikon and Sony
It is 27 miles of waterline broken into 3 mile segments.The problem is with the profiles that have been cut. The existing ground surface has been sampled along the alignment and multiple profile view made from that alignment. When the alignment changes, the only way that the surface seems to update is to run the "profiles; create profiles from surface command again" at which point it adds a new profile into the profile views reflecting the current surface over the alignment, then the "old" profile must be deleted from the profile views. Everything is set to dynamic, yet certainly is not being very dynamic.

I changed the line type of one layer in the Base.dwg file. Changed from DASHED2 to continuous line. Saved and closed Base.dwg
When I open Overall_Road.dwg, the line type doesn't update. I opened "Layer" window and under Linetype, it shows "Base|DASHED2".
How can I fix it to show the updated line type?
I have a 15 MacBook Pro retina display, with an external thunderbolt display. Since the 13.1 update, all files that I open in Photshop open at 50% zoom. How can I reset it so they open at 100%? It's really annoying to have to constantly zoom everything that is opened up.
