CS3 / XP Home. I am trying to print a 7 by 10 in image using my old Canon BJ200 printer. On Page Setup the right margin always default to 2.5 in,despite repeatly input to defferent numbers. I've lowered the image to 300dpi with no effect on print setting.What can I do?
View 4 RepliesI'm looking for a way to print CDs (to Canon ip8500 and ip4300 printers) directly from Photoshop. I'm on x64 where Canon's CD Lable-print won't run, besides which I'd much prefer to print from Photoshop anyway. Is there a plug-in, a work round, a clever trick?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have stiched together six photos to make a panorama photo. When I go to print that combination photo only one of the six photo shows up in the Print window. Only one photo is printed, not the panorama one. I tried using the Finder > Print box and the copy of the panorama photo I had in a folder on the my desktop. That worked. I want to use photo paper for the print and make some adjustments, that doesn't work from the Finder > Print selection. The original panorama photo was a TIFF file and ended up to be 155MB, but I made a copy in JPEG and that file was 13.2MB.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble printing an image that's longer than 11 inches. I have a Canon i560 printer, and use either PS 7 or PS CS.
I want to print an image that's 6 x 16 inches, using 13x19" paper that I've cut in half the long way. I specified Custom (for size), and got approximately the correct width, but it stops printing after 11 inches. I also tried printing a JPG version of the image using WindowsXP print utility, and it allowed me to specify a custom size, but it also stops printing after 11 inches in length.
I cannot print I get the message 'Because the requested printer does not exist'. I can print via WORD or Paintshop Pro.

In the top left-hand corner both horizontal boxes are stating that the size is 7x5. I have double checked all the settings. Using a Epson 4900 printer sent to US letter, the only thing that is checked is zoon to fit, rotate to fit and show guides. am I doing something wrong or is this a program error that needs to be addressed?

I go into page setup and the properties of my printer and set the page layout to borderless and click OK.

However, I am unable to set the margins to zero. When I go back into my page setup and check the page layout, it has reverted to normal so it has ignored my setting.

View 9 Replies View RelatedSomeone would like a small 1 inch by 1 inch logo for invoices at 600 DPI. However I understand that illustrator doesnt work in DPI or PPI since it's vector. Would I have to transfer the small image over to photoshop. I did try and save a 1 inch by 1 inch logo at 600 PPI, however when I saved the image it was no longer 1 inch by 1 inch. It had increased significantly in size regardless of what file format I saved the image as.

For example, if I select the Rectangle Tool, click in the art space and set the rectangle to one inch by one inch, I get a box that is 1.0003 by 1.0003

This is a major issue for me as I use illustator for creating dielines and those dielines need to be very accurate.
I am designing a business card that has lime green as a main color, and I am finding it impossible to find a commercial printer that will print in RGB! I completely understand the difference between the 2 color pallets I just don't understand why I can not find one printer that will print RGB! So does that mean any business card I ever do can never have bright colors?
View 10 Replies View RelatedJust bought a new iMac with OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2). Installed my HP PhotoSmart C4180 printer and its drivers, it prints fine from Adobe Acrobat and scans just fine. I went to print from Photoshop CS5, and once I decided my settings and hit "Print" the program crashed and has done so consistently. I've provided the crash report below.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to print a psd file via CS4 and I am receiving the following error message: Before you can perform printer-relate tasks such as page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer I DO have a printer installed and can in fact print out a different psd file.....and print something via Word. I tried to check my page setup for this document but I can't do that either. Any ideas of what might be causing this problem?? I even uninstalled and reinstalled my printer.....and rebooted too. If it matters, I am trying to print to a Canon MP980 printer via a wireless setup. I am running under Vista.

But just now, when I went to print, and tried to click the Print settings... button, nothing happens. I have tried using Software Update and installed the latest Epson Printer Software, and tested several other applications, and the printer is connected and working fine in those.
View 7 Replies View RelatedAfter cropping a photo in cs4 i have tried hitting the return key as well as edit/crop and then my photo disappears and the image box reduces in size to about 1 inch square with no image. I have expanded the image box but nil photo. This has never happened before.
I reloaded cs4 onto my computer but the problem still exists. I have also tried out opening the file from Bridge as well as Photoshop with the same result.

Cs6 does not crash. Just won 't print. My printer dialog box says error printing then recover file , but when i try again nothing. everything else seems okay. I restarted CS6 and rebooted computer , still no printing. View 2 Replies View RelatedI cannot seem to see the custom Printer Profiles I have for certain papersin the Print Dialog.I have added the Print Profiles to Library > Application Support > Adobe > Color > Profiles (and also in Recommended)

But in the Print Dialog under Colour Management > Photoshop Handles Colour > Print Profile - they are not showing. I have done things like restarting Photoshop and converting the image to CMYK from RGB.

I can see the profiles in the Proofing menu and am able to select them.without using the profiles my colour management is completely off kilter.Also, can I confirm that I am putting the printer profiles in the correct folder?
Note that the Illustrator, Indesign and Acrobat print dialogues see all my (custom) printer profiles.

Even Photoshop sees them in the Apply Profile and Convert to Profile dialogues: just not when trying to print.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been a long term Photoshop (elements) user, but rarely use it. I primarily use Aperture. I have a shot that I've printed successfully in 20 X 20 on aluminum and would like my next print to be bigger, 30 X 30 would be ideal.
I have a JPG Aperture export that measures 2318 X 2318 pixels. I was talking to a person at an art show this weekend, discussing my goal for this photo and he mentioned a feature of Photoshop that can take this image and basically adds more pixels. It's a 3 second motion shot in low light, so I'm not too worried about losing sharpness.
Here is a 1024 X 1024 export of the photo.
