I have been looking through my PS & for the life of me I cannot find
anything remotely close to the jpeg attached, either I am overlooking
something or it's just not there.

This is so interesting.I use ''knockout2, remask3'' for cutting and ''Imagenomic Portraite'' for retouching.That never happened in CS4 32-bit.
Now i use CS6 64-bit and whenever i APPLY an effect/filter (include PS's Refine Edge) or plugin, there happens a strong white border/line on the image.
I can delete it by using so many ways like ''contract'' but it kills the details.
why is that happening?This must be an option or something cuz it never happened in any other photoshops that i used.I used the same plugins.
Is there any way to get the broken symbol in a broken dimension like shown below?

I've installed 32-bit CS6 and now everything works perfect.No white lines after applying/resizng anything.
I inserted an indesign document of 42 A2 pages into a new indesign A1 landscape document to enable me print two sheets per page on an A1 drawing, and cut afterwards. How do I make sure the border line in the middle is also printed so I have a reference line where to cut the paper equally into two?

It dates from the very beginning as far I can tell... whatever image you like to export and whatever its format: png, gif, jpg, there is always one grey pixel border line at the edges. This happens when AA is activated (and deactivate it is not an option if you know what I mean).
I have been reading some threads and no matter what I do: Exporting with or without the background or changing its color... it's always happening.
I Have now installed the trial version of Corel Draw X5 (sp1 included) as I do with every release in order to check out if the problem persist... but no luck for me: nobody seems to be taking care of this issue. I really don't know why Corel is bumping off some many (potentially) buyers like me and many others... why Corel is keeping this issue unresolved year after year, release after release?

I have a drawing that has a white background.
I would like to add more to the white background to make it bigger without having to stretch it and distort the image.
I want to place a circle shaped outline border around the original image with a set border thickness and color and be able to crop/remove the portion of the image beyond the outline, changing it from a square/rectangle image to a circular image.
If I am not able to change the drawing to have a round outer border from square, how can I make the outer parts past the newly created circular outline transparent?
Per the attached exhibit, how to get the plot border to cover the entire sheet border instead of just the bottom left corner.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI shoot strictly in raw (nef from a D80). All of a sudden a few days ago CS decided it did not want to open raw files any more, tiffs and jpgs still work fine. The first thing I tried was to download the latest raw plugin for CS and install it, still resulting in the same problem. I then proceeded to uninstall and reinstall CS in a few different ways, but to no avail. I also tried opening a raw file from my backup drive with the same results. The specific error message is "could not complete your request because of a disk error," which doesn't mean much to me but I am getting the idea that it is a problem with my machine and not the CS software itself.
View 10 Replies View RelatedSince switching to CS6 when I create an image resize action in Photoshop the action runs correctly but if I create a droplet then the action makes the image width and height deminsions the same matching neither from the action.
It makes a 2550 x 1880 image, that I'm trying to convert to 612 x 432 into a 512 x 512 image. It also seems to be having an issue with eps files, because when I open the same eps again and run the action it adds a '-1' then '-2' then '-3' and so on, to the end of the name.
I've tried it on three Macs works the same on each one. I'm try to convert .eps files created in illustrator to .gifs for web preview. I can make an action in Illustrator, but there's no droplet. And if I save the files in .ai then the action for the droplet won't make it past opening the files. Even though suppress action open prompts are turned off.
I created a set of actions a few weeks ago and have been using them regularly. Today all of my actions with curves are no longer working (giving the same effect).
Instead of having the settings I put up on the curves layer, an empty curves layer comes up instead. Is there a way to fix this?
i have broken text is what someone told me, and its causing photoshop not to open.
but i have over 3000 fonts in my windows fonts folder
how can i find and take out the broken text more effetively?
I was downloading pictures from someone's memory chip and when I wanted to use the pics, I got an error of "broken picture" and can't proceed any further....

I can toggle the tools bar on and off, but all that appears is the little slice of blue with the feather on - no tools, and no obvious way to get them back! This is my 'Preferences' window, as you see the text is missing and it just generally looks weird as crap. That's the same with all the windows etc.
Then I added my old fonts because I was setting up this new PC (1k+ fonts) and then I got this problem. already tried re-installing Photoshop several times, deleting configs and restarting my computer but nothing seems to work and the problem persists...
