Photoshop :: White Strip / Border / Line / Edge On Cutout / Resized Image?

I've installed 32-bit CS6 and now everything works perfect.No white lines after applying/resizng anything.

Photoshop :: White Border / Line On A Cut Out Image
Jun 13, 2012Here's the thing happens :
1- BEFORE (a clean cutted image) :[URL]....
2- Using a plugin : (also with others): [URL]....
3- AFTER (white border) : [URL]....
This is so interesting.I use ''knockout2, remask3'' for cutting and ''Imagenomic Portraite'' for retouching.That never happened in CS4 32-bit.
Now i use CS6 64-bit and whenever i APPLY an effect/filter (include PS's Refine Edge) or plugin, there happens a strong white border/line on the image.
I can delete it by using so many ways like ''contract'' but it kills the details.
why is that happening?This must be an option or something cuz it never happened in any other photoshops that i used.I used the same plugins.

ALL I want to do is..
place a photo on a page and then give it a border..a 'transparent' border - aka..perhaps a softened edge / or one which looks like its 'merged' into the background. Im doing a dvd cover so ideally not wanting a ''photo simply stuck on page' look. A more subtle effect.
Easy enough ( with previous versions..Photoimpact 11 per say ) ..click on border..select a fancy design and hey-ho it appears...the effect of a photo with a blended feel into the background.
NOW - all i've managed to do on this program is, SELECT IMAGE>PICTURE FRAME> ( a choice appears) once click on..say..EDGE FUN 03..the effect ( of some flowers ) does appear..but alone with it a massive great white border...shrinking the image etc...ALL I WANT TO DO IS TO TURN THAT MASSIVE WHITE BORDER INTO..SAY.. ANOTHER COLOR. or perhaps just blend it into my original background.
I have set my original layer to ..transparent.. ( i think )...but have colored this purple.
( How the heck do you get the right-hand categories to appear in my main editing page. Having to go to EFFECTS>EFFECT EDGES..or whatever...to show a small thumbnail of an effect isnt great..much perfected Photo impact when you ran your mouse along the effects and by and large the effect changed on your original large image so you can see what the effect was better. )

A white box around the whole image. The background should be completely transparent. No border at all. Just words on a completely transparent background.

Photoshop :: Pixelated Strip On Part Of Image
Aug 19, 2013I have been mocking up an image on Photoshop, the final image basically consists of a variation of placed images. Whenever I zoomed in, one small part of the image wouldn't load properly and instead be pixelated. Usually it would go away once I either zoomed in or out a step further. But now it has just remained there and I have a pixelated strip that won't go away.
I'm not too sure why this may have occurred? This is a small screenshot of the strip:

Dec 2, 2006I have version 8 cs.
I have resized a photo to 406 x 305mm with the image size & canvas size dialogue box set correctly, but when I print the image it comes out as 240 x 170mm.
I have tried every printing option to get the correct print, but it just aint happening.
I have tried scaled to fit media (on & off), custom printing size, a3 printing size.

Jun 2, 2008In Photoshop CS3, I crop or use the Image Size to get, say a 5"x7" image at 300 dpi. Then I do a "save as" as a jpeg image. Then I re-open it and it's not 5x7. Instead it's 8.75" x 6.25". When I look at Image Size again on this new, previously saved file, it displays 8.75" x 6.25" at 240 dpi.
I uninstalled and re-installed Photoshop CS3. I looked at my preferences to ensure it was displaying in inches and not centimeters. It is.
One thing to note is that this once worked and now it does not. I'm running with version 10.0 on Windows XP.

Feb 22, 2004I'm working on a project in photoshop for an art class and I'm wondering, does anyone know how to paste an image into an existing one and get it to look like it was psychically cut out of a magazine and pasted on to the image? It would need to have the edges you get when you cut something out. Any suggestions?

Illustrator :: White Line Around Image
Sep 19, 2012I have a CMYK file, outlined product, that looks perfect in Photoshop. When I place the image into Illustrator, it shows up with a thin white line around parts of the product (fyi - it shows up on a print as well). I have tried to place an RGB file and it does not have the white line around the product. I assume it has something to do with it being CMYK.
