I have created a solid white image on a "transparent background." The problem is it comes with a small black border around the image. How can I remove it? I'm hoping to put it on a t-shirt - almost like it's screened. I've attached a copy of the gif.

When I remove the background of an image theres always this white border thats on it. Ive filled background in another colour and cropped the image but the white border is always there. How do i remove this?

With the intention of then being able to resize the image to the exact dimensions I require before then resizing the canvas size to create the exact amount of white spacing between the tops and bottom of the image.
I found these awesome icons that I use with a desktop prog called "avedesk" but when use them with a dark background that white border ruins them, i was wondering Is there a fast way to remove this white border around the image ?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI used Photoshop CS3 to create a coupe of boxes in black, nothing fancy, just pure black boxes as for background stuff for a web page, and then saved it for Web through photoshop whereby the html and images are created. Opening the html in dreamweaver appears ok until i add a dark background and white "strokes" appear on my boxes drawn using PS.

I use Photoshop CS2.
Here's the thing happens :
1- BEFORE (a clean cutted image) :[URL]....
2- Using a plugin : (also with others): [URL]....
3- AFTER (white border) : [URL]....
This is so interesting.I use ''knockout2, remask3'' for cutting and ''Imagenomic Portraite'' for retouching.That never happened in CS4 32-bit.
Now i use CS6 64-bit and whenever i APPLY an effect/filter (include PS's Refine Edge) or plugin, there happens a strong white border/line on the image.
I can delete it by using so many ways like ''contract'' but it kills the details.
why is that happening?This must be an option or something cuz it never happened in any other photoshops that i used.I used the same plugins.
I'm being really thick here and don't actually know the correct term for it, but I've lost the black line that used to be around the outside of opened images in Photoshop (CS5 to be exact)

I don't mind changing the background, I just can't figure out and easy way to get this done, aside from zooming in really close, cutting them out, and pasting them on another background. I researched for quite a while but could find no instructions.
I would like to get some variety of photos looking like they were taken during the civil war era. This would include white specks, black splotches, blurred edges, irregular black edges, etc. I have looked for ways in which to accomplish this and have not been successful at this.
Currently, I am using the following to varying degrees: Sepia Toning/Black and White, Blur, Salt and Pepper noise, and Vignette.

There is a strong possibility that I'm forgetting something. I want remove the black from this image, precisely. I gave channels a try, selection as well with a tolerance of 12 - 22 the results were not what I want.

I've installed 32-bit CS6 and now everything works perfect.No white lines after applying/resizng anything.
I have opened an image that was created with adobe illustrator. In this image there is a white border around the page. This causes that when i place an object on the edge of the page I only see the part of the object that is on the page. I like this very much.
But when I start a new project, the white border isn't there. How i can switch this ting on?
I'm using 2.8.4 on a MacBook Pro. When I create a text image with a transparent background and export as any file format, there's a white border around the ENTIRE image. A white box around the whole image. The background should be completely transparent. No border at all. Just words on a completely transparent background.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am creating a peice of artwork in illustrator. I have cut out the icecream image in photoshop and placed it in illustrator as a psd file. It looks fine in illustrator, looks like it should do. The problem occurs when I export to pdf, a black border around the ice cream image appears. However when I print the black border does not display. So the issue with the black border only appears on the pdf. Check out the attachment beow for example of what I mean.

I managed to do it, but there's a small problem... when I convert the png to gif (to make the animated gif afterwards) the image gets a strange white border around the edges. I have accidentally made my drawing in black and shades of black (grey) on a white background in Photoshop. Is there a way I can delete the white pixels only and then have only the grey and black pixels remaining? If possible, I don’t want a hard pixellated edge where the white and grey/black pixels meet.
What I want remaining is only the black and grey lines with a transparent background.
this is distracting - In LR4 there was no border.
