I have 160+ photos of different sizes (but mostly 1600 x 1200). I'm running them in a loop for my screensaver. I transferred them to my cellphone, to be used as wallpaper, but they're too big to fit the screen. I can only see a portion of the image. So I'd like to reduce the size for them all, without having to do each one individually (and tediously).
I have a quick question corel X5, I have a design made of several .4 inch circles, I wonder if there is a way to resize all the circles to .6 inch ( i am trying to avoid to resize manually each circle )

View 3 Replies View RelatedI sometimes need to resize photos to a required height and width in inches. I've been doing it by going first to image size, and setting the height that I need. Then I used the crop tool to cut some off the sides to make it the correct width. When I am doing the cropping, is there a way to see what the width is as I am cropping it? Right now, I do the crop then go to Image Size to see the result. Or is there an easier way to do this, without stretching or distorting the image?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to use the tool for drawing a filled-in circle with a colored border to add a series of circles to a map for use in identifying specific stops on a tour. I cannot, to save my life, figure out how to designate the size of the circles. Instead, the only thing I can figure out to do is use my mouse to click, hold, and drag until the pixel dimensions on the screen show exactly the size I am aiming for.
The problem is that I am trying to hit exactly 30x30 pixels. Either my hand is not steady enough or the mouse is too sensitive, but it is taking forever to try to hit precisely the right size. Is there any way to simply click the point where I would normally begin dragging to draw the circle and then just type in the dimensions on my keyboard?
I am trying to resize multiple photos by using the batch option. I have created an action and then go into batch and select that action. It's not working. Anybody have any ideas on how I can resize my photos all at once??
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm running LR 5.2 RC and my RAW are getting resized by one pixel when I import them. My RAW are 3456 x 5184 and need to be this size to be accepted by software I am using. Sometimes they are dropping a pixel from the long edge, sometimes just the short edge.
Is there a way to set a default sizing on import if I can't prevent this bug from happening?
The circle tool, in the standard paint.net tool set, anchors the a circle at the corners of the circle's "bounding box".
So when you want to draw a circle around a certain point - you have to center the circle yourself
I want to have the circles anchored to the point that I start the drag (centered at the point I hold down the mouse to start the drag).
If you imagine wanting to drawn a target (concentric circles) - you'll get the idea.
I cannot see a way to do this automatically in paint.net.
I have in the homepage of themes portfolio, thumbnails which after a lot of pixel adjusting have become perfect for fitting the featured image, but the problem is in when you go the blog section, the thumbnails there are big size and the featured image in not fitting in the box correctly no matter what i do. .the only way i can fit the photo in the box is by enlarging the actual canvas of the photo (which is not professional), and then i would have a problem with the thumbnails in the homepage. Again i tried to match the size proportions of the big thumbnails in the blog to match the ones in the homepage, but with no success.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to re-size heaps of photos at once? Instead of having to go into the menu and changing the size, photo by photo? For example: If I download pics from my camera how do I change them all. Also, does anyone know how to make a folder name and it automatically updates all your .jpg file names for you? For example, a folder could be Jack's 21st and all pics become jack's21st001.jp jack's21st002.jpg etc.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a batch of about 75 photos that i want to resize to about 8" x 6", Right now they are all at 36" x 27". is there a way I can set it up, so that they are all resized in one single batch, or do I have to manually do them one at a time?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a large amount of photos to send to a customer and i need to edit them to send by e-mail.
My question is does GIMP have a way to resize a large amount of images in one go instead of doing them one at a time.
Which option for size should I select when sending a photo by email to make sure the file is no larger than 1 MB?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI would like to create a family crest. I have a JPG for the center, but I need two concentric circles, with text around the circumference, between the circles.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to make a logo. Circular logo with an inner ring maybe 4 px wide and 15 px inside the rim of the outer circle.
Basically I want a blue circle with a yellow inside ring. What's the best way of doing this? The only thing i can think of is: creating a blue circle marquee, and then another (trying to estimate a new circle size and change the color) that is yellow, and then making another smaller blue circle inside the new one. That's just ugly.
I tried the edit/stroke but that just gave me a stroke around the outer circle; it didn't put a ring inside the circle 15 px down.
Also I tried to contract the original circle by selecting it, then Modify/contract. That's got me a selected ring, inside the circle. Now how in the world do I make that little ring yellow? It just remains selected and I can't seem to find a way to color it.
I have some hand drawn patterns that need resizing by percentage and printed. However, when I resize, it shows exactly the same and prints exactly the same.
View 1 Replies View RelatedProblems with the resize facility? The program does not allow resizing on some photographs but it does on others, even those taken on similar settings (same ISO) within minutes of each other. Pressing the resize option or the new button on some photos brings up the resize widow at top left of the screen with no data and only the word 'Static' where the original data should be shown and nothing in any of the other various boxes. Inputting data in any of the boxes does not work and the OK button does not work either. On other photos the usual resize window comes up in the middle of the screen with original photo data shown and all the usual options displayed for the required resize.
The same photographs which will not resize in X5 resize normally in my X3 version and I get the message "Requested parameter not found in the repository" when attempting to resize the photos on my laptop copy of X5.
I recently upgraded from X3 to X4 and just noticed a Cropping and Re-sizing issue with X4. When I crop or re-size an image and then save it as a JPG, the size of the image prior to saving and the size displayed after saving and reopening are different. When I open the PRINT LAYOUT screen for the JPG, it confirms that the image was NOT re sized or cropped. It almost appears like there is an issue with the way X4 saves a JPG. When I perform the exact same cropping or re-sizing but save the image as a TIF, the problem does not happen. I also duplicated the cropping and re-sizing under X3, saved the image as a JPG and the problem did NOT happen.
By the way, when I worked with tech support, they could not duplicate the problem on their system but when they remotely accessed my computer, they saw the problem. The only difference seems to be that I have a PC with a 3.33 gigahertz Intel Core i7 X 980 processor.
How can I resize an object bigger and still keep it at high quality. The resize tool makes the image look blurry.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been using Paint.NET on my laptop for a really long time, I just installed it on my desktop and I am having a problem with resizing. Every image I resize the image gets all distorted around the edges, high and low resolution images! If I take the same image and resize it on my laptop it looks prefect but if I resize it on my desktop it looks horrible!
For example on the image I attached, I shrunk the Pinterest P I use often, as you can see one looks great (laptop version), the other not so much (desktop)!
referred to this software, tried it out but can't get my desired results? I have about 16 images of website screenshots, meaning I took full page screenshots of different sites to use in my Portfolio page so I need the dimensions of all 16 site's screenshots to be the exact same size which is 192x115, problem is I am not allowed to type in those exact dimensions before resizing. Is there any I can get my desired results?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm losing a lot of quality when resizing images (I'm using CTRL + R and Best quality resampling).
The images I usually resize have approximately 900 x 900 pixels and they are basically text print screens. I resize them to 80%.
Is there anything that I can do to get images with better quality?

View 2 Replies View Relatedhow to improve the box resizing tools ('S' & 'M'):
1) the shift key currently only constrains proportions when dragging the corners. make it also constrain proportions when dragging edges (keep the opposite edge-center box in place).
2) can you add an 'Alt'-key modifier that fixes the center of the selection, instead of the opposite corner/edge?
I want to create a collage. I set a feather value, make a selection out of a 2nd image and paste it into another file. Pastes in fine, but when I try and grab the corner of the pasted layer and resize it to be smaller, for some reason (I have done this approach on 20 other occasions), it doesn't resize as a rectangle as it should. It starts to resize as an octagon type shape. The following link shows an example of a freshly pasted layer that I tried to resize. There must be some setting that got changed because I have done this across four different versions of paint shop
Example below that shows the big layer getting "bent out of shape". URL....
I have resized my images to an 8 x 10 format, but when I sent the files to my print lab, they told me they are less than an 8x10, with a resolution less than what I had indicated in prox3.

When I use the rectangular selection tool on the layer and go to resize or move the selection with the move resize pixel tool instead of moving or resizing the selected area I get blank rectangle that moves or resizes.
