I am trying to resize multiple photos by using the batch option. I have created an action and then go into batch and select that action. It's not working. Anybody have any ideas on how I can resize my photos all at once??
I sometimes need to resize photos to a required height and width in inches. I've been doing it by going first to image size, and setting the height that I need. Then I used the crop tool to cut some off the sides to make it the correct width. When I am doing the cropping, is there a way to see what the width is as I am cropping it? Right now, I do the crop then go to Image Size to see the result. Or is there an easier way to do this, without stretching or distorting the image?
I want to resize dozens of jpeg photos so they are all the same size. Rather than doing them one at a time, is it possible to do them as a batch in PS CS5?
I've got all these huge size images taken with a digital camera that I want to shrink down to 640x480 or so for upload to my galleries at pbase.com. I'd hate to do them one by one.
My camera is often used to take pictures in different events for my college. I am required to email those pictures to a person. But before I send them I must resize them all to 580 by 435. The way i currently do it right now is i go to "Image Size" and resize each individual picture from there. I was wondering if theres a way to just be able to resize all of the pictures in a folder to a specific size without having to do it one by one. it would make my life alot easier since its usually about 20 pictures at a time.
I have a folder that has about 100 photos. They are 2048 x 1536 and are around 1.2 MB in size. Also, their orientation is mixed. Meaning, some of them are horizontal (landscape) and some of them are verticle (portrait).
I have in the homepage of themes portfolio, thumbnails which after a lot of pixel adjusting have become perfect for fitting the featured image, but the problem is in when you go the blog section, the thumbnails there are big size and the featured image in not fitting in the box correctly no matter what i do. .the only way i can fit the photo in the box is by enlarging the actual canvas of the photo (which is not professional), and then i would have a problem with the thumbnails in the homepage. Again i tried to match the size proportions of the big thumbnails in the blog to match the ones in the homepage, but with no success.
Is there a way to re-size heaps of photos at once? Instead of having to go into the menu and changing the size, photo by photo? For example: If I download pics from my camera how do I change them all. Also, does anyone know how to make a folder name and it automatically updates all your .jpg file names for you? For example, a folder could be Jack's 21st and all pics become jack's21st001.jp jack's21st002.jpg etc.
I have a batch of about 75 photos that i want to resize to about 8" x 6", Right now they are all at 36" x 27". is there a way I can set it up, so that they are all resized in one single batch, or do I have to manually do them one at a time?
I want to re size a lot of images to a lower quality. Is there a way of doing this process without having to open each individual file time after time. All the images are different sizes. I just want to lower the size of the file for putting in a pdf catalogue.
I have 160+ photos of different sizes (but mostly 1600 x 1200). I'm running them in a loop for my screensaver. I transferred them to my cellphone, to be used as wallpaper, but they're too big to fit the screen. I can only see a portion of the image. So I'd like to reduce the size for them all, without having to do each one individually (and tediously).
I'm running LR 5.2 RC and my RAW are getting resized by one pixel when I import them. My RAW are 3456 x 5184 and need to be this size to be accepted by software I am using. Sometimes they are dropping a pixel from the long edge, sometimes just the short edge.
Is there a way to set a default sizing on import if I can't prevent this bug from happening?
Is there a way to resize multiple items of different sizes all at once? Say I have five boxes measuring 1", 2", 3", 4" and 5" but i want them all to measure 6", is there a way to resize them all at once?
I'm working with drawings that have (for example) 1,000 little circles with diameter 1.5mm. I'd like to resize all of them to, say, 2.0mm but I don't want to scale them as this will affect their distance from each other.
Macros: I have tried recording the adjustments on one object but I'm unable to run the macro on another - the macro errors out.
Find/Replace objects: I don't see any options involving object dimensions (although I can "Find All" of my objects by shape or fill).
I recently learned of what sounded like a wonderful Elements feature: Scan as many photos as you can fit on your scanner bed and Elements will divide the scan into individual photos. The key was to use the "Divide Scanned Photos" command on the Image menu. Sounds great, but that command is always grayed out. How come? And is there some way for me to make the command work?
In CS3 I can go to a file and chose 10 or more photos at one time. If I open 3 in CS4... I can adjust the first one but as soon as I close it and open the next photo.. the background for the next photo comes in black.same for the rest I have chosen.
When I try to open multiple raw photos from cs6 mini bridge, after selecting them, none open up. If I do one it works fine. I also tried the review mode and only one opens.
i want to print some customsized photos to a sheet of photo paper. Will PS CS4 do this? If so how? It appears that PS elements 10 will do trhis but i don't want to buy iy if PS4 will do the job.
I open several photos onto the desktop at one time for adjusting. when I magnify one during my adjustments then reduce it by right clicking "fit to screen" - all the other images stay enlarged. It is very time consuming to reduce the size back down for every image as I adjust them. If I use minus magnify then I have a chorus of images getting smaller...
Is there anyway to have each image on the desktop act independently from each other? Some sort of unlinking?
I have finished designing a postcard that I wish to print and need to get the card to fit into an Avery template I downloaded from their site.
I cannot copy the picture and get it to change to the correct size for post office standards. I can get one on its own. I cannot get anything remotely close to the correct size into the template. Every time I copy and paste it does so but really really small and unable to change the size of the image at all once it is in the template.
