I'm trying to update my Smugmug Publish Plugin from version 2.0.3.1 to the current 2.0.7.0. I keep getting the message "Unable to perform Plugin Update. Failed to move the old plugin out of the way."
View 5 RepliesI tried to import (move) 2 images from desktop into Lr3.6, a jpeg and tiff but I got the message that cannot perform the imprt (paraphrasing).
problem is that now the images disappeared from the desktop and they are not in Lr either - thye are gone, not even in the trash.where the images might be? it's a Mac, 10.7.3

View 6 Replies View RelatedI added a new tag to a large batch of photos which then needed to be re-upoaded. It was taking a very long time and about halfway through, I got an error. I started the Publish funtion again and all was fine, but then again with a handful of photos left, I got the error. This time the Publish function didn't move anything and I just got the error. Even after removing the new tag from the remaining photos, I am unable to use the plugin to upload any new photos to my flickr account. I use the flickr library within LR as part of my organization strategy and really don't want to use any other uploader.
The error message in question: Flickr API returned an error message (function flickr.photos.setMeta, message Bad URL found)
I get a message saying "Application unable to start (0xc000007b)
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been working with autocad for approximately five months. I feel as though I have a pretty good grasp of the program's capabilities and commands, but I'm stumped. I've successfully imported a 3dm file to autocad 2012 and all of the geometry is present in autocad (it is not a 2d wireframe), but I am unable to perform boolean operations on it.
The model has also taken on a strange pale blue hugh, though the wirefram is lavender (unless I explode it and then unionize it several times over. Unfortunately this results in an issue with surface faces intersecting with one another, as well as a loss of geometry). The model cannot be converted to a surface nor a solid which means that it is not water-tight. This is not a model that I have created. I've been tasked by my employer to make several changes to it. Why (without exploding it) I cannot perform boolean operations.
I downloaded the LR4 upgrade. LR4 Image shows up on my desktop, dmg icon and READMe shows up, when I double click on dmg, I get message saying unable to open. Using Mac Pro and upgrading from LR3.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've got two large catalogs (one business, one personal) that work perfectly fine in LR4.4, but when I try to upgrade them to LR5 I get the error, "Lightroom couldn't update the format of its catalog file because the file appears to be damaged."
The catalogs sure don't seem damaged as they work perfectly in LR4.4. I've been able to update a few small single-shoot catalogs, is this a known problem with updating large catalogs (65k photos in one, 180k in the other)?
I have upgraded from Ltroom 3 to 5.2 and lots of differences straight away.
I have a question if
1) enable profile corrections
2) setup is Auto or Custom Or Default
3) the camera is correcr ( canon)
4) Model of the lens is correct EF17-40
5) Profile is shown as EOS-1D Mk 3
the arrows do not show any other camera and Mine is a Canon 50D, How do get the correct Profile to register also unable to update DNG files.

It would seem to me, that these could have already been written by any of the experienced macro programmers for CorelDraw. No interest, or are these sort of fills too difficult to programmatically implement through a macro?
I am working on modeling a pond riser. I had one model with a series of small round perforations in the riser and I needed to look at a version that used larger, square cut-outs in the riser. So, I performed a "save-as" and adjusted my orifices to match my new model requirements. When I attempted to run the model, I received the following error: "ERROR 537 : Unable to perform multiple storm analysis, no storm was selected.".
I have encountered this one time before and was able to go back to the first model and start over. However, now, even when I run the first model (small round perfs), I receive the same error.
I have a storm event assigned for both models but the program does not seem to recognize this any longer.
Using Macbook Pro with CS5 Photoshop and Lightroom 5. Importing photo from LR to PS was told to update PS Camera Raw plugin to 8.2 .
Used download for Raw/DNG 8.2 and went through the steps to download successful. When I check the plugin status on PS it is still on ver. 6.7.1.399.
I am installing LR4. I tried to update the catalog.I received the message that LR encountered problems when trying to update the format of the catalog file and cannot use this catalog in this version of Lightroom. When I click on the See Adobe Technote button, I received the message that that file is unavailable from the Adobe Website. Assuming the name is stored in the metadata is there anyway to access that directly to perform the rename?
How do you updated CS5 extended when you keep getting a message to close the program but the program is already closed? I have tried to do the update when I first turn the computer on, go directly to Photoshop, go to update and click on that, get new screen, close Photoshop, and I still get a message to close the already closed program. I believe I have to open Photoshop to get to the update area, so I don't know how to get around this issue. (I use win8, 64 bit)

However, I still cannot access the "Filter Gallery", and when I went to find the so called "Filter Gallery" plugin folder--what do you know that plugin is missing all together.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to adjust the white balance using photoshop elements 11, all the information I have come across tells you how to do it using the camera raw plug in. This has been updated and still I do not see it listed when I click on the file menu. I take photos of antique gold lockets using a light house and even though the custom white balance is set on my camera the photos are still coming out too canary yellow. I need to be able to adjust the colors so that they are more antique rose gold looking and have been reading different articles and videos on how other people adjust the colors and would like to try a couple of the ways I have seen but am unable as the camera raw plug in is not showing up as an option.

I tried to restart Autocad, and also appautoload command but couldn't solve the problem.
For the past couple of weeks I have been getting a message that autocad cannot save dwg because it is being accessed by another session. This doesn't happen everytime I try to save, and it happens in differant files. After hitting save 4 or 5 times it will usually let me save the dwg. but then I have to go into the folder and clean out all the temp files. I know that none of the other users in my office have the dwg open when this happens so I'm at a loss as to whats causing it.
