Aug 8, 2012Lightroom is current unable to export files (this has happened mid session) It tells me that the file could not be found dispite having just been worked on in lightroom and external editors (Nik software)Testing this it is now happening to all files. There are no tell tail ? marks against these files and all catalogues appear to OK.

Lightroom :: Unable To Export Files?
Jul 16, 2013I am unable to export any files from LR5. This just barely started happening. I have not had this issue, and I have been using LR5 for a few weeks on two different computers with no problems. I have checked all my settings several times, and tried restarting the program. It still won't export! It goes through all the files, and then a little pop-up window comes up saying it could not export the files.

Most specifically, how do I set a transparent color for a gif? But how do I make an AREA of ANY file transparent? One thing I tried to do was use the "Wet Floor Reflection" plugin, and it requires a transparent area below the existing image. I couldn't do that, either.

Mar 24, 2013I would like to change caption during export with a plugin.
I've got a website with a galery made with piwigo and I use the piwigo's plugin to publish / export my photos to the website.
I'd like to complete my caption with something like that for example:
New Caption =>
{city} - {country} - {dateTime[%B %Y]}
{copyright}
{caption}
I've tried different solution without success:
1 - Using LR Transporter plugin It's not the solution because this plugin change caption in LR. I want to change only during export.
2 - Using rc Exportant pluginI don't manage to change something in the preset. I've got a bad level in english and I don't really understand what to do to make what I want
3 - Doing my own plugin I've tried with lightroom SDK. I manage to do a box in export box to complete some metadata. But I'm not a programmer, only a photographer, and I don't know how to do after.
I know that it's possible to do something like that. I use jf Flickr plugin and ther is a place to do that in this plugin (Metadata Management / Image Title - Description).
I'd like to do exactly the same with piwigo's publish.
Lightroom :: 4 Flickr Plugin Error - Unable To Upload?
Aug 18, 2012I added a new tag to a large batch of photos which then needed to be re-upoaded. It was taking a very long time and about halfway through, I got an error. I started the Publish funtion again and all was fine, but then again with a handful of photos left, I got the error. This time the Publish function didn't move anything and I just got the error. Even after removing the new tag from the remaining photos, I am unable to use the plugin to upload any new photos to my flickr account. I use the flickr library within LR as part of my organization strategy and really don't want to use any other uploader.
The error message in question: Flickr API returned an error message (function flickr.photos.setMeta, message Bad URL found)

Aug 30, 2012I'm trying to authorize Lightroom to export to my Flickr account, but when I click "Authorize" nothing appears in my browser.
I am using Lightroom 4.1, and upgrading to 4.2 RC1 didn't resolve the issue. I've tried clearing my temporary files and re-installing Lightroom. I tried deleting my catalog and starting again. My default browser is currently Chrome, but when I make IE the default, I see the same behavior.

The file is actually exported, sometimes to the folder specified and sometimes to a new untitled folder in the specified folder.This started after I tried unsuccessfully to activate the Facebook Publish service plug-in. I disabled the plug-in, restarted both the program and computer, but the problem remains.

May 22, 2012Since upgrading to LR4, I've been unable to export photos to disk. No error is shown, but the UI shows the "exporting" dialog in the upper left of the window, but has zero progress. Here are some details:
Observations: CPU not pegging, RAM isn't getting eaten up. I can right click on any image and ask to be shown the pic in the Finder (I'm on a Mac) and it takes me to the photo. This catalog has been upgraded from every previous version of Lightroom.
Troubleshooting:
I've dumped my LR preferences (at ~/library/preferences/.com.adobe...)
I've upgraded to 4.1 RC2.
I've done the "test integrity of the catalog" check and didn't have any errors.
This repros with ANY photo in my catalog.
When I perform the export command, the folder I direct Lightroom to does get created by LR, but no photos ever show up there. I've also tried directing the export to an already created folder, and still there is no export.
Environment: Mac OS X (10.7.3 I believe)LR 4 (now at 4.1 RC2).

Apr 24, 2013I recently upgraded from a mac mini to a macbook pro retina using migration assistant and time machine backup. All went well, and since all my photos were on an external drive, no problems there. However, when I try to import new photos, I see the images, but then get a list of the .CR2 files and an error message of "unable to read files." This is a Sandisk Extreme 16 GB SD card, and it still successfully works on the old mac. Following a similar issue in the forum, I checked permissions, and those appear to all be correct. I'm running LR 4.4.

Feb 22, 2014I am unable to import NEF files into the new Lightroom 5.3, I recieve the following error message: "The files are not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom. (251)" and then each .NEF file is listed separately. I am using the latest and most updated Lightroom software and a Nikon 3300. I get this message if I try to import directly from the SD card or if I try to import from the desktop (after copying the SD card contents onto my desktop). I also am unable to import directly from the camera. I'm using a promaster performance 32GG SD card that I formated in the Nikon 3300 before I started shooting. I took three pictures that were just JPGs on the card and these improt okay using any mechanism. All the other photos were taking RAW+JPG.

Apr 7, 2013I am using a MacBook Pro and Lightroom 4.4.
When importing I use the "Copy as DNG" feature and that works just fine for the RAW impages.
I then switch to the "Copy" feature to copy some JPG imsages taken with another camera and they are not copied. The information in the window is "Cound not copy a file to the requested location" and lists all files I tried to import. If I copy the files manually into the folders/locations that Lightroom should have done, the "Add" fearire works just fine.
I am just puzzled as to why Lightroom cannot copy the files to the folders that are there and add the image to the catalog on its own. Converting RAW to DNG works fine so what needs to be done to allow Copy to do the same thing.
