This happpens in LR 4 and I never had this problem in previuos version.
For an unknowed reason, my raw files do not export from Lightroom v4.3 to CS6. When I want to make some retouching with a .CR2 file in Lightroom v4.3 in CS6 when I hit command-E it opens CS6 but the file does not import in CS6.

I have exported some files and reimported them into a new catalog. LR either will not let me export the.tiles- saying they are unsupported or if they do export they are damaged.
if I export the files as a new catalog they are fine.
when I check the exported files in windows explorer they have lines going through them.

Export
Crop
White Balance: Custom
Auto-Tone

I am unable to export any files from LR5. This just barely started happening. I have not had this issue, and I have been using LR5 for a few weeks on two different computers with no problems. I have checked all my settings several times, and tried restarting the program. It still won't export! It goes through all the files, and then a little pop-up window comes up saying it could not export the files.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen exporting videofiles (.MTS files, created with Sony NEX6) as high quality mp4 files, LR will not retain the metadata info (especially the DateTimeOriginal field) eventhough I ticked "Include all metadata". (is this a bug???)
I need this metadata to sort the exported files to use them in another app.I have processed the videos in LR, so I cannot export the original files. An alternative would be to let LR rename the output files based on DateTime, but LR will only use the date, not the time.
Why cant I export some files with my watermark logo? works for some photos but not others!

View 1 Replies View Relatedsome time ago (and I cannot connect it to some specific action from my side) I'm facing an unpleasant fenomena: when I'm processing a CR2 (Canon RAW) file and exporting the result to the hard disk as JPEG, the resulting JPEG file looks completely burned out ... but only if viewed in the Lightroom. If I view it for example, in a browser, or with the FastStone viewer, or whatever -- it looks perfectly normal.

When they complete their assignment in Lightroom, they Export as Catalog, compress that folder and submit it to me through Dropbox. This worflow works great with students who shoot .jpg but the kids who are shooting RAW have files that are too large to upload.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have used LR 4 in the past, and when I wanted to export my RAW files into JPEGS I would go to File>Export. I tried to do the same with LR CC, got the page, however, I couldn't figure out what the page should be set up for so that the jpegs went into the same folder as the RAW files. They went into another folder on my C drive. Or I get an error message:
Unable to Export An internal error has occured; Win32 API error 2 ("The system cannot find the file specified.") when calling ShellExecuteEXW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute
How can I do what I want to do, which is to export RAW images to JPEGS?
The camera files seem to be just fine, but my jpg files frequently get corrupt on export. They get these random horizontal lines through them, as well as big gray sections that begin part way through the file. If I re-export them, they usually come out all right. I would like to pin down the cause. I'll change the process priority from normal to realtime for now and see how it goes.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm exporting photos from LR3 via a user export preset (from library: file, export with preset, user preset...) to a flash drive for viewing on a photo frame. It exported 4 photos just fine and now additional files are not being written. I'm am exporting one at a time to control the order they are read on the frame. I use Windows XP and the flash drive is an 8gb newly formatted on the computer. I've removed the drive (yes, safely) and tried numerous times with several other photos from the same folder. It gives me an "export results" message telling me that the file could not be written but no other explanation or info. All photos are jpegs being saved as jpegs and all have usual post processing changes.

I have been evalutating LR4 and am stuck on how to import my files from another DAM into LR4.
I am able to write XMP into JPG files, and provide sidecar XMP files for RAW (CR2) and MOV/MP4/MTS files, writing my hierarchical keyword information into the xmp-dc:Subject and xmp-lr:HierarchicalSubject fields.
LR4 seems to read the XMP keywords from the JPG and RAW files just fine and re-creates my keyword hierarchy.
LR4 seems to ignore on import the XMP for the non-image files such as the MOV/MP4/MTS files for which I have provided sidecar files.
LR4 also does not write out XMP files for the non-image files, when I use save Medatada.
Does LR4 just ignore import/writing XMP for these non-image files?
I have been trying to export some files (all morning - note my frustration) to a new stock agency, but when I do a File>Export my Lightroom 4 generated Keywords are not in the files. I have tried to problem solve this on my own and looked online but I am having no luck at all. I am not very savy with all of this keywording protocol to start with. I am sure it is something simple like a box that needs to be checked or unchecked.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a large library and one day i wanted to make sure that none of the files were corupt so I thought of an idea to export my entire library to see if i get a notification if any of my files didn't export. I could then check on those files to see whats wrong. But trying to export that many images caused lightroom to crash so I exported by year instead. Some years were fine, but others like 2011 for example, out of 13906 images, only 9824 exported. I would be ok with that if lightroom notified me which images didn't export. Normaly, when i try to export images that are ofline, lightroom will tell me which ones didn't export and say that they can't be found. How am i supposed to find those 4000 images that didn't export if i don't know what there file names are? I tried exporting the previews as a catalog and all 13906 exported fine. I updated my dng previews and I even genereated new standard sized previews as well. I also ckecked for missing images under Library/Find Missing Photos, and there were none missing.

When exporting a raw file to tif I set the output sizing to megapixel. When I did it to 58 megapixel at 300dpi it gave me a 165mb file size To get a 58mb file I had to go back and forth to find the setting should be 20 megapixels.
