I've checked my logo everywhere else and it's wonderful, crisp and clean - including while resizing it in the preview for watermark setup, but for some reason it's pixelated and awful looking after lightroom export.

Apr 15, 2013After I edited my Raw images shot by Nikon D600, I'd like to export them to Jpeg format with my watermark. The watermark will not show if I exported the images in original size (6016 x 4016) as shot. However the watermark works fine if I resize the images to a smaller size, such as 1200 x 1024.

Jan 31, 2013I'd like to export images from Lightroom 4 with a watermark. It COULD be text, but I want to rotate the watermark 30 degrees. I can't see a way to do that in the watermark editor in Lightroom...
Alternatively, I created the watermark in Photoshop, put in the text, rotated it, and saved it as a jpeg. I can't get a clear background. It appears jpeg doesn't support that. SO, I saved it as a .png (jpg and png appear to be the only two formats supported for a graphic watermark in Lightroom). It looks FINE, except in Photoshop the text is WHITE, which is what I want in Lightroom, but every time I open the .png file in the watermark editor in Lightroom, it comes in with BLACK text...
How do I get a Lightroom export watermark with the text I want in the font I want, angled the way I want?

Oct 18, 2012In Lightroom 2, 3, if I exported a file, I had to physically toggled/click on the watermark (well, in 2, there wasn't the option).
I just downloaded 4 and started working with it. I exported a file, uploaded it to my print lab and lightroom4 automatically placed a logo phrase. I did not enter this. This isn't a good option to automatically have this box clicked!

Lightroom also crashes when I try to edit a current watermark - as soon as I click the drop down menu to choose which watermark to edit, down goes Lightroom. I have both text watermarks and a small jpeg as a watermark (same thing happens with both) and I am running Lightroom 4.3.

When i was using LR3 this always worked, but when I recently updated to LR5.2 the Copyright watermark does not show in my photos. Dec 29, 2011I only have my watermarked folder of a clients images. I always save one folder of watermarked, one high res for them. I have looked everywhere and even used a recovery program to try and find the original folders. So in short the only images I can use are the watermarked ones. Now when I import the photos, the thumbnails show the image without the watermark, and it isnt until they are being imported, one by one the watermark is being applied to the image i see.
So if it is being reapplied, then that means the image still exists separately from the watermark.Is there anyway to seperate the two without having the orignal file? Or to have the watermark not reapply when importing?

Jun 24, 2008I've shot 4 series of Pianno recitals, which amounts to about 160 final photos. These photos will be going to a website from where clients can order prints at various sizes. Most of the clients will be ordering 5x7, but there could be some that are bigger (8x10, 8.5x11,etc). All photos will need to be uploaded to this site at their maximum resolution to accomodate the largest prints - it does not support a feature to upload the same photo in multiple sizes for different print options. All photos will need to have my custom watermark/logo with my signature and the event name and date - this would be just a simple text with shadow in the bottom right corner of the photo.
In the past, I only needed to support 5x7 prints which made my job easy. I simply cropped all photos to 5x7 ratio and resized to 300DPI, I ended up with 2100x1500 pixels. I then created a layer with the logo and used the batch tool to automate the addition of the logo layer to each photo. The position and size of the logo layer always ended up in the exact same spot, since all photos were exactly the same size.
For my new assignment, I will need to leave the photos at their original maximum resolution to support large prints. I'm strugling now trying to figure out how to automate the addition of my watermark/logo layer so that it appears in the same position and size on all photos. Is there any way how I can automatically resize the logo layer to match each photo's size. That way if I have an image that was heavily cropped to isolate the subject into lets say 1400x1000pixels and another that is lets say 2800x2000 pixels, my logo would proportionally scale up or down to maintain its relative size and position to the background image.

Mar 13, 2006Last night I created a quick little logo to watermark some pictures with; however, after alot of trying I have been unsuccessful at creating a scalable path around everything in such a way that it doesn't blur the edges. I am trying to do what is found at the link below so that I can later automate the process of inserting the watermarks:
The logo design (see below) is made from a capital letter 'D' and a lower case letter 'm' sharing vertical starting strokes with another font. I am thinking that since the two letters ('D' and 'm') are no longer text that this may not be do able. I couldn't figure out how to delete part of the 'D' and 'm' but still make it possible to 'Create Work Path'. I hope I explained this correctly...I am pretty new to photoshop. Is it possible to take what I have (the .psd version doesn't have the white background) and use it to do what they did on the link?

Jul 20, 2012I would like to watermark a logo on a batch folder of photos, but the photos are different heights (but same width). If I use text in Photoshop it's not a problem, but if I use my logo the Action places it in different positions depending on the height of the photo.
What I am looking for is a way to have the logo placed in a relative position to the bottom right corner of the photo. Say, 25px from the bottom and 0px from the right. I am unsure of how to achieve this relative placement.

Sep 29, 2013I have exported some files and reimported them into a new catalog. LR either will not let me export the.tiles- saying they are unsupported or if they do export they are damaged.
if I export the files as a new catalog they are fine.
when I check the exported files in windows explorer they have lines going through them.
I am working on my laptop Win 7 64 bit using Toschiba esata external drive.
this is not happening on my desktop just my laptop

I have not had this issue, and I have been using LR5 for a few weeks on two different computers with no problems. I have checked all my settings several times, and tried restarting the program.
