I've checked my logo everywhere else and it's wonderful, crisp and clean - including while resizing it in the preview for watermark setup, but for some reason it's pixelated and awful looking after lightroom export.
This is my logo:
(click to view since it's gray)
and this is what it looks like on the image after export at 72dpi:
Here is both the image above, plus i've applied the same watermark in photoshop on the right and saved in photoshop:
After I edited my Raw images shot by Nikon D600, I'd like to export them to Jpeg format with my watermark. The watermark will not show if I exported the images in original size (6016 x 4016) as shot. However the watermark works fine if I resize the images to a smaller size, such as 1200 x 1024.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'd like to export images from Lightroom 4 with a watermark. It COULD be text, but I want to rotate the watermark 30 degrees. I can't see a way to do that in the watermark editor in Lightroom...
Alternatively, I created the watermark in Photoshop, put in the text, rotated it, and saved it as a jpeg. I can't get a clear background. It appears jpeg doesn't support that. SO, I saved it as a .png (jpg and png appear to be the only two formats supported for a graphic watermark in Lightroom). It looks FINE, except in Photoshop the text is WHITE, which is what I want in Lightroom, but every time I open the .png file in the watermark editor in Lightroom, it comes in with BLACK text...
How do I get a Lightroom export watermark with the text I want in the font I want, angled the way I want?
Why cant I export some files with my watermark logo? works for some photos but not others!
View 1 Replies View RelatedDoes the current 4.?? (or 5) provide a way of including selected EXIF info as text on the image at export ?
I want to place lens and exposure info on each image as plain text. Morgrify suggested but that no longer works.
I want to export more than 1 photo at the same time and have the watermark in a different location for each photo. Can this done and if so, how?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn Lightroom 2, 3, if I exported a file, I had to physically toggled/click on the watermark (well, in 2, there wasn't the option).
I just downloaded 4 and started working with it. I exported a file, uploaded it to my print lab and lightroom4 automatically placed a logo phrase. I did not enter this. This isn't a good option to automatically have this box clicked!
How can I export a watermark from lightroom and save in Aperture?
View 1 Replies View Relatedright now click export and images go on desktop. Don't see an offereing to export to a folder or create a folder for this.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAnytime I try to export a file and add a watermark, Lightroom crashes. I can export without adding a watermark just fine. Lightroom also crashes when I try to edit a current watermark - as soon as I click the drop down menu to choose which watermark to edit, down goes Lightroom. I have both text watermarks and a small jpeg as a watermark (same thing happens with both) and I am running Lightroom 4.3.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI make it a habit to always place a simple watermark on all my photos during Export. When i was using LR3 this always worked, but when I recently updated to LR5.2 the Copyright watermark does not show in my photos. I tried several repetitions exporting to .JPEG files, making sure that the Watermarking box is checked. Still, the photos do not show the Copyright symbol and my name.
View 8 Replies View RelatedThat's where all the resources indicate it should be, but it just isn't there. Is it a bug? An installation problem?
LR 4, Mac OS X 10.7.3
I'm using Lightroom 4.3 to add a copyright watermarking image (png) to existing tiff files for website use. I have several different png files made using Photoshop Elements, with the copyright text set at different transparencies, eg 20/30/40 percent opacity, so that whichever one I use in Lightroom I can always leave the opacity setting in the watermarking dialog at 100% and the images are scaled proportionally to 35%.
The problem is that every time I export the files after setting the watermark position etc, I notice that there is a noticeable loss of both contrast and colour in the newly made tiff files.
Lightroom 4.3, Windows 7, 64-bit.
can bridge cs5/6 export raw files to jpg with a watermark? because i can find the watermark under pdf export but i can't find export to jpg.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI do a lot of watermarking for the images on my website an created an action for that. What I did:
place water mark select both layers align left and bottom move the watermark layer up and to the right with the arrow keys (padding from the side of the picture)
Before I apply this action to my images I make them all 930 pixels in width with the original ration, so the height varies. When I apply the action to my images, on some of the images the watermark shows up just fine (like I created the action) but on some of them the watermark shows up very small or to large.
Is it possible to put a watermark on images in photoshop, like putting the word "preview" or "sample" on the jpeg, with a transparant type of effect on it?
Also would it be possible to do this in a batch process?
How to cut down on my time watermarking my photos. Currently I am opening a photo, adding text, rotating text, duplicating the text layer, then moving each layer to the top left and bottom right corners. Surely there must be a way to make this process quicker?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a whole bunch of photos I need to 'spoil' with a diagonal watermark-type effect.
how to do this as a batch. Otherwise, it could possibly take quite a while to complete.
Can I add a watermark in LR4?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm using LR 3.6 with the latest updates. I'm trying to add a watermark (which I've done befor and just did) and for some reason the program does not allow watermark as a choice. I can see the box,and the watermark dropdown tab, I just can't choose it. This is true of all my photos now even the one I just successfully added a watermark to.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe way i usually watermark my images is making a droplet from the action in the image attached. But it only works well if the image sizes are not drastically different from each other. i.e. : 5x7 , 7x5
now i have about 200 images all different sizes. i.e. : 5x7, 5x2, 3x4, 10x8, 2x2.. etc.
Im looking for a way to make an action that would recognize the image size and then re-size the watermark to 30% of the image size.
Can I apply a watermark/logo in the form of a png or by using the brush tool when batch process files in photoshop elements 9?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using Lightroom 4.3 (although don't mind upgrading to 5.0 if needed).
I'm trying to find a way to add a border + watermark around an image upon export. A bit of background: I shoot music concerts and have a series of 20-30 images per show that I need this done, some are landscape some are portrait orientation. And keeping the correct photo order is important as I need to show the concert as it happened. I know it can be done in Photoshop via actions, but I'm really trying to move away from PS and do everything in Lightroom.
Pictures speak louder than words, so here is the before (without border or watermark) and the after (same photo, nothing lost, with white border around and the photographer name on the bottom right).
I have edited about 100 photographs over the past few weeks using Lightroom & Photoshop - stupidly, I was concentrating so much on ensuring that my images had a watermark on them, i managed NOT to keep a non-watermark version for sales.
Is there any way I can remove the watermark that is on the JPEG file without having to go through the hassle of re-editing them as it is unlikely I will be able to get the same results as before.
I should say that all of my files have been exported OUT of Lightroom & into a seperate file on Windows Explorer.
I cannot get the watermark to show up in LightRoom4 once I export the photo. I can see it in preview but them it disappears when I export photo.
View 19 Replies View RelatedI only have my watermarked folder of a clients images. I always save one folder of watermarked, one high res for them. I have looked everywhere and even used a recovery program to try and find the original folders. So in short the only images I can use are the watermarked ones. Now when I import the photos, the thumbnails show the image without the watermark, and it isnt until they are being imported, one by one the watermark is being applied to the image i see.
So if it is being reapplied, then that means the image still exists separately from the watermark. Is there anyway to seperate the two without having the orignal file? Or to have the watermark not reapply when importing?
I mistakenly put a watermark on a photo. Is there a way to remove it other than cropping? I don't want to lose part of the photo.
