Photoshop :: How To Batch Watermark Logo Onto Varying Heights

Jul 20, 2012

I would like to watermark a logo on a batch folder of photos, but the photos are different heights (but same width). If I use text in Photoshop it's not a problem, but if I use my logo the Action places it in different positions depending on the height of the photo.

What I am looking for is a way to have the logo placed in a relative position to the bottom right corner of the photo. Say, 25px from the bottom and 0px from the right. I am unsure of how to achieve this relative placement.

Photoshop :: How To Batch Add Watermark/logo To

Jun 24, 2008

I've shot 4 series of Pianno recitals, which amounts to about 160 final photos. These photos will be going to a website from where clients can order prints at various sizes. Most of the clients will be ordering 5x7, but there could be some that are bigger (8x10, 8.5x11,etc). All photos will need to be uploaded to this site at their maximum resolution to accomodate the largest prints - it does not support a feature to upload the same photo in multiple sizes for different print options. All photos will need to have my custom watermark/logo with my signature and the event name and date - this would be just a simple text with shadow in the bottom right corner of the photo.

In the past, I only needed to support 5x7 prints which made my job easy. I simply cropped all photos to 5x7 ratio and resized to 300DPI, I ended up with 2100x1500 pixels. I then created a layer with the logo and used the batch tool to automate the addition of the logo layer to each photo. The position and size of the logo layer always ended up in the exact same spot, since all photos were exactly the same size.

For my new assignment, I will need to leave the photos at their original maximum resolution to support large prints. I'm strugling now trying to figure out how to automate the addition of my watermark/logo layer so that it appears in the same position and size on all photos. Is there any way how I can automatically resize the logo layer to match each photo's size. That way if I have an image that was heavily cropped to isolate the subject into lets say 1400x1000pixels and another that is lets say 2800x2000 pixels, my logo would proportionally scale up or down to maintain its relative size and position to the background image.

AutoCAD 2013 :: Display Elevation Heights Of Survey Points Without Having To Type Heights In Text

Oct 23, 2013

Any way using autoCAD LT 2014 to get CAD to display the elevation heights of survey points without having to type the heights in text bozes next to each individual point. i can insert a field which displays the elevation of the point but doing this again i would have to do every point individually.

Another words is there a way to select all the survey points required and get CAD to display a certain property, which in my case is the elevation height of that survey point, next to it? so it looks like    x 23.35  x 23.57 etc..

Photoshop :: Converting A Logo To Watermark

Mar 13, 2006

Last night I created a quick little logo to watermark some pictures with; however, after alot of trying I have been unsuccessful at creating a scalable path around everything in such a way that it doesn't blur the edges. I am trying to do what is found at the link below so that I can later automate the process of inserting the watermarks:

The logo design (see below) is made from a capital letter 'D' and a lower case letter 'm' sharing vertical starting strokes with another font. I am thinking that since the two letters ('D' and 'm') are no longer text that this may not be do able. I couldn't figure out how to delete part of the 'D' and 'm' but still make it possible to 'Create Work Path'. I hope I explained this correctly...I am pretty new to photoshop. Is it possible to take what I have (the .psd version doesn't have the white background) and use it to do what they did on the link?

Photoshop :: Batch Watermark In CS3

Feb 15, 2008

I need to place a semi-transparent logo onto about 300 images so people do not take my pictures right off the web and use it as their own. Instead of doing them one at a time, is there a batch method to crank these out? All the images are the same size and I have them in both PSD and Jpeg format.

Photoshop :: Batch Watermark

Aug 15, 2006

I'm looking to create a batch that will allow me to resize an image (I can do this part) and then put a watermark (watermark.psd) on top of it. I have followed several tutorials and tried the actions and know how to batch, etc...but when I try to put an image over it, it errors. I have just been starting the recording and then drag and dropping from watermark.psd to the file I'm working with. That causes an error.

Photoshop :: How To Batch Process Images To Place Watermark On Image

Nov 15, 2013

I know how to batch process images to place a logo or watermark on an image. Normally the image is different every time and the exact same logo is placed on all the images.

In this case the image is exactly the same every time but i need it saved in a folder 100 times each with a different logo. So essentially a reverse of the normal process. Same image different logo's.

Photoshop :: Batch Placement Of Text Watermark At Constant "inch" Height

Apr 1, 2008

This should be simple but I cannot figure it out. I am trying to process large batches of photos with varying pixel counts, but they will all be printed at the same size in inches. I want a constant height text watermark on all of them, but since Photoshop only allows you to specify text height in "pixels," my watermarks end up at different relative sizes on each picture.

For simplicity, just consider 2 different pictures. One is 1700x2200 and the other is 2125x2750. I want to print each one at 8.5x11 with a 1/2" high watermark, via the same batch operation. Whatever pixel height I specify for the text in my watermark, it will be a different size in inches on each photo.

Is there any way to do this WITHOUT re-sampling the files as part of my batch operation? I don't like re-sampling when it's not necessary.

Photoshop :: Varying Gradient Width

Mar 8, 2011

I can make an even gradient between two straight lines, with a fair amount of precision. as shown in the first two jpegs

How I can do this between two curvy lines so the gradient adjusts to the changing thicknesses? In the second two jpegs I'm fudging the effect with the brush tool. But this is not precise enough for what I'm trying to do.

I want to use this for traditional animation drawn frame by frame. So if I went in with the brush tool in each frame, the gradient would be stroking and freaking out when you watch the animation.

Photoshop :: Preparing Same-size Images Of Varying...

Nov 28, 2008

I originally put this with a post on saving for web but I think this is a bit different.

If I shoot a big painting, the resolution of detail - brushstrokes, canvas, imperfections adds to the overall feel of the image. If I shoot a tiny/small image with the same lens/camera and it fills the screen those details look like a relief map of the Himalayas! Can I get around that? I notice that sharpening can make a difference but what are the principles here?

Photoshop :: Pattern Fill Of Varying Density

Dec 16, 2005

i'm using PS CS and I want to fill a selection with a pattern but i'd like to simulate a light source.. so i'd like the pattern to fill with a varying density -- like stippling..or cross-hatching. i'm doing a 2-color (black and white only) t-shirt design so i can't have any gradations of colour. this may be a loaded question.. so i'm just hoping to get pointed in the right direction. if u need me to be more specific let me know.

Would illustrator be better suited for this task because i also have access to ai cs. even if not.. can someone recommend a good illustrator forum that is comparable to this mb? and maybe for Flash too.

When I use Properties to check the fonts it shows Simplex font and 1/8" height for both existing and new text, but mine is visibly larger. And it prints larger. I'm using LT'09. Win XP

AutoCad :: Move Lines From Different Heights On Z To 0

Mar 15, 2012

Is it possible to move lines from different heights on the Z to "0"?

I am trying to use Architects drawings that have multiple line that look to intersect on looking from the top. but when you view them the front or side they are on different heights.

When I draw lines that don't start/end touching a line drawing by the Arch they are on the "0" height on the Z.

Not sure what they used to draw these original. Using Arch lines as reference to draw detail is not working very well, its taking way to Lang to do anything.

Use the view to choose between front, top and Isometric.

Is there a better way of achieving this (screen snip attached). To get the roof segments off lower plate heights I have added in temporary walls corresponding the higher plate height, picked by footprint then extended the overhang on these segments to hit the lower plate height. Then erase the temporary walls. But this detaches the edit footprint-edit overhang function.

Is there a better way? If only a line element would host a roof to enable slope and overhang association.
