Lightroom :: Unable To Export - System Cannot Find File Specified
Oct 23, 2012
I have just migrated my LR4 to a brand new system and am still getting this anoying error message on export however the images still seem to export. In case you can't rfead it it reads:
Â
Unable to Export: An internal error has occured: Win32 API error 2 ("The system cannot find the file specified.") when calling ShellExecuteExW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute
I get the following error message when trying to export a file from LR 4.1 using Windows 7:
Unable to Export: An internal error has occurred: Win32 API error 2 ("The system cannot find the file specified.") when calling ShellExecuteExW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute
Today I got an error message when trying to export a photo. It has never happened before. Win32 API error 2, system cannot find specified file when calling Shell Execute ExW from AG Workspace. shell execute
Almost every time when I try export all system creshes. Â My computer:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9650 3,00 GHz 8 GB RAM ATI Radeon HD 4800 Windows 7 Service Pack 1  instal Lightroom 4.3 (I tried it with 4.1, 4.2, 4.3) on created new user Windows, and nothing. I exported few photos and now again I can't export no photos more. And get still crashing system
1 How do I determine what coordinate system a drawing I have received has been prepared in?
2 I know how to export drawings to a .shp file but how can I export this drawing to a .shp file and ensure that coordinate system is maintained or otherwise changed for use in Arch GIS?
I have successfully exported the .shp file geometry previously but the cordinates system doesn't seem to match ARCGIS data sets. I am trying to establish is this an Autocad or ArchGis issue I suppose.
I'm trying to build some export presets with a naming convention to include the current system date, eg: YYYYMMM-Title-Custom Text. This convention is oftened required for photo club, local, national & international photo competitions. The only date function I can find is the 'capture date'. Is there a way to modify the Export Filename Template Editor to include 'current system date' ??
We can not open most files. Tiff, PSD, some PDF files will give an "unable to find file error". Jpg files, and certain PDF files and TIFF files that use jpg compression work. I have tried resetting all the settings, changing scratch disks / memory usage, uninstalling all fonts, and reinstalling the application and the problem persists. Also i do not know if this is related but the same time we started having errors in photoshop we also have problems in Microsoft Word. The font list shows a lot of fonts as just a white box. Other apps can use the fonts fine. Just not in word. I have attatched a JPG file with screen caps of the errors.
I have edited my video using after effects. I have been unable to export my file to youtube using a valid file name. All of the results have issues with sound and quality.Â
I do not find the profile of my lens(Sony/zeiss vario sonnar T F 1,8) in lightroom 5.2 when correcting for lensdistortion. Another lensprofile also from Zeiss comes up (Zeiss Apo sonnar T 2/135 ZE).Is it a similar lens and should I then use it?
I just installed elements 12 and the install went well, except for all my lightroom images. After installing elements 12 I went to look at my lightroom catalog onlt to find it was no longer there. There was an option to upgrade my elements catalog to lightroom, that seemed to make sense so I did that next.at this point my lightroom (3) catalog is there but there are NO images only blank squares.Â
At this point I am deeply regretful that I ever upgraded elements 10 to 12, everthing was working just fine till i installed elements 12.
Just got PS CS6 and Illustrator CS6 and went on to edit some pics of my cat. Only to find out that my Lightroom 3.6 doesn't seem to find PNG files exported from RAW using PS CS6. Â Is this normal and I have to cough up some more for LR4?
I am exporting approximately 25,000 images from Aperture 2.1.4 and importing them into Lightroom 4. I started working with my small projects of about 300 images to test. From Aperture, I exported the Master files with the Sidecar (IPTC4.XMP) files. [My masters are a mix of .jpgs and .NEF, and I read that the jpgs don't always carry the meta data through]. I successfully imported the master files into Lightroom and ran the "Read Metadata from File" command. I also exported the keywords file from Aperture and imported those into Lightroom as well.  Prior to exporting, I edited one file in Aperture by entering "test caption", "test location", "test keyword", "test copyright" etc. into several of the IPTC fields. These fields are NOT appearing in the equivalent Lightroom fields. I checked the .XMP file (using text edit) and it does contain the correct "test values". I am getting all of the EXIF metadata, but none of my custom values.
Working Win 7 Professional (64bit), Lightroom 4  I am finding that while reviewing / rating my pics lightroom will often lose a pic (pics located within a folder on the desktop - move them to a nas drive later as faster to work from hard drive than accross the newtork when importing and exporting and creating previews etc). I will have a pic on my screen and then use the numeric keypad to rate the pic or the arrow keys to progress to the next pic and then out of the blue lightroom announces that the pic is missing. I look at the hard disk and find that there is now a .swp and .tmp file left in the directory where the pic was. eg below  I can then either rename the tmp file back to a jpg and all is OK but I have just started dragging another copy of the image from the card again. This is not just a lightroom 4 issue I used to have it in Lightroom 3. Its got to the stage where I am now keeping a copy of all images while I do my initial shortlist just incase I lose something which frustrates me somewhat.
I'm familiar with using photoshop edit photos, but new to video. Currently using Photoshop CC, I want to use Photoshop to edit some short video clips, after apply curve adjustment layer. try to render the video but encounter this problem.
"Could not complete the Render Video command because of a problem with Adobe Media Encoder."  I search for solutions from the net but can't find any answer can solve the problem, I have also update the Adobe Media Encoder, and check I have the latest version of Photoshop, but the problem persist.  here are the screen capture of the Render Video setting page and the error pop up.
Lion 10.7.4 MacPro - I cannot export from Lightroom 4 in my main Admin account. Lightroom gives me an error message - Spent much time with Adobe and it was suggested that it was an Apple issue. Apple tech doesn't think so.
I just started getting the following error message using LR5 - Windows7: Unable to Export  An internal error has occured: Win32API error 2 (the system cannot find the file specified.") when calling ShellExecute.ExW from AgWorkspace.ShellExecute  The file is actually exported, sometimes to the folder specified and sometimes to a new untitled folder in the specified folder. This started after I tried unsuccessfully to activate the Facebook Publish service plug-in. I disabled the plug-in, restarted both the program and computer, but the problem remains.Â
I am unable to export my photos from Lightroom 5. The Warning that I get is:Â Unable to Export:Â An internal error has occurred:Â Win32 API error 2 ("the system cannot find the file specified.") when calling ShellExecuteExW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute
Lightroom is current unable to export files (this has happened mid session) It tells me that the file could not be found dispite having just been worked on in lightroom and external editors (Nik software)Testing this it is now happening to all files. There are no tell tail ? marks against these files and all catalogues appear to OK.
Mac OSX 10.6 Lightroom 3.6 Mac Pro Model Name:Mac Pro Model Identifier:MacPro3,1 Processor Name:Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processor Speed:2.8 GHz Number Of Processors:2 Total Number Of Cores:8 L2 Cache (per processor):12 MB Memory:4 GB Bus Speed:1.6 GHz Boot ROM Version:MP31.006C.B05 SMC Version (system):1.25f4 Serial Number (system):3T91400F1LY Hardware UUID:A31A73F4-7213-5FD9-BD0F-510B9C638369
The following error message comes up and for the life of me I can't fix it: Â "Unable to export 'Win32 API error ("The system cannot find the file specified") when calling ShellExecuteExW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute" Â Â Also, should I uninstall and reinstall the programme.
I have LR 5.3 and everything has been working fine. Now I cannot export more that 5 images even though I have checked my registration number and it is correct.I am using Windows 7, 64 bit.
Since upgrading to LR4, I've been unable to export photos to disk. No error is shown, but the UI shows the "exporting" dialog in the upper left of the window, but has zero progress. Here are some details: Â Observations: CPU not pegging, RAM isn't getting eaten up. I can right click on any image and ask to be shown the pic in the Finder (I'm on a Mac) and it takes me to the photo. This catalog has been upgraded from every previous version of Lightroom. Â Troubleshooting: I've dumped my LR preferences (at ~/library/preferences/.com.adobe...) I've upgraded to 4.1 RC2. I've done the "test integrity of the catalog" check and didn't have any errors. This repros with ANY photo in my catalog.
When I perform the export command, the folder I direct Lightroom to does get created by LR, but no photos ever show up there. I've also tried directing the export to an already created folder, and still there is no export.
Environment: Mac OS X (10.7.3 I believe)LR 4 (now at 4.1 RC2).
I am unable to export any files from LR5. This just barely started happening. I have not had this issue, and I have been using LR5 for a few weeks on two different computers with no problems. I have checked all my settings several times, and tried restarting the program. It still won't export! It goes through all the files, and then a little pop-up window comes up saying it could not export the files.
I have made a book in the book module and was really looking forward to send it to Blurb for printing. I push the "Send book to Blurb... " button but nothing happens. I have tried to export to PDF and JPEG aswell, but nothing. I am Connected to internet, I have an account at Blurb but no reaction. Are there any settings I have missed or are there any bugs that prevents me from exporting? Do Blurb ship to Norway or is that the problem?
